It is not uncommon. There has been a lot of stories about this, particularly in the military, for years. Due to the shame the victim often feels, it is significantly under reported. Years ago (90s) there was a storyline about this on Hollyoaks as well.
Thanks! I also watch "Hollyoaks".

I won't call it gay. In the news we've been hearing alot about men raping women. Do you thing male on male rape is common outside of a prison environment?
There was recently a storyline on the Brit soap "Coronation Street" about this.

When I was a boy I loved playing Monopoly with my cousin. I was the Cannon.

As an aside in grade school there was a boy who only had one ear. There was a hole on the side of his head where the ear would be. And his hair was cut like a normal haircut back then. The hair was trimmed around the hole like if there had been an ear.

Thanks! I seem to remember a Christmas candy when I was a boy "Divinity" that was both white and pink.

I thought that Joshua has pretty eyes.

I loved to go to the barbershop with my father. The barbershop charged more for kids on Saturday. So he would wake me up early on a weekday, we would go to a diner for coffee (cocoa for me) and doughnuts, then to the barbershop. The shop was owned by a good-looking Italian guy named Carl and he had his equally sexy younger brothers, Tony and Sammy working there too. I had little-boy crushes on all three of them. Sometimes we were the first customers. The men would all sit there smoking and chatting while I got my hair cut.
It's a very fond memory.
Thank-you for sharing that memory.

I can't remember the last time I heard it. Its not surprising that some wouldn't recognize it. Also, it was only used by a certain type of guy. I never once heard my father say it.
My father used that expression; that's where I learned it.

Maybe it's a generational thing. I remember it from a looooong time ago.
I remember going to the barber shop with my dad when I was a boy. They also shined shoes.

I thought everyone knew that expression meaning to get a haircut but I was watching the recent episode of "The Neighborhood" and some didn't.

Please....like it’s such a mystery why megafauna died off 50k years ago...I wonder what species started to ascend during that time......we killed thousands of species, 8ncluding our rivals the Neanderthals. We kill everything, including our home planet.
We killed the Neanderthals? Interesting. I hadn't heard that theory before.

The recent episode had two gay stories; one happy and one sad. Early in the show there was a m/m engagement scene. But later a sad one. A man had been the victim of gay bashing.. And since he had gotten out of the hospital he had not left his apartment for 16 months. He was walking with a cane. It was really sad.

And you can't walk far on your walker...
Right!

Isn't it mandatory here (it is in most jurisdictions in Australia)?
No. It's up to the individual pet owner.

Does you landlord have you microchipped?
No need to since he always knows where I am.

On Corrie Adam played Nick. I remember when Jason was struggling with his sexuality and tried to kiss Nick.
Adam is now on the Brit soap "Hollyoaks" but I haven't seen his character for awhile. The character is gay.
++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
I hope Jason played by Bruno Langley will return.
++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
On Corrie the actors who play Sean and Billy and Daniel are all gay in real life. Sean and Billy play gay characters.
