Ft.Lauderdale leboy and Boardwalk what happened?
+ tassojunior replied to johnjohn's topic in Male Strip Clubs
Johnson's is enforcing an open-curtain policy now? Do any of the Zac Beech Alpha House guys ever work or frequent? (do they have a flashing sign out front yet?) 2 weeks after my booster I know where I'll celebrate. -
not having to be in a messy period to be irritable Math Computers STEM not having to pack and move in after every date.

Tenet is on sale now on Amazon for $5.99 HD rental instead of $19.99 ! Only Nolan I haven't seen and all the reviews say a really good viewer has to see it at least twice to understand the plot. (Inception took me 2X). I may have to pay $12.99 to buy it to watch several times. Nolan makes one feel so dumb. Maybe it's him.

No, he still is very young (24?). Just much much mileage. I would chat with him on Chaterbate when he was maybe 18 in the woods of NC? with neighbor guys coming over. Then a quick Orlando stay then Gay Hoopla too much and by 21 or 22 he was spent. Amazing he stays in muscular shape. A very Colin Simpson of GH story. That ain't steroids.

One of the Best "Gay" Movies I've Seen in a Long Time

I highly recommend "God's Own Country" with Josh O'Conner who plays Charles in The Crown. Brokeback Mountain in the Scottish dales. (And Josh is endowed). -
Why should I care about Covid? I'm vaccinated.
+ tassojunior replied to + tassojunior's topic in Men's Health
To be clear I'm talking about what the first steps out of personal quarantine can be for those fully vaccinated, not breaking mask laws. For me I no longer feel morally obligated to wear masks outdoors and that's huge for me. My blood oxygen level dropped 2 points since the pandemic from being indoors more and masked outdoors. I've read nothing saying outdoor transmission is significant. If anything I would say the government's 1st steps- opening indoor restaurants and bars without masks- is less wise than my personal decision. I also chose to bubble for the pandemic instead of solitude and to only travel to open beaches. I chose those very slight increased risks to myself and I guess humanity in a rational risk/benefit way and I think no routine mask outdoors is the next prudent step. We've been doing 1 million vaccines per day and people need to start discussing what if anything this will change. Moderna announced today they have a booster coming that is specific to the dangerous South African strain. (Fauci and Moderna say the standard vaccine should cover it but then Moderna also says: " Moderna said its vaccine induced antibody production against the strain first identified in the U.K., known as B.1.1.7, at levels comparable to prior variants. Yet antibodies decreased sixfold against the strain first identified in South Africa, known as B.1.351." (that's quite a footnote!) https://www.wsj.com/articles/moderna-developing-vaccine-booster-shot-against-virus-strain-first-identified-in-south-africa-11611581400?mod=e2fb&fbclid=IwAR0vbTlhG_nB0kycjlMdikxq--UmYqITURBQKLZFqtVa_VhetE3V7IbXt4s I think it's prudent to ask about the South African Moderna booster. -

But you weren't outdoors. I don't see the legal or social obligation outdoors (6 ft apart especially) anymore. I'm willing to take my 5% chance outdoors where there's less danger anyway. And most people over 65 look over 65. We have to start talking about the 1st steps back soon. -

Of course I'll continue to wear masks indoors (except in restaurants and bars) both because it's the law and because I support everyone taking precautions for a while. But wearing masks outdoors is the one thing I hate, it's not required, and from what I've read there's little or no danger there anyway. I've gone outdoors without masks a couple times now and I have to say it improves the quality of life immensely. Fresh air, deep breathing and maximum oxygen are wonderful joys. -

From what I've read the possibility that someone vaccinated can still spread the virus through the air is remote (though not proven impossible yet). I'm already not wearing masks on the rather crowded sidewalks outdoors and plan to travel a lot some 2 weeks after my booster when I should be 95% immune. I'll stay cautious but not in severe total lockdown and wondering what the first prudent alterations can be. -
Like a million more per day and many here, I'm vaccinated and go for my 2nd shot soon. I've been very careful for a year but am ready to slowly get back to somewhat normal life. But they say to keep my Covid routine for a lot longer. Why? (Honestly asking why as I consider drastic total quarantine over for me now).

I prefer my friends to be spread out. I find many old friends change a lot and often are now people you would not become friends with again and get more distant. And vice versa with newer friends. (Plus I absolutely think one needs to keep a variety of friends age-wise at every age). None of my oldest friends can help me set up a mesh system. My friends are mostly in DC, Florida and Czech now and we sort of vacation together and I'm very fortunate to have them visit me in DC for many months at a time. I was able to plan my Bel Ami twins for 5 months here when the lockdown started and my blond Argentine soccer player is here from Miami since before Christmas. It's been a cheap and enjoyable way to deal with the lockdown like an extended family bubble. I wish everyone were so fortunate as to have had such a pleasant lockdown with people who choose to bubble as family. I can't imagine how bleak a year it would have been otherwise and I'm sincerely sorry for those who've had a bleak year. Friends are everything to me and rough times like the past year show who they are.

Making my final arrangements, finding it overwhelming
+ tassojunior replied to a topic in The Lounge
Retiring is the fun part. You'll never look back. It's wonderful. The hard part is aging. -
There was a looong string of dancers from the old DC strip clubs, most recently Secrets, who did porn.

something about that room.

Am I the only one who finds that with many of these super-high-mileage older guys I'd probably pay just as much to not have to do anything with them ?
-
unfortunately the supply and demand in famous aging escorts is often expenses divided by # of clients......if his bills are $1000/week and he only has one client per week.......usually not expecting repeats either.

I'm normally a Ft. Lauderdale frequent traveler but this spring and summer with both Miami and Ft. Lauderdale being locked down tight I took my European visitors to the "west coast" (of FL) a lot because it was never locked down. Now that Ft. Lauderdale's three famous strip/private dance clubs are reopen, I'll surely return there this winter but here's my observations on the fantastic Tampa Bay area: The beaches are nicer than south Florida's, even Miami's best. They're often nothing short of perfect. The Gulf is crystal clear along most of the coast and from above you can see the bottom (or wade) to a good 1/4 mile out. The Gulf is often warmer than the Atlantic. Lastly, the sand on the beaches is ultra white and very tiny granules; something between fine grain sugar and flour. I've never seen sand like that before, anywhere. There are "populated" cities and remote areas with different "vibes". Clearwater is the biggest area and the center of the huge beach resort hotels. It's beautiful and it's beaches are perfect but get crowded because Clearwater is the "local" weekend day beach for Tampa and much of central Florida. (Tampa and Orlando both have metro populations of 3 million each and Sarasota on the south side of the bay has almost 1 million). There are 2 or 3 gay bars in Clearwater that have the usual southern mix of types, including trade and sometimes dancers. St. Pete and Tampa have many more and bigger bars. (Clearwater and St. Pete have the #1 and #2 oldest populations in the US, which also brings a lot of young "hangers-on")..........like Ft Lauderdale. On the south end of Clearwater is Sand Key which is much lower density and fewer singles. Beautiful suite hotels and a branch of the outstanding Columbia restaurant. On the north side of Clearwater is Dunedin with a great little hotel on the wharf and a "historic, artsy" vibe. Over the Skyline bridge on the other side of Tampa Bay from St Pete/Clearwater is Sarasota, the arts center of Florida. The Ringling School of Art, the Ringling museum, and several other museums and art and music schools, including a fine opera house and a very good symphony. The Alsolo Theater was built in Italy in 1798 and rebuilt in Sarasota after WWII and it's season is managed by the Ringling. Downtown Sarasota on the waterfront has many fine restaurants and city-type parks and marinas. It has a very "classy" urban vibe. Across the little bridge toward the beach at Lido Key and Siesta Key is St. Armands Circle with upscale shops and restaurants, including a branch of the renowned Columbia restaurant. Lido Beach and Siesta Key are nice. The "trend" is further up on Anna Maria Island for the "old Florida". All we experienced there was Holmes Beach which was a great beach but zero people or things to do. The very north end of Anna Maria Island is a very expensive exclusive resort area with mostly mansions if you can find places to rent there and prefer solitude. Sarasota/St. Pete/Clearwater are much less expensive than most of South Florida. Tampa Airport is far out in Tampa, huge and expensive, but Sarasota Airport and Clearwater/St Pete airport have very cheap fares on Allegiant (which is fine). Before going I would check Rentmen for the availability of some of the more famous stars, many of whom choose to live in the area. Anyway, with Ft Lauderdale back fully open, I'm sure I'll be weekending there more this winter but I'm going to try to work the FL West Coast in more. I know my European visitors like it better. https://images.app.goo.gl/cveLfhn2RmAaH1iA7 https://i.pinimg.com/564x/d7/7a/5a/d77a5aaa25da6e6904351ef3d8cacd0d.jpg https://www.sarasotamagazine.com/sponsored/2020/10/transforming-the-arts-in-our-community https://1s9kmc1zi8ih113bns3udt1y-wpengine.netdna-ssl.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/06/Clearwater-Beach-Florida-965543248_727x484.jpeg

Ziegfeld's-Secrets "closed for good" at current site

because today everyone wants to live in a building where they share everything, including elevators, with hundreds of other people. -
Just back from the Tampa Bay area (Clearwater and Santa Maria Island). It's the first major beach area totally open. Not sure how business or gay life is.
