  1. $1,000 ?….,No. $300 max…and even then I’d have to really be into him. $250 with a generous tip is more my speed.
  2. I’m assuming the title has a typo, and you’re looking for a Paris Museum to visit on a Monday? The Louis Vuitton Foundation is pretty great. The Frank Gehry building alone is worth the price of admission. https://www.fondationlouisvuitton.fr The Musée de l'Orangerie also appears to be open on Monday’s and is a very nice and “manageable” museum. https://billetterie.musee-orangerie.fr/en-GB/home-orangerie Hope that helps!
  3. It’s a bad idea. Dont do it. Want to help?…give him the $$$ to rent an apartment….somewhere else.
  4. Wow, I never knew Travolta’s dance moves in Pul0 Fiction were inspired by the Batusi! You learn something new every day!
  5. I just thought of a very good causal afternoon tea. The Great Court Restaurant at the British Museum. https://www.britishmuseum.org/visit/food-and-drink/great-court-restaurant It’s heavily trafficked by tourists so you won’t feel out of place in causal clothes. The setting is very nice and the food is reliably good. Not to mention, you’re in the British Museum….which is amazing!
  6. Goddamn, I was kidding….you’re a fucking icon! In 2001, the Eagle move to 28th between 10th and 11th. And the world has never been the same.
  7. If I can’t have a funeral pyre…..I’m not going! https://www.nytimes.com/2022/05/18/us/colorado-funeral-pyre.html
  8. I’m not sure you understand the difference between "Afternoon Tea" (a.k.a "Low Tea") and "High Tea". https://www.thespruceeats.com/high-tea-vs-afternoon-tea-765832 I have a feeling that what you’re after is afternoon tea, because that’s what most non-Brits would think of as a "proper British Tea". Traditionally, it’s a formal woman’s affair. Not that it can’t be causal (and male), I’m just not sure there’s much of a market for such a beast. People often assume high tea is the fancy one….it’s not. And it’s not what most people think of when they are talking about having “Tea" in Britain. High tea is more like an early Workman’s dinner. Casual to be sure, but I don’t think it’s what you seek. Sorry, I don’t have any suggestions, but I thought clear terminology might help you find what you’re after.
  9. Weren’t you there when they laid the corner stone at the original Eagle on 21st and 11th Ave? Like sometime in the early 1820’s…….grin
  10. Now THERE’S two men who know how to have SEX!
  11. Another one with bad math skills….. 1 hour $150 2 hour $350? "I’ll take Two 1-hour massages please….back to back"
  12. It’s one of my favorites too. There’s nothing better than taking a break during a Met Museum marathon and eating a "dirty water frank" on the steps outside. God, I love this city!
  13. Just fixing the link to save everyone time….. https://rent.men/NEXXON
  14. Yes, it is becoming extraordinarily common. On a recent trip, 3 different provides had confirmed more than 24 hours in advance. Each waited until 5 minutes before the appointment to tell me that they were "running a little late" and would be over an hour late. All three got axed immediately and lost out on meeting a great client. Unfortunate, but so be it.
  15. Now there’s a man I can “get behind” petitioning to get his job back after he publishes his homemade porn online! grin
  16. Just a reminder that a "masquerade ball" is not a "costume party". There is a very distinct difference. Dressing up as a specific historical character (or even Batman for that matter) would be appropriate at the former, but not the latter. In general, masquerade balls are more formal and upscale events. Elegant, whimsical, restraint is the key.
  17. The mask is everything. Many "look cheap" like they were made with items from the local craft store. Also be careful of "too large". Bigger isn’t always better. I always thought Mia Farrow’s look at Truman Capote’s Black and White Masquerade Ball was simple and perfect. Most importantly it has to be a mask you feel comfortable and confidant wearing. A masquerade ball is performance art and you have to sell the look. You can’t do that in a mask you’re constantly adjusting or feel silly wearing. I think your best bet is something unique and handmade, preferably in leather, from an Etsy designer. I agree a tux is an elegant and relatively easy solution, but if you’re going full Venetian fantasy mask, consider going the whole nine yards with an over-the-top period or steampunk outfit to match. At a benefit where I was asking for a donation though, I’d stick with a tux. After all, if it was good enough for Sinatra, it’s good enough for you.
  18. I thought Newfoundland was next to Australia….. And, why did they name a province after a dog?
  19. Yes and no. I don’t know of one COVID case that was ever linked to an exchange of cash. "Touch-less transactions" are a "cure" in search of a disease.
  20. I would, if I knew any of their real names. Why would I not leave my estate to those who have brought me joy?
  21. Ridiculous. It’s just not a great movie. People need to get over themselves.
  22. God, I hate apple picking. And there’s even more work after you get home….trying to get rid of them all.
  23. Sometimes, you want your boat to be "destroyed"…. Trust me.
  24. I love repeat regulars. Unfortunately, at the moment, no one is in that category. It takes a special man and a special connection for me to want to repeat.
