Apply now for one of the 87,000 new IRS positions. They probably won't pay as good as what you're making now, but the job is recession proof. There's more to a job benefit than salary. Look at job stability, pension, healthcare, paid time off. My peers in university thought I was crazy to take a government engineering job in 2005, when I could have made double the salary at an entry level engineering position in the private sector. By 2009, the tables had turned. I still had my job and benefits, and they were searching for work.

For the cruise, bring a handful of $500 peso notes. When on the beach, ask the staff if anyone can do one on one entertainment. I had so many protein drinks from the cruise staff that day 😉. I plan on booking twice during my upcoming three week trip.

I'll be in Puerto Vallarta for three weeks this Christmas. Right now is still PV's slow/hot season, so not every bar/strip club/venue will be open. Busy season starts week of Thanksgiving. There's a new bar opened this year called STUDS. It's a Bear/Leather bar. It's in Zona Romantica, but it's not on the same block as most of the other gay bars. If bears/leather is your scene, be sure to check it out. For strip clubs, Club 69 is my favorite. It's next door to Wet dreams, another gay strip club, but Club 69 is better. There's also Anthropology gay strip club, it's one block north of Zona Romantica. Pervert, a 4th gay strip club, probably won't be open until busy season. If you're there on a Friday, book PV Delice Party Cruise. It's about $140 US. It's a day of snorkeling, lunch, clothing optional beach, and sexy games with the crew on a party boat. As for the pool party at Casa Cupula, I'm sad to say it's gone co-ed on Saturdays and Sundays. The new term is "inclusive", which means pay your $$$ but keep your clothes on and no hanky panky. Time and money would be better spent on the beach near Blue Chairs. Friday pool parties at Casa Cupula are still clothing optional men only, a decent alternative if you arrive too late to book a PV Delice Party Cruise. For Sunday afternoons, Beers Burgers Boys at Hotel Mercurio is fun. Amarilla Villas isn't offering men-only days yet, but they said they will bring that back during their busy winter season. Check out Palm Cabaret and Incanto for English gay entertainment. There are a few shows performing now, and more will arrive soon as the month progresses. Sauna Spartacus is open again. It's a multi-story bathhouse with open roof deck. They offer massages. For a cheap price, you get a sure thing. Plus half of the massage parlors in Zona Romantica can offer happy ending. On Grindr, pretty much everyone with Massage or massage icon on their profile title is available for hire. Expect about $1000-$1500 pesos for a massage or $3000 pesos for escort found via Grindr. RentMen guys will charge $4000-$5000 pesos. Have fun!

Hiring an escort/masseur I hooked up with anonymously before?
+ Vegas_Millennial replied to LostUpstate's topic in The Lounge
I had a date/hookup with a guy when I was in my late 20s. About 5 years later I saw he advertised on Growlr for men's grooming, and also on RentMen. I've been seeing him regularly now for 5 years for my grooming needs, and also some adult fun added to most grooming sessions. I pay him for each grooming/massage/escort visit. While he's giving me a manicure/pedicure/haircut we talk about each other's lives. We brought up the date from 5 years prior on about our 3rd visit. He brings it up every now and then jokingly, because I never called him afterwards! Off the clock, I'll take him to dinner and a play occasionally or invite him to my house for board game night, and he'll meet me at the bar to chat every once in a while and buy me drinks. It's not awkward at all. It's a great relationship. -
Nonsense. Next is to reconsider whether to advertise as a man, or advertising as transgender, since there is a heightened men/gay/transgender craziness. Or suggesting providers removing Latin from a name. Or stop hiring men named Christian. Nonsense to it all. Although I have not hired JewishJock, I like that he is forthright in saying he is available for overnights, while still providing a massage. I can think of few things nice than starting a session with a message, and ending with a night next to this gorgeous man

Most Ever Won on a Scratch-Off Ticket?
+ Vegas_Millennial replied to BuffaloKyle's topic in The Lounge
Correct, I never have. That would be a 100 mile drive roundtrip, for a 1 in 10Billion chance to win only $1Billion, then it would be subject to California's millionaire income tax! A much better use of my time and money would use the $20 I would have spent on petrol to invest in my Roth IRA, or use it to add to the tip of one of my upcoming massage or escort hires 😁 Or, I could stay local and play the Megabucks slot machines. Better odds at winning, and the tax dollars supports my local economy. -
I am grateful for my therapist. He works for his own practice, and I pay him with cash. I may be inclined to feel the system were against me, too, if I lived in a place where the only access to help was from government funded providers. I realize that not everyone is in the position to pay for therapy on their own, so government funded providers are a good backstop to have for a segment of the population, similar to government funded primary education.

Most Ever Won on a Scratch-Off Ticket?
+ Vegas_Millennial replied to BuffaloKyle's topic in The Lounge
Scratch offs, lottery, and all forms of government-run gambling are prohibited by the Nevada constitution, so alas I've never played scratch offs or the lottery. -
I saw Strong Strokes in May this year. I agree with @pubic_assistance's observations, although I would say he looks late 30s. Not my favorite provider either, but he does make an effort for an erotic experience. I have nothing bad to say about him, and for a different price point I'd go back.

Check the cable connection. Make sure the cable from the printer to the hard drive has not become loose, or any of the prongs become bent.

Spirit Airlines - Your First Time Is Always The Best
+ Vegas_Millennial replied to + azdr0710's topic in The Travel Desk
Having had sex with flight attendants (not during their working hours) from Spirit, Allegiant, Southwest, American, United, and Omni, I have noticed the relationship between quality of the sex is in direct relation to the quality of the airline. Budget carriers get the job done, but the sex has been unmemorable. Southwest flight attendant sex has been better than average sex, but just average for sex with a flight attendant. United and American flight attendants...wow... That's some of the best sex of my life! Omni, which does private charters, is in another league! I had my an Omni flight attendant move in with me for his outstanding service. It'll be interesting to see if a similar relationship exists between the quality of a cruise line with the quality of sex with its officers. I've started to collect data by sleeping with assistant officers from various cruise lines. So far the results are inconclusive because my sample size is too small. -
I can't answer this for you. The dancers typically only wear underwear, shoes, and socks. Patrons typically wear average evening street/bar clothes. Dancers will be dancing on elevated platforms, while patrons buy drinks at the bar, mingle, and dance/chat with friends. Dancers will rotate throughout the night as they go on break or leave/return to/from private dances. For a private dance, just approach a dancer you like and ask him for a private dance. The dancer will take you to the private dance area. A host will explain the rules and the payment system. Spunk uses timers on tablets, with the accumulating price clearly visible to both you and the dancer at all times. The dancer will keep going until you tell him to stop, so keep an eye on the timer. I like this better than the $20/song rate in place at most establishments, even though I didn't think I would, because often songs vary in length or are hard to distinguish when they start and end when DJs transition between songs. I am 40, and I am neither the youngest nor the eldest patron there. As long as you're physically fit enough to walk down the flight of stairs to the basement, you should be fine. Other patrons will be watching the dancers, not you. And if you tip often and well, the dancers will be watching you and not the other patrons 😉

I might wear a mask at the bar next Monday night. 🎃

The Worthington has been bought by new investors. While it is still a clothing optional gay men's hotel, the changes are noticeable. Room prices are all upwards of $400, where they used to be $200 in 2019. Housekeeping no longer offered every day. Prices at the vending machines tripled. Now charges for parking. Really nickel and dime the customers. For my upcoming February trip, I'm staying at the Big Coconut Guesthouse (I've stayed there once before), and Fantasy Island Inn in Wilton Manors. While neither property is as large as the Worthington, I am still afforded the opportunity to be naked outdoors in a pool, and a much closer location to the gay bars and strip clubs. At Fantasy Island Inn, I'll be walking to Johnson's and Alibi most every night, which is a plus because parking is limited on weekends.

I prefer cash rewards, so I'm not restricted to redeem with a particular hotel brand, cruise line, or airline. I pay for almost all my travel with a Costco VISA, which gives 3% cash back on travel and includes rental car and travel protection (haven't needed it yet, but it's nice to know it's there). I also have 1 credit card each of American Express, Discover, Matter Card, and Visa to make sure I'm covered by all the major networks in an emergency. Each card is issued by a different bank, in case one bank temporarily suspends an account due to fraud or financial troubles on the part of the bank.

Not every city celebrates Pride in June. This is partly because of climate, but also because each city does not want to compete with other cities in the region and thereby force people to choose to participate in only one Pride event or the other. Las Vegas and Phoenix celebrate Pride in October, on different weekends from each other. Palm Springs celebrates Pride in November.

2023 401(k) & IRA contribution caps jump

Question for @Kevin Slater, can self employed contribute to a solo Roth 401(k)? (I don't even know if solo Roth 401k exists). -
EduardoLatino in NYC
+ Vegas_Millennial replied to immaculateperfection156's topic in Spas & Masseurs
I saw EduardoLatino in June for a 2 hour massage. I was so satisfied with all that he provided for me in his 2 hour massage that I have no need to search for him through RentMen. I will see him for a 2 hour massage when I visit NYC again. -
At the start of October I walked in to Walgreen's for a Flu Shot. They said they were booked for appointments for weeks out. So I went across the street to the grocery store which has a pharmacy, and got the flu shot right on the spot, only 1 person ahead of me in line.

Have you ever rejected someone because he was too big?
+ Vegas_Millennial replied to a topic in The Lounge
Thanks, I needed this inspiration. I have given up too easily in the past. The feelings are exactly as you describe. I will keep this in mind that I am not going to die, and practice, practice, practice! -
NYC gay bar hangout(s) for seniors?
+ Vegas_Millennial replied to + sync's topic in Male Strip Clubs
As a 39 year old, who self-identifies with the mentality of a 59 year old, I like Monster and Ty's. They are so friendly. Mix of all types. I don't feel young, nor do I feel old in either bar. -

Hotel prices skyrocket… literally~

Back to the topic of literally skyrocketing, I wonder what the new name for the Mile High Club would be? The Astronomical Unit Club doesn't quite have the same sultry sound to it. 🚀
