I have plenty of Lysol wipes, not Clorox. I do have a large supply of Clorox bleach, so I can use my old supply of white 24-Hour Fitness towels to wipe stuff down. -

Just checked the Hacienda at Warm Springs and they want $469/night for a junior suite. Let’s see what that rate is in two weeks. Of course, domestic travel may be suspended by then :/

When the gathering was originally announced, I had expected to be in Portugal with friends; however, I dillydallyed and never bought the ticket. Now, I’m hoping the PS gathering does occur and I can snag a last-minute airfare and accommodations deal. Watchfully waiting.

If this continues to cascade out of control, should we be worried that the elections will be postponed? I know it’s unthinkable now, but would Trump place the country under martial law? I’m just speculating on all possibilities. The military is probably the most trusted institution in the country right now.

I’m glad I haven’t booked my late August travel yet. I imagine, if it’s possible to travel then, that I should be able to get a pretty good biz class fare.

I had to restock batteries at the local hardware store. While I was there, I picked up a box of 10 3M N95 respirators for $20. When I checked on Amazon later, the same box was selling for almost $400! I know they’re of limited effectiveness, but that should give you an idea of the panic.

Also stocks that consistently pay dividends help to cushion the losses.

I don’t recall a big downturn in 2008, at least in SoCal. However, the Coronvirus has certainly diminished my appetite for the hobby.

My three regulars don’t advertise. One did for two days before I grabbed him. The second ran an ad a few years ago and the third ran one for a few months in 2016

Most initial successful meet-ups, for me, consist of a few informative texts followed up by a brief phone call so that each party can get a better sense of the other. Apparently, I have a sexy voice, so that has helped as well! -
