A similar thing happened to me.
After introducing myself he texted me this:
“Can you tell me about yourself and what you're looking to get into?“
My reply was about what I was into. After a long radio silence I followed up. His reply was:
“You haven't told me anything about yourself”
I admit that was my bad so I went on to describe myself. Another long radio silence, I followed up again with some sarcasm. I texted, “I guess I didn’t make the cut”
His reply:
“No I didn't say that. And not being rude but I have a life that does not stop because i get a text message and I'm not on the clock so I will return text messages as I have the time to. Your also booking time together for a month from now. And you have not given specific dates or put any deposit down to secure a booking that far in advance.
I have not "cut" you That's not what I do anyway. Im trying to get a feel for who you are. And how you answer basic questions tells me a lot about how you will treat me and our time together”
I just gave up after this. It was my mistake to assume I was having a text conversation with a prospective provider. Being made to wait for long periods of time for a reply gave me an idea of how I would be taken care of when we met.
