  1. My dentist's periodontist quit and it's been hard finding another. But cleanings and routine dental have continued. My fear with my dentist is her office is now almost the only one left in a 12-story building on K Street that used to be full. The offices you can see into across the street are 5-10% used also. I'm supposed to have another implant so this may get challenging. I went for a routine yearly sonogram yesterday and it took 2 weeks to get a slot, just marginally more than normal. They told me they're down from 4 to 3 technicians which isn't terrible, just irritating. I stopped by Urgent Care in the same Kaiser building and very sweetly gave them the 3rd degree, and as I thought, they are at near full staff with no real delays so certainly worth the $40 co-pay. My MD's office at Kaiser West End in DC is just absolutely in collapse. So Urgent Care being normal is reassuring critical information. My definition of "Urgent" is when I can't get an appointment for two months with a doctor for something they agree is serious. Zoom visits take longer to set up than real visits used to take and are very limited value. Both my primary care doc and the receptionist I've known for many years have been semi-whispering "try Urgent Care" for months. With Kaiser, in DC, I see why now.
  2. Since people stopped having kids I guess you can raise a dog with a robot just as easy.
  3. If you get the generic 20mg V tabs it's easier to give yourself a a spike as needed after the C that morning or yesterday. When younger I'd do 20mg C in the morning and 100Mg V same night, but no longer. And I skip BP meds that morning too.

    Titane

Don't commit the time unless you know what you're getting into. Serial killer fucks her car and gets pregnant. Maybe avant garde, maybe French trash. I saw it on somebody's top ten list somewhere. I wish I could remember the other 9 they liked as a caution. Maybe just too good for 99.99% of us.
  5. Better than I thought it would be. Watchable.
  6. Cute and sweet German movie about building sexy humanoid robots customized as life partners/lovers for each human. Thought provoking. (but sign me up). Very watchable.
  7. another "39" crazy how many providers were born in those 2 years to be "29" and "39".
  8. I do a 20mg C in the morning up to every other day and up to 100mg V at night when active (20mg pills). To be honest I think the C is most effective but when I need to perform for 2 hours I need the V boost. For me that seems a reasonable risk. Sex is also usually good exercise in moderation. Fortunately/unfortunately I don't still see my #1 on weekends who demanded 3-4 hours sex every Friday and Sat night. That's was an nice 3 years.
  9. What becomes scarce? There's nothing there to allot except zoom visits. I just drove by the GWU hospital emergency room with a glass wall emergency waiting room and there were about 100 people waiting where normally there's about 5-10. There's just very few medical people working anywhere. For some reason Urgent Care here seems to be closest to half normal. It's like a national strike of workers.
  10. At that Midtown location, in a year it will be like the former Secrets here in DC; a high-rise condo.
  11. I still like Power of the Dog as best movie although I haven't seen Belfast or Drive My Car yet. More important are the surprises that could (should) shake the conventional wisdom up. Kristen Stewart in Spencer (the story of Diana) is excellent, as is Nicholas Cage in Pig. They'd be my Best Actress/Best Actor picks. The Last Duel and The Green Knight are excellent....no amazing, films of famous medieval stories, even if history and old stuff are out of fashion now.
  12. I noticed this on several "10 Best" lists so decided to give Prime the $5. Much better than I expected and sure to win several technical Oscars like costumes, sets, videography etc. It's a King Arthur's ancient tale from England, of his nephew, called Sir Gaiwin and the Green Knight. Glad I saw it.
  13. N95's are very hard to breath in so I won't use them for long times and not in summer. I compromise by wearing 2 blue surgical masks. Solves the loose-fit problem but I can still breathe a little.
  14. at once? I'd dare 20mg/day for 3 days maybe, but 60mg at once? more normally I combine cialis and viagra sometimes since i figure they are least different drugs.
  15. lol, some escorts would do better giving the sex away but selling the viagra for $100.
  16. These are short biographies and contacts of famous guys (blonds in this case) with casual photos and in clothes as part of the biography. Some famous porn stars, some fitness models or influencers, some combinations. I deleted the one from the back of David Chiacek. I'm uninterested in Gallery. You and WM want all the photos of them taken out?
  17. I often wonder about myself taking a weekly test for something I've been vaccinated against 3 times. But I do.
  18. generic viagra works just as well for a tiny fraction of the price. ditto cialis. I wonder who pays $100 a tablet??
  19. NYT has a 14-day trend everyday and WaPo has a 7-day one. From the later it does seem as if new cases are starting to fall the past 7 days. Of course that can be a fluke for various reasons and in the UK Delta didn't do it's drop on cue as expected. DC hospitals are still full and doctors have disappeared. DC is still in winter snow lockdown with early sunsets but as soon as weather gets better, certainly by mid-March, all bets are off covid lockdown-wise. People are fed up. Travel-wise the crazy government entrance test rules and the dire shortage of workers is more troublesome than covid.
  20. Free on HBO, $4 on Prime. Stars-Matt Damon, Adam Driver, Ben Affleck, Jodie Comer Amazing true story from France 1384. A story known to all French. 1384 France was bloody and so is the movie but very intense and well-acted. Great scenery. Perfect for those who like stories and plots. The last "trial by duel" allowed in France, where two men joust to the death because one has allegedly raped the other's wife and God will decide the guilty one. The wife is held in a wagon to be immediately tied to a stake and burned to death if her husband loses. (not a spoiler as it's the movie's opening scene). The film is 3 parts, each a retelling by the 3 main characters of their version of what happened. Very good reviews with a Rotten Tomatoes 86%, but a box office bomb as Millenials hate history. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Last_Duel_(2021_film)
  21. Pop getting half a million per episode is outrageous. All he does is sit and make a few comments. Strong deserves a lot more.
  22. I know for the orange box iHealth tests we've been getting a lot of free here in DC the expiration is 6 months but I saw an article that CDC? had extended them to one year even though the date printed on the box shows 6 months. There is a lot of doubt they're very good at detecting Omicron especially in early days. But they are good at detecting Delta and Alpha. Seems Omicron is best tested with a throat swab while Delta is best tested with nasal swabs. I swab my throat then my nose fwiw.
  23. If you're going to go all-out RentMan there may not be any great advantage to Massuerfinder or RentMasseur in addition. They're all about $100/month I think. MF is mostly an alternative for guys who want to do less sexually and you certainly don't want to advertise on RentMan for $300 and $150 on RentMasseur at the same time.
  24. Surprise, Surprise !
