This new $300/$400 price range is certainly becoming a thing. I thought last year's $200/$250 range was fine for the guys. But then I'm a client.

Except in the masseur market where MF has become such a PITA it's market share doesn't matter. From what my friends are experiencing MF harasses it's clients and customers too much, harasses latinos, and provides clients who have no idea what to expect when they arrive. Plus MF is $200/mo while RentMasseur is $40. That wouldn't matter if MF resulted in more money but because of all the hassles it often does not or creates so much trouble the extra bit of money isn't worth it.

They try to appeal to the part of the market that likes st8 guys and the part that prefers gay guys both. Just like they try to appeal to tops and bottoms. It's basically an acting job and they try to act the part the customer wants. Otherwise, they limit their market the same as running their ad every other day. I can't belief how many of the guys I know who are "st8" advertise as gay and vice-versa. So strange to see some of the biggest queens I know showing pics with a woman. It's a business.

For most professional guys who tend to business somewhat well your analogies are true because they can't handle both servicing clients and clerical correspondence. I doubt serious depression goes away.
