wow! I’ve reached out to a diverse (in terms of age and ethnicity) group of providers in advance of my travel to OC and have already heard back from over half! I’m not used to such rapid follow-up. 2 whom I contacted by email weren’t available but responded within the hour. Now I need to pick my faves.

I’m not sure about the waxing, although the back is pretty tough and you should do it if you hate the hair on your back. I’ve never had hair on my back. Even my butt is naturally smooth. When I’m doing a lot of bike riding in the warmer months, I get my legs sugared, which is more effective and less painful than waxing. Sugaring works really well.

Generally, if someone has been blocked, they may get a message that “this customer is unavailable at this time”. If they have an iPhone and are using SMS, I think they’ll just never get the notice that the text has been received or read.

I texted with him in May about a potential meeting while I was in CT, but our schedules didn’t mesh. Very responsive and polite. I d definitely see him the next time I’m in his area!

I’ll be spending over 6 weeks in the gray countries of Eastern Europe, including Bosnia. Being discreet is the key. I certainly wouldn’t flaunt it. And the Muslims of Bosnia are more culturally Muslim than overtly pious. They drink. I think you’ll be fine.

@Francis you might even find a client who’d like to join you for some back-packing. I’ve done camping before with a provider. It was sublime.

If I’m in country, I’ll do it next year. I just signed up for a Century Ride in July. I’m totally addicted to riding and have several bikes in both locations where I live.

A young man who I see often in SoCal and I did a little experiment one evening. After a lovely French dinner (he’d never enjoyed French cuisine before), we walked a mile or so past a bunch of bars and restaurants along the Balboa Peninsula beach walk. Not a person even noticed or said anything. It’s a different world now. Some providers like to kiss on departure from an airport or hotel. I used to be nervous about others’ reactions. It took me a while to not worry about it.
