I am looking at the bigger picture, what exactly is this show about. Steven Moffat (“Doctor Who,” “Sherlock”) adapted “The Time Traveler’s Wife” into an HBO series because he’s a fan of the book. `NYPost I understand that the blow job scene is straight out of the book that this show is based on, so I like the way the author's mind focused on what a young man might do if given the opportunity. What caught my attention is how handsome Theo James is and how often he's naked. Yeah, I know, that sounds pretty shallow. But also Steven Moffat has a way that appeals.

By now I know not to bring it up, because they can become quite an ear bender, how they go on and on and on about crypto. At one point I asked the most knowledgeable of them to define the underlying value and was told "it's similar to how we value gold." Of course that's ridiculous. Gold has a track record spanning centuries, has various uses, and is coveted universally. Crypto is not gold, in my mind. For me that goes back to Warren Buffet's strategy. I believe he looks for value and avoids anything he doesn't understand. For me, crypto coin fails to meet his criteria. But again, for the newbies, if you have an urge to make big money fast and want to include crypto, I recommend instead thinking about your long term strategy, where you want to be in 30 years. You can end up being the mailman that has a million bucks in your nest egg. or the doctor that has almost nothing saved. (these are hypothetical examples folks, so no need to clutch your pearls. Oprah has a show on this called the millionaire next door.) Leave your emotions out of it and follow simple rules and strategies. Educate yourself beyond what you read in this thread. Find some reputable authors and read up.

I doubt Buffet would buy anything right now that doesn't fit his value criteria. So for the newbie investors, Buffet would remind to look for well run, good companies that are priced at an attractive value. I have watched investment TV shows that invite guests to talk about including crypto in your portfolio. I never agreed with that advice. However, if the newbies choose to branch out into crypto funds, always remember to diversify so that your nest egg is not consumed when one asset class collapses. My college reunion is coming up soon. Being closeted in fly-over country was pretty common. One guy has come out, but honestly, I don't know if traveling that far to see him or some of the other guys appeals to me. My best friend in the house will be there. It would be nice to see him again. Maybe the weirdest part of going back is a pretty heavy bromance mixed with some sexual play I had with one guy for two years. Even after college, we were dealing with it for a little while, though by then I no longer wanted anything down-low like we'd been in college. He'd hinted to me that he still did. Several years later I was offered a job on the west coast while he was getting ready for his 2nd marriage. I've been out here 20+ years with no contact. I really never knew what was going on inside his head and still don't, such as why he was in touch, encouraging me to attend. Perhaps he is just trying to remember the good times. Can't fault him for that.

Finally got around to watching The Irishman. The holiday weekend was perfect for dividing into a 2-part watch. Best part for me was Al Pacino. Always enjoyed him. But yeah, the whole movie is good. Highly recommended.
