Slow Cooker "Roasted" Chicken Anyone?

I notice you've not gotttenn many replies here, Garleth, so I'm going to. cooking a chicken in a slowe cooker always resulted in one that was pink in the middle, so I stopped since I didn't like the pink. roasting a whole chicken only lttakes about an hour and a quarter, so I don't consider slow cooking an option anymore. -
