To me the concept is still very valid - “safe sex” means that the parties involved are taking precautions to avoid contracting STDs. PrEP does not cut it as it does not prevent chlaymidia, gonorrhea etc. ? Equating “safe sex” with PrEP alone is like labelling yourself a “safe driver” because your vehicle has air bags, but neglecting to buckle up.
