I panicked and thought, "This is how it all ends."
Yup. I assumed that the site was down for good. I'm so glad that wasn't the case.

Too bad Bert Parks isn't still alive to play the lead role again, following Robert Preston
He wouldn't be a draw anymore anyway. Very few people not of our age would know who he is. :-)

Given all the recent news on the way Scott Rudin abused/tortured/yelled at his underlings, do any of you still plan to go see The Music Man? I'm not even sure at this point if Hugh Jackman and Sutton Foster will agree to be in it if Scott Rudin hangs on.
It seems to me that Rudin is out, or on his way out, or will be very discouraged to have any sort of tangential participation. From what I understand, Jackman and Foster are still involved.

99% of them are from guys 5,280 miles away who say they're somewhere in the States (Oklahoma City seems to be a favorite location).
The messages I get also often proclaim something to the effect that love can conquer distance, etc. But I've never been the type to get into long-distance relationships, so I never bought into that anyway.

Didn't get to see the revival with Megan but did see it with Daniel Radcliff and Mary Faber and enjoyed the show
Back in the day, I used to accompany Mary Faber's voice lessons, lol. So happy she's had a good career on Broadway.

In yet another episode of "the name game," Boston-based escort "JaySmiles" has now changed his name to "DatGuyJaySmiles." Is this supposed to make him sound more "cool?"
I'm really finding it interesting (and annoying) how many escorts feel they have to keep renaming themselves.

As much as I liked the 1960s Noel Coward musical "Sail Away," I wish there was someone else to balance Elaine Stritch. Elaine was wonderful.
I saw Sail Away in a brief 1999 revival with Ms Stritch in recognizing what would have been Noel Coward's 100 the birthday
You may or may not know that Stritch was not originally to be the star of the show, but after Coward was unimpressed with the original female lead, Jean Fenn, she was fired and the show rewritten around Stritch's talents. I assume the leading man, James Hurst, was good enough to stay in his role - that certainly would have been the role to get someone more Stritch's equal. (I have a student currently working on "Go Slow, Johnny" - fun song.)

So he just uploaded the same pics so they appear as current?
How old are those pics? From 5 years ago?
Yup - the pics all have upload dates from late March. Who knows how old they are?
(A few of them are truly questionable in general, in terms of appropriateness.)

...and now he's changed his profile name to "Damon Wright" - even though his ad still says "Hello Gentlemen my name is Preston." He still claims to be 21, which is pretty laughable.

"Paradigm shift"
Why do "digms" come in pairs, and why are they always shifting?

Figuratively speaking, you hit the nail on the head.
He literally hit the nail on its literal head.

I am literally sick of people using literally incorrectly. It literally made me puke. And what literally made me even sicker was some dictionary literally "OKed" the use of the word literally to mean NOT literally. I kid you not. Literally.
There have been so many marvelous posts on this forum over time, but this one may possibly be the best. Literally.?

"Look," used to start a sentence. I'm hearing more and more of this on TV when commentators are interviewed, the answer to every question starts with "Look." (Biden does it too.)

I go back to the days of Hooboy, but when Daddy took over, I actually remember being somewhat confused by Guy Fawkes, as I didn’t realize he and Daddy were the same lol. But I’m grateful for both of them lol.

I’m not sure how I missed this news last night, but I just want to add my love and respect and grateful feelings for Daddy and how sad I am that he has passed. This was not unexpected but it’s still hard to hear. Thank you, Cooper, for keeping us informed over the last month. I hope you are holding up ok as you deal with the news.
I too will dearly miss this site if it goes away - I hope there is a way to continue all of this, though as someone else noted, it’s hard to imagine someone with Daddy’s incredible dedication all this time. But I also really hope that all his work can somehow be kept and furthered in dedication to him.

It's really good that we can be informed on his condition, even if the news isn't good. Thank you again, Cooper.

Is this the same guy that was escorting in 2017? And he's 21 now??
2016.

This guy is back with a new name.
https://rentmen.eu/Preston_Premium
He is not 21 though that's for sure.
He was using that name on Friendboy (Boston) until recently.
No, he can't possibly be only 21. I'm not sure that I would go as far as to say that he's a scam artist, but he clearly has issues with honesty (and had, if not still has, issues with substances), and I would just offer a caveat to anyone thinking of hiring him. Cute isn't everything, and best to think with the head on top instead of the one below.

He has changed his name again - now he’s Holeplugger.

Am I the only man here who likes to say the man's name when he's getting off?

Yes. Names can be sexy. Some names may in fact have sexy "feels" or associations for us. Unicorn mentioned the name "Kevin" which for some reason I have always found very hot. :-)
But yeah, especially if I sense that a guy likes hearing his name, I enjoy saying it. Or, as some guys have mentioned, if there's a preferred nickname.
