I would have gone in for 20 and think there would be many more like me to do so. I hope he gets a bunch of people but if not i would say its the price that kept them away

To our dear friends and customers.

After much thought and consideration and lengthy discussions with our venues we have made the decision to cancel Spunk Events for the next couple weeks, returning to business as usual - barring any unforeseen changes - on Thursday April 2nd.

The nature of our business is to bring people together and it breaks our hearts that we are in this current and unprecedented time. We realize this presents a hardship for our employees and dancers who rely on our three weekly parties for their livelihood and it causes us a great deal of anxiety, However, the current guidelines by government, local authorities, and the examples of other organizations in the private sector have helped us to realize that this is the right thing to do at this moment.

It is our sincere hope that these efforts will help to reduce the potential spread of this virus so we can all get back to normal as soon as possible.

The Monster and Pieces bar are open for business and if you feel so inclined to go have a drink, please do so. We understand the value of our community spaces to relieve anxiety and stress. This is a personal decision only you can make for yourself.

Those of you who know us are aware that we refer to SPUNK as our family - employees and customers alike. Sometimes families are faced with tough choices. We sincerely hope you understand the reasoning for this very difficult decision.

Be safe, be kind. This too shall pass.

This sounds like a bachelorette party club

“We are not a strip club and we are not full nudity,” Colunga shared with What Now Atlanta over the phone Monday.

“Male Go-Go dancers are the main attraction and they’re all drop-dead gorgeous.”

I visited 2 times over the holidays.
Seems like all the leftovers and misfits or couldn't get hired's from the other clubs are working there. One dancer was missing his front teeth. Very few customers or dancers working the nights i was there.

I seriously wonder how you guys think this entire post could be good for any of the clubs you writing about.

You really wonder why these clubs are disappearing faster than they are opening.

I was scolded not long ago by an admin for asking a non discrete question in a public forum and your openly talking about prostitution. After posting my previous question I totally understood the admins concern.

Gay Strip Club meaning a place with seats and a stage larger than a box with any actual show.
The only thing I could find was Pieces only on Sunday.
Gogo dancers on a box in a bar to me is not a strip club.

I'am not really sure what the hell your last rant was about but I'am very sure that any bar even a strip club needs to be run as a business and Campus does or could fit the business model of a bar.
Drunk/High owners and managers is a sure recipe for failure.
The only reason drugs are so available at Campus is because the ownership permits and surly profits from it.

It seems like a pretty simple business model, put some nice looking guys on a stage and they will come (customers)
For over a year campus has failed to provide a consistant strip show.
On some nights many many songs are played with no dancer on stage.
The place doesn't seem to be run like any bar I have ever been in.
The staff and both owners are either high or drunk most of the time not paying attention to there business.
Since the former manager left (Danny) the club has been on a steady decline and seems to have been taken over by drug dealers.
Its easier to buy drugs at campus than get a drink.
    Pretty sad place.

Hmm, you have to wonder about the guys writing those reviews. A $15 cover charge is a pittance compared to what you'll spend on drinks, tips, and lap dances. Anyone grousing about a $15 cover is probably not the kind of customer either dancers or management want in the first place.

I don't know what drinks cost, but if the reviewers are complaining about a $15 cover, then I'm guessing drink prices aren't that outrageous.

So I have to fill out a form before I can see hot guys shoving their goody package in my face? Uh ... where do I sign?!

Like anything else, any opinions/reviews can be very skewed. What is hot to someone is a total turn off to another. The review only really matters if it is from someone you share similar tastes with and trust their opinion.

In addition, talent can vary from night to night. So while day 1 might be awesome, night two might be a bust. That does not necessarily mean they’ve gone downhill.

I have not made it back to Miami yet to see it, but I know the General Manager, Sam. He ran the old Floppy and has been in the business forever. I remember him when he was a bartender in DC before he and his husband moved south. He runs a tight ship and I’m confident he’ll have a good club.

One of the greatest City's in the world and not one REAL gay strip club.
All of the almost stripper partys in NYC that I have seen while visiting dont come close to being a real gay strip club.
    So sad!

The dividing factor is dancer privacy. What spurs media dev’t with Stock is the online streaming and related services. The dancers there need to be comfortable with exposure. They have local families and this is a temp gig.

The club even has an area geo-nogo zone for the site. And the FB/Instagram media is focused on the more “respectable” ladies crowd, less stigmatized because it is again like a strip-o-gram concept for bachelorettes.

The central theme of social media is the entertainment.

There needs to be a place for strippers to be relatively on the down low if they require. Even then, a hen party may be very awkward if they attend the same gym, school etc. Or a cousin informs Mama Bear ‘guess who shoved his dick in my face’. Many are physique competitors who need a certain image for sponsorships. Therefore, Campus.

Dancers are ersatz escorts with minimal anonymity. Why should they bother if the promise of great bank is not fulfilled?

I thank God in heaven Campus does not push media banner ads with pics of fake guys.
