As a recent newbie myself, I was very nervous communicating too much information for legal reasons. My takeaway is yes, be mindful of the language you use regarding compensation, but be specific about what type of experience you’re looking for. My experience with him was bad. I texted him a couple of years ago when I was in Boston. The texts were curt at best. We had some back and forth communications, establishing a time for us to get together the next evening. He wrote that he would send me his address before the appointed time.
