Visited Johnson’s for the first time, last night. I was pleasantly surprised at the diversity and number of dancers. Had a couple of great private dances and one dud. Overall a great experience and I’ll definitely stop by on my next trip to south Florida

When I first started seeing escorts, it happened to me. The guy looked similar to picture. He was hot. I let it go. He asked for money up front. We took a shower together. He started a back rub then said anything other than back rub is extra. I told him to finish the back rub and leave. He blocked me from RM before I could leave a negative review. First, I think it is the same person posting multiple adds. Think about it, if they scam 2-4 people a day. They are paying for rentmen ad and making a futune cheating people who may not know better. I have learned my lesson and I am able to vett such losers.

I usually post on Facebook once a week if that at most. Unless I'm on travel then I'll post some of the sites I've visited for work. The CEO of my company and two of our board members follow me so I'm very careful what I post for obvious reasons. Absolutely no politics and I skip over such posts from friends and colleagues. Don't really have time for ignorant pontificating.
 
My company rolled out Facebook Workplace to the wider organization in January. Gawd what a nightmare. This is billed as a tool for fostering collaboration. I'm skeptical of that.
 
When it first went live there were tons of pet pictures. People were posting pictures of their dogs and cats as well as other animals. I complained to the COS and I wasn't alone. After about two weeks the pet group disappeared.
 
For collaboration I think it's just like regular Facebook. Useful some of the time but not as effective as all the hype tries to claim.
 
IMO, after the last election cycle Facebook, Google, Twitter, and the rest of social media proved to be more detrimental to civil discourse and society than could have been imagined. The social media companies have become too large and pervasive. They proved incapable and unwilling to protect their platforms from nefarious outside influences that easily managed to manipulate users.
 
Facebook, Google, Twitter, Snapchat, and all the rest of these platforms should be classified as public utilities and regulated accordingly. I also wouldn't mind seeing these companies broken up on antitrust grounds. Collectively the social networks have created more harm than intended.

Facebook started downhill when they got too damn many commercials. Then they started blurring the line between paid promotion and normal stuff. It's strange they keep the rather Spartan format and little commercialization on their Instagram platform. I think my breaking point in trusting them was during the election when these Russian keystone cops were so obviously comical in their attempted deception. After that I didn't trust any "news" column I didn't know and respect from previous columns. And that's a loss to Facebook as I had come to depend on FB for much of my news.
 
I've met a lot of dates on FB with genuine guys who I've friended from friends. But I've also met a lot of hot guys on FB who each seem to have exactly 5000 friends but few candid photos or history.

Someone please tell me what this stuff is all about since it happens so much? Are they just enticing dates into show-ups where the client is too embarrassed to refuse payment? I know I got trapped by one of those Rentman traveling scams last year and forked over $300 to someone I wouldn't take $300 to touch. Are the reviews etc on Rentman really such frauds that a chief function of M4M is policing the scammers and Rentman does nothing?
 
For me taking someone cold off Rentmen who I haven't seen or heard of otherwise is just not worth the risks, some of which could be more serious than losing $300.

"Controls" is the key word there and I doubt many agents do that much more than a normal telephone answering service or secretary. That's all most agents are (with some translation skills).

Are you discounting @Larstrup’s description -assuming he wasn’t just waxing poetical because of the escort’s name-of a pulse-pounding experience?

Pimp?!? Lmao... let’s not be so naive here. There is a HUGE difference between a pimp and a manager/agent. A pimp isn’t taking 10-20% of your earnings.. they’re taking 100%. You are forced to work and if you don’t you have the shit beaten out of you. Pimps prey on the mentally vulnerable, brainwash them, and reap the benefits with no real work on their part. You still find your own clients and do all of the work you were doing before and NOW you’re giving it all away.
 
A manager is posting your ads, finding your clients, keeping you organized, and charging a small fee in exchange. They’re actually working FOR YOU. You can fire them and move on at any time. Let’s not forget to mention YOU choose when you work. No one is forcing you to be on the clock or out looking for work.
 
Pimps are not good people. I’ve encountered many, and no I have not ever nor will I ever work for one. I’ve had many friends who have been pimped, as well as several working for agencies. I can’t even associate with any escorts working for pimps anymore because it is so emotionally and mentally draining. Pimps and managers... BIG DIFFERENCE!

CB pays them 50%. 5 cents per token.
 
3/4 of rooms are in St. Petersburg, RU and Medellin, CO. Even the Romanians have filtered out.

HAHA love it. I just hate the guessing game... especially when I have a few in me. It's easier to process minutes than songs.

Wednesday night and I just left Johnsons for a break. Went to Boardwalk first. Being 75 cent drink night I thought it would be packed. It was not. 20 customers and 10 dancers. 80% latino, big beefy guys mostly. Others eastern European, probably Romanian. Only one guy was private dance worthy and he was busy.
 
Wow has Johnsons changed in a few weeks. Maybe 50 customers and 20 dancers. The dancers run the field from latin to white southern. One consistent thing is they are all, on a scale of 10, 8s or 9s. Extremely hot. The privates booths have curtains you pull around you. A wristband to use that area is $10 for all night and the dancers are $20 per song. Very friendly employees (unlike most in Boardwalk). So far Ive had one great private for 5 songs with of all things a guy from Prague (where I go a lot). Right now Im outside on the patio recouping for at least one more private. I love this place. Just the right formula. I will update.
 
Update. Went back and had another private dance. This one only went 60 as I wasnt as turned on. Nice Italian guy.
 
A couple brief tips:
 
The parking is minimal. You can park across the street in a lot or on the metered street. The meters go until 3am. Only $1.50 per hour. If you want to contribute $25 to America's biggest gay city just leave your car 5 minutes over and Wilton Manors will accommodate quickly.
 
There are only two 1-person locked bathrooms at Johnsons. Go before you really really have to. Weird.
 
Otherwise Johnsons is pretty perfect.

I just keep asking the stripper "how many songs is that now?" by habit. Somehow doesn't ruin the mood as they are used to it. If the guy doesn't have anything in his mouth and can answer that's enough unless he gets the hint.

I miss that Swinging Richards in Pompano closed. They did have a way of bringing in extremely prime meat on a regular basis. leBoy from time to time shows signs of attracting good-looking normal guys. No one knows what Johnson's is yet. They seem to want a mix of twinks and muscles but tend more toward the twinks so far. Not sure what their privates policy is yet while leBoy has the guys' rates on the wall.
 
Boardwalk can be feast or famine on any day but it's still my go-to in FLL. A homely feel of sleaze. It used to be packed on weekends with stars and I've met Ryan Rose and Josh Logan in the past few months cruising for dates there. I've also met an incredible blond Argentine and a fantastic Hungarian bodybuilder. But I've also been approached by dozens of sub-par guys. Out of a dozen guys working there on a night I am lucky to see one at least semi-hot one. But at least Boardwalk has a rapid turnover and constantly new guys coming through.
 
I'll be in FLL this week to see the blond Argentine and a friend from Prague so I'm sure I'll be in Boardwalk a couple weekdays at least.
 
I think these type clubs have been hurt mostly by most of the guys working online now instead. FLL is rare in having 3 of them.

Johnson’s is definitely the best of the three. $10 wristband $20 per song. BW was$35 for private area access last weekend plus the $20 per song.

I guess my needs are pretty predictable so I know the time frame pretty well of what I need. Tips I'm sure are an incentive to put some work in. But yeah my giving this advice is a little too late since a lot of the clubs have the time keepers outside the dance area. My strategy worked better before that all fell into place in Ft Lauderdale. Fortunately Montreal is a lot less controlled that way.
