  1. Makes perfect sense to me! grin
  2. Oh I don’t know about that. I’d say his tone is pretty clear…..
  3. Yeah, it’s a Japanese thing. Evidently, tattoos are associated with the Yakuza (the Japanese Mafia). Times are changing, and tattoos are accepted more and more, but Japan changes slowly.

  5. I was in my local bank today doing other business, and there were 3 couples there discussing how they "always thought Switzerland was a safe place" and they proceeded to share strategies on how to move large amounts of money out of Credit Suisse accounts. This was in a small local branch office of a local bank. I can’t imagine what’s happening on the much larger world stage.
  6. I saw these over the weekend. They are impressive. If you've ever done large format print photography, you understand how technically difficult these were to make. If fact when they were first shown in the early 1970's people accused Avedon of "showing off". They only have 3 of 4 in the set. The Met doesn't own the 4th one (a portrait of Allen Ginsberg's family). I really hated the "bowling alley" gallery they chose to display them. Yes, they are trying to capitalize on the "Warhol Factory" against the "Architects of the Vietnam War" dichotomy, but it's a little heavy handed. Also, you can't really get any perspective on the Murals, which I think is crucial to really appreciating them. Still, I'm glad they're on display. The outtakes are also fun. They help you understand just how hard it was to get the "perfect" pictures. And yes, over 50 years later...I'm still in love with "Little Joe".
  7. Sounds like a lot of work. Best of luck.
  8. Don’t do it. You will be placed in national database of "donors" that other charities can purchase. They will then harass you endlessly. Think about it, they have nothing to lose by going after you relentlessly. After all you’re not one of their donors. And they don’t really care if you get pissed off at your previous charity for publishing / selling your name. The bigger your original gift…..the more you will be harassed. Trust me.
  9. In a million years I wouldn’t pay full price in the scenario you describe above. I’d say something along the lines of "I’m sorry things didn’t work out the way we planned" and hand him the prorated amount he was due. No tip and zero chance of hiring him in the future. My guess is he’d then quickly change gears and try to hang on for the rest of his agreed to time in hopes of getting the rest of his money, but forget it. "I’m done. Nice to meet you. Good bye." Of course, if you paid upfront….well then, the best I can offer is my condolences. Hope you learned a valuable lesson, albeit painful and expensive. Either way, you got swindled and it would help if you identified this provider so the rest of us can avoid falling prey to his scam. To answer the question, "have I ever done it"? Oh hell yes, but only when I felt I was being scammed, cheated, and/or lied to.
  10. It never hurts to ask…..just sayin’
  11. I get sugared regularly, and my guy is actually a little offended that I don’t get hard. I was astounded. "People get hard when you’re ripping the hairs out of their dick shaft???" What the fuck is wrong with you people???……grin Last time he brought it up I said, "You hurt him. My dick doesn’t trust you". We both had a good laugh…..at least until the hair ripping started again….. More power to you, but for me there are sooooo many other ways to have fun.
  12. Not much, if he has any taste. The higher priced models look ridiculously over complicated. All hat and no cattle.
  13. You have seen elderly people try to operate a cell phone….right? Now imagine that person with a broken hip trying to operate a cell phone. The problem with life alert systems is many elderly don’t like them. They won’t wear them because it makes them feel "old". Usually, a cold night helpless on the bathroom floor fixes that problem.
  14. To answer the question…..no, it’s not a good "investment". Jewelry almost never is. And yes, a watch is jewelry. Now so, more than ever. You would. If you can’t afford the real thing find something real that you can afford. Cheap is cheap and fake is fake.
  15. Quoted me $500. I wish I had seen your post, it would have saved me the trouble. He looks cute and his personality in his porn looks like a winner. But he’s way outside my price range.
  16. What he looks like….is a hand. Just a hand.
  17. Ok, first I peed a little…… then I opened Grindr to see if I could block Jersey…lol
  18. NSAIDs, ice, and a brace are all a good start. I said it before, but I believe ice is a "miracle drug". The problem is icing the area "enough". It’s a pain to be constantly getting up to refill the ice bag. I love my Polar Ice machine. I don’t own stock in the company, but the people who run it are super nice and very good at helping find the right device for your needs. If that fails, steroid injections can help. They usually work but you can’t keep injecting them over and over. In reality, you’ve got to stop completely whatever activity is aggravating it. In college, I got it from playing a video arcade game too much (no joke), and I would keep playing despite the tremendous pain it caused. The addiction was real.
  19. And this place is pretty fucking stupid sometimes…… grin
  20. I’m not sure we’re all talking about the same thing. A patient in acute renal failure would not have an emergent AV fistula placed. They would have a temporary device (like a Quinton Catheter) placed into their neck, chest, or groin. It’s easy to spot. It looks like a big Y shaped tube sticking out of their skin. An Arteriovenous (AV) fistula is usually created in the forearm or upper arm and is completely under the skin. It needs 2-3 months to mature before it can be used. That’s why it not placed in an emergent situation. It takes too long to be usable. They are usually placed electively at a later date once the crisis has passed. I’m just having a hard time envisioning a situation where a patient in new, acute renal failure has an AV fistula created and used immediately. At the end of the day it’s not all that important to the discussion of the serious and obviously heartfelt questions posed by @Rod Hagen. I apologize for the digression.
  21. I haven’t been but a friend reports they’ve recently renovated. Sounds like a bad idea….I mean you’ll never be able to recreate that level of filth.
  22. Because this thread needed to be more GAY!
  23. So does that count as not getting fucked….twice? grin
