  1. I think people like her down home, nice girl looks and persona. A biking friend of mine knew her in high school in Hendersonville and his older brother went out with her for a while. She’s a nice change from most of the vulgar and trashy “artists” we see today.
  2. What a helpful response
  3. Any recs for strip clubs in Vegas? I’ll be there on business in a few weeks, Thursday through Saturday.
  4. No to any music or porn during a session. We create our own porn.
  5. I regularly prune mine. I think I have about 20 now. And, as others have noted, it’s great when a provider returns an absence.
  6. First off, I hate their coffee and their whole corporate culture. Thankfully, in my urban neighborhood there are now 6 independent, local coffee places. A new one is a combination book store and bakery and it’s packed. It’s owned by a gay couple and the one who runs it is so damn cute that I go there just to chat with him. He also says that tips are optional since he pays his employees a living wage. F*ck Starbucks.
  7. That’s really distasteful in so many ways. Ugh.
  8. When I host, I do beef tenderloin with bérnaise sauce. Sometimes I do roasted red potatoes. This year I’ll skin two big Yukon golds and one yam, boil, mash and then add half a cup of heavy whipping cream, one stick of butter and some minced garlic and make whipped potatoes. I hate ham and turkey. I refuse to eat at relatives’ dinners where I know the food sucks and the big screen TV is playing football all afternoon, accompanied my Miller Lite.
  9. I don’t have access to the premium photos, but the one shown is of an unprepossessing fellow with more perfume decanters than a diva.
  10. Two hours has always been my norm. With a newbie, it’s usually a glass of wine in the dimly lit living room. They often tell me about their lives, which I enjoy. People love talking about themselves and I enjoy listening. That usually leads to kissing and then we head upstairs for fun. Sometimes they linger past two hours and I have to gently suggest that I have a busy day the next day. Although I couldn’t tell you how many guys I’ve seen over the years, rarely did any try to leave early. It must be my lovely personality!
  11. Yet another horror.
  12. These are things I think about when I run past the local sewage treatment plant. The sheer ignorance and, yes, stupidity of most consumers is a huge problem. The article cites a major issue in American: the willful propensity of manufacturers to pass on social costs to the general population.
  13. The one on the left, please.
  14. People gravitate to these panaceas without taking into account the often horrific side effects. I’ve gradually come to believe that, for me at least, the less pharma products the better, except for well-researched and effective drugs. I understand how beneficial some of these are for diabetics and the obese, where the weight is the main driver of poor health. I’ll be interested in reading members’ experiences with this new class of weight control drugs.
  15. I maintain my normally frenetic, Type A workout schedule throughout the holiday season and eat moderately but well. I’m taking a break from wine, which I love, so that eliminates plenty of useless calories. I will have some top shelf Burgundy or Barolo with holiday dinners, however. Such indulgences never add any pounds since my metabolism is still pretty good!

    Another Ivy Leaguer!
  17. I assumed he was a fake. Plus, he’s “always” available. Peculiar nom de guerre as well.

  19. I feel badly that I forgot to put my little flag up on Saturday. Both my father and my maternal grandfather were combat veterans. Last night I finished reading The Mosquito Bowl by Buzz Bissinger. Okinawa was such a meat-grinder. I highly recommend it.
  20. I heartily agree. I have many younger friends. The best ones are straight. They seem more centered and reliable than my younger and, sadly, flakey gay ones.
