  1. WM is surprisingly downscale when you actually see it. Some fugly apartment bdgs and houses. Right now if I had to choose in FL, I think Sarasota would be top. Dunedin area of Clearwater 2nd. My friends all assumed I'd move to FtL but I got cold feet. So I commute.
  2. For a gay man especially, I'd think more Wilton Manors or Clearwater/St Pete.
  3. It's Miami or Las Vegas for Europeans. Cheap, close, perfect beach, nice hotels, cheap airfares. Also some wealthy international clients, including some Arab, prefer it to meeting in Europe.
  4. I may be different but I like the historic and fancy Riverside Hotel on the main dining drag of Las Olas downtown. 4.5 star with valets etc and big rooms. Historic buildings of 1st houses in FtL and canal with yachts adjoining. Plenty of fine NYC type restaurants in the block. 10 minutes to beach or Boardwalk bar. Amazingly low rates for the quality, especially on discounters and HotelTonight etc. I like to go to the beach and still feel like a city boy.
  5. It's mostly about setting the wax ring just right.
  6. Niko, Viggo and a 3rd Viggo
  7. Seemingly the most active Czech B/A guys now are Niko Vangelis and Viggo Sorensen I don't know them but their OnlyFans are doing very well with duos. Last I heard they were long-term in Bali and not even sure they're back in Czech yet. "Tom Rogers" of Bel Ami has become incommunicado for months. I should get someone to check on him. My inner circle are either stuck in Olomouc or Prague now with curfews and transit closed. The twins left DC in October and thought they would be back or me over there by now. (My Argentine came for Christmas and is still here).
  8. For those who know some of the Czech guys: I talk with a couple almost every day and, while vaccination has now reached 5%, they are having the worst surge in Europe and Czech is totally locked-down with 8pm curfews and with even inter-city travel banned. Today: ""PRAGUE — The Czech Republic is negotiating with Germany and other European countries to treat its COVID-19 patients as hospitals fill up. Interior Minister Jan Hamacek says 19 beds are ready for the Czech patients in neighboring Germany, which has offered to treat dozens. He says Switzerland has offered another 20 beds in its hospitals, including taking care of the transportation. Talks are also under way with Poland that could provide some 200 beds. The Czech Republic is one of the hardest hit European Union countries. New confirmed cases reached 16,642 on Tuesday, the fourth highest since the start of the pandemic. There’s a record of more than 8,000 COVID-19 patients needing hospitalization. Some hospitals in western Czech Republic near the German border and in the central Pardubice region cannot take more patients. The nation of 10.7 million had almost 1.3 million confirmed cases with almost 21,000 deaths. ______ BRATISLAVA, Slovakia — Slovakia is tightening restrictive measures in a bid to halt the spread of a highly contagious coronavirus variant first found in Britain. Starting Wednesday, Slovakia, one of the hardest-hit European Union countries, is imposing a nationwide curfew between 8 p.m. and 1 a.m. Authorities are also tightening rules for international travelers Wednesday to try to prevent virus variants from spreading or entering the country. Police and military officers are set to enforce the new measures by re-imposing border checks for 24 hours a day on all major border crossings with Austria, the Czech Republic, Hungary and Poland. In Slovakia’s already tight lockdown, people in counties where the virus situation is considered serious need to take a test every seven days to be able to go to work. LINK
  9. I feel the same way. Being alone in a hospital room can be depressing as hell and a surprise message of encouragement, much less flowers or a gift, can mean the world. The only problem is we don't know because of being found unconscious and with covid if he is now conscious and if so allowed flowers or gifts......ICU's usually don't allow them. But it would be nice to be able to do so when we find he's conscious and allowed flowers/gifts. It means a lot and covid treatment is much more successful now we hear.
  10. tattooed stitches on the base of one's cock. we saw it first here ! they should call it a "Lorena Bobbitt".
  11. check the strip clubs thread on FtL. several of the strippers have ads. example: https://rentmen.eu/ApoloXXX
  12. +1 Chipotle All my visiting friends from Europe fall in love with it too and always want a last Chipolte salad or burrito before their flight home. A Danish friend skipped the airplane food over to get Chipotle at the airport here. Chipotle will do great expanding to Europe as Starbucks has.
  13. We don’t talk enough about how the months of the year spell Jason
  14. He was buying dog food when a talkative Millenial asked "Do you have a dog?" Being sarcastic and to get rid of the pest his response was no, he ate the food himself to lose weight but the customer asked how that was going. He responded "very well, I lost ten pounds but ended up in the the ICU" to which he was asked "because of the dog food's ingredients?" To which he responded "No, because I stepped off the curb to smell an amazing golden retriever's butt and got hit by a car".
  15. don't pros use a dildo for a while before a meeting, after cleaning, to dilate? (when necessary)
  16. He somehow got on my IG. His mom and sister and girlfriend are also models. Even fashion models age-out early, often starting work at 18 or younger.

  18. a subscription to HBO includes HBOMax but you must use a device (smart tv, Roku, computer etc) that has a HBO Max app. to sign in with your same name and password.(the add on for Hulu says HBO Max but is really just HBO) . Hulu has 7 days trial and it's HBO Max add-on has 7 days free, but you have to use a device to really get Max. Shame HBO Max is the best streamer because it's a mess.
  19. I thought it was "good", as in average acting and directing with a fairly predictable story but an interesting piece for gay men. Why are so many gay stories centered around a straight woman with only gay friends?
  20. Great news for those who are out of binge-worthy shows after a year of lockdown... Steven Soderbergh's critically-acclaimed 20-hour The Knick that was originally made to revive HBO's Cinemax (it didn't) has finally made it to both HBO and HBO Max. About a famous hospital in NYC in 1900, the scripts, acting and directing are 1st class. It does make a point of showing in bloody detail surgical procedures a lot so be prepared. (i keep my finger on ff). Otherwise it's based on "the father of modern surgery" William Stewart Halsted who discovered cocaine as an anesthesia, became addicted to it, and, as was the practice, was gotten off of it with heroin. WIRED Story Today Rolling Stone has a big story celebrating the wonderful show's finally escaping the quagmire of corporate media reorganization. The Knick is among the most visually striking series ever produced in America, with Soderbergh — serving, as usual, as his own cinematographer and editor — using handheld cameras and shooting everything with natural light. Episodes could have huge spectacle, like a story about the Knick’s doctors trying to escape a race riot, or be unbearably intimate, like an episode where Thackeray goes through withdrawal during a national cocaine shortage(*). And each episode could be unspeakably gory, as the cutting-edge medicine of the year 1900 looked like a second cousin to barbarism by 2015. ROLLING STONE REVIEW
  21. with the new almost-obligatory phrase: "covid tested and immune"
  22. my birthday, including the year, in public. not only is it extremely rude but it poses security and privacy concerns as someone with your name and complete birthday can access all sorts of records.
