Just my two cents, @jetlowbut in your negotiations with him, you can specify you’re NOT into P&P and don’t tolerate it. 
You can even be polite and say, “Just so you know, I don’t do any substances at all. A good friend of mine died from an OD and I’ve been clean ever since, so I hope you’re the same.”
Then, if they show up high it’s buh-bye!

That's fine. You have to do what makes you comfortable.
However, as you mentioned this topic has been started over a year ago. You've been searching all over to find someone or more info in that time. Nothing has been turned up. I get people's reluctant... I do. There comes a point you either sit and wait and potentially miss out or bite the bullet and take a chance.

I really do not like to be the one to "take one for the team" because let's be honest - I'm a wuss and I won't meet someone without reviews (but this is a case where I can meet him in public first).  But I did just message him just to see what will come out of it - only because he's on Long Island.   It would be nice to find a guy that I do not have to keep taking the train into the city and deal with subways.    lol.    I'll let you guys know if anything happens.
