When I first moved to SoCal and saw the diversity including so many cute Asian men, this one fellow kept reminding me that some Asian guys only want to be with Asians. Hadn't thought about that. The book has so many more interesting characters than the movie. To think that Aciman's new work will be limited to a movie novel leaves me worried.
