You’re correct. In most brands I wear a 32, but often I need a 31. With all the cycling and lifting I do, my legs and quads are a bit larger than normal so I only occasionally find skinny jeans that fit; usually I need slim fit.

I’m probably weird, but even though I travel to all parts of Europe, I rarely see a provider. I don’t want ANY drama to interfere with my time abroad. I had an experience in Budapest years ago that scared the shit out of me.

I buy underwear online from Mack Weldon. The only other clothing I’ll buy on line is directly from denim houses like J Brand, Raleigh Denim and Nordstrom, where I’ve already bought items at a local and very well-curated men’s store and am absolutely sure of the fit. I’ll buy Alden shoes and boots online since with them I know 10.5 will always fit perfectly. Suits, jackets and other apparel are always bought at favorite stores since I’m uber particular about fit. I agree with others about the negative influence of Amazon on brick and mortar; however, I do buy a ton of non-clothing stuff from them. In the Seattle area, especially Anacortes, there are marvelous used and new bookstores which I support since they’re a treasure.

Yes, Frye boots are great. I have 3 pairs, but the Italian made Chelsea boot is a US 11 and the two US-made engineer boots are size 10.5. I try them on in the store to make sure they fit and order additional pairs online.

Sure, plenty of times. After an initial session, if the chemistry is great, the subsequent sessions are two to three day weekends, but usually a two-night arrangement. 90% of them are wonderful. The 3 with whom I’ve had multiple weekends are filled with beach time, work-outs, biking, runs shopping, nice meals. I’m not a late night person and neither are they, so we both appreciate a great night’s sleep. My most frequent partner neither drinks nor smokes, so it’s great. They’re really great times. I don’t think I’d be interested in anything longer. I have zero interest in cruises, and when traveling abroad, which I frequently do (I’m currently on a six-week trip in Eastern Europe) I usually am not interested in bringing anyone from the US along, since it’s more fun to engage the local talent! As others have said, the comp is negotiable, but so far mine I’ve gotten great value and they have seemed pleased!

Asheville is amazing, especially if you’re outdoorsy, as I am. Summers are quite tolerable. Great looking people, food and coffee.

I ride a lot of long distances and wouldn’t even consider naked! @poolboy48220—the new riding shorts usually come in bib form, so they fit very well and the padding technology has come a long way. Except for sore glutes, there’s no chafing. You’ll drop well over $100 usd for decent ones, though.

It plumps it up for a few minutes of fun.
