  1. Nothing but kudos Bruins. Good luck Monday Zags!
  2. I'm always amazed at the stories shared by my friend Carmine about some of the young men he meets on Grindr! Scary? But back to the OP. I wouldn't make any sweeping generalizations about porn stars, unless you are prepared that people might do the same about you for watching it. It's a business.
  3. Loved it. Nicely done. A coworker, now retired, worked with Tina Turner many years ago, and has all nice things to say about her.
  4. .....or you could take The 10 all the way to Santa Monica and see Nay. ??
  5. "Other side of The 10? That's almost Long Beach MAN!!!" LOL Might as well see El.
  6. Not sure if the rest of the country gets to view West Coast games on ESPN with Walton doing the color. I love them. He is one of a kind. ? One night he was going on and on about a dance line that had their first dude on the team. Might have been UCLA. Anyway, he gets it.
  7. I have developed feelings for my massage therapists. I'm fine with it. There are some that are truly nice guys. I can't deny I am a little sweet on them. Not a problem for me. I tip them well. Anyway, give yourself a sanity check now and then, and just enjoy their company. That's one approach.
  8. The opiate crisis is definitely disheartening. How society seems to be slowly circling the drain is too, such as rude, young people.
  9. I explored a Boxer Rescue org. but soon dropped the idea. Their rules included that they would decide which of their dogs are a good fit for me, that I wouldn't necessarily be allowed to meet a specific dog listed on their Website. They had other weird rules as well and wanted a lot of personal credentials. Some of these rescue groups cherry pick the city and county shelters adopting certain criteria dogs. Hopefully it's good for the dogs. I don't know. I ended up adopting from a high kill county shelter. I was so happy I did. If the Labradoodle outfit doesn't feel right to you, perhaps you might pass. After all, you're adding to your family. It's a big decision.
  10. USC looking even better tonight, now into the Sweet 16. 4 PAC 12 teams advanced.
  11. LA Underrated: DTLA old architecture like some of the old movie palaces and the Eastern Building, http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-1fIJ9hBMhSI/T1gNsEHpUmI/AAAAAAAAKkA/3VXiZj9-uKY/s640/tower+Eastern+Columbia+Building+Los+Angeles.jpg Walk around, then find one of the trendy places for a delicious meal. LA Overrated: WEHO and Rodeo Drive. Visitors want me to take them there. I dread it.
  12. How far will Loyola go in the NCAA tournament? They knocked out 1st seed Illinois today. Makes me wonder if the committee overlooked their strength. AP News USC looked pretty good yesterday. All 5 Pac 12 teams advanced to the 2nd round, including two upsets. Interesting tournament so far.
  13. Does anyone watch The Goldbergs? Saw it for the first time last week. To me, the humor is similar to Malcom in the Middle/Moden Family genre. I enjoyed it. Been on several years. Compared to a lot of content our there, it's pretty good IMO.
  14. IMO, the tape recorder scene in Happy Together is a great scene period, not merely a great "gay" scene. It was all about Lai suddenly admitting his grief. Well done. Tony Leung was brilliant in that movie. Interestingly, Criterion just released a Wong Kar Wai collection of 7 movies, including Happy Together.
  15. We stayed in a 200 year old B&B in Wellsfleet, that was haunted. ?
  16. Provincetown is crowded. That might appeal to some. Lot of young energetic boys. ? The above lobster comment brought back memories. Good eating. The beach is nice. My friend got a terrible sunburn! ☹ Palm Springs is relaxing and beautiful.
  17. "Other People" has a gay lead character and was written by a gay writer Chris Kelly, former writer at SNL. But it is not entirely a gay film. It's about a family dealing with cancer as well. Watched it on Netflix. I love Molly Shannon. She won a Spirit Award for it. It is funny, sad and ultimately poignant. The cast is quite good. So many talented actors.
  18. Minari and Nomadland are both nominated for best picture. Getting killed off the show by the writers of TWD has lead to this, a best actor nomination for Steven Yeun's performance in Minari.
  19. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3ZRygAf-m-g:8 Brilliant cover. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vXuQK6NvYXY:2
  20. A friend's parent passed away this morning. We exchanged some texts. I wanted to be careful how I expressed myself. One can unintentionally say things that don't come across well. I invited her to call if needing to talk and that she and her mother will remain in my thoughts, and how sorry I was to hear the news. I did a search for what one shouldn't say, things that seem insensitive. Glad I did. "Be strong" and "hang in there" are not recommended according to the source I found. "She's better off" or "in a better place" are also not recommended. I admit offering "hang in there" in the past, but will think twice before ever using that condolence again. I do remember when my Mother died, a coworker saying some things that were not helpful, how I couldn't wait for her to shut up.
  21. Any recent experience with Edgar? https://www.masseurfinder.com/massage-therapists/33385/
