1. Another way to foster a dog's health is avoid giving them human food, and keep their weight down. A dog should have a waist. That's how my Vet advised me when telling me to cut back on our dog's groceries.
2. A rescue, nearly 1 year old. My first was a girl, and girls are trouble, let me tell you. The 2nd time at the drive through she nearly jumped through to see where the hamburgers were coming from. The time she pushed the car door open when trying to load the groceries and she ran off to find her own way into the store that I'd left her for earlier. She knew he was high maintenance already, so never failed to tease her brother. How she loved getting a rise out of him. She would never give me a kiss, even turned her head the other way, when I asked for one. Mind games, her forte. Knowing when she gave you a start, did her heart good. But inside, there was still a heart of gold. Anyone that was smitten with me, she warmed up to immediately. Somehow she knew. Never bit anyone. Playful. Could catch a frisbie on the fly. Was a beautiful and sleek animal. Too smart for my own good. After all these years I still get a lump in my throat thinking about my girl.
3. I'll see him again. I like his look. He did seem sweet and yes, English is not good. I've tried some small talk but do not push it. His current place has nice ambience. He moved after the first time I saw him. He removed his shorts for my appointment.
4. ....and so I was about as wrong as I could be.
5. Wasn't there a foreshadowing of it just before, that it was D.T.? It happened so fast. We shall see.
6. Why did Dickon Tarly save Jaime? Any speculation? A burning desire for his love? Born hero? Some political strategy? I don't know, but wonder about it.
7. The Mike Flower Pops version made my day. Love that! Definitely groovy. The 3 backup singers are something special.
8. Jim Parson was on the My Favorite Song radio show this morning and shared a feast of great songs from Judy Garland to the Beach Boys. He is a Steely Dan fan and really goes for Dirty Work. That jogged my memory that another group had done it, a cover I'd heard before hearing the original and loved a lot. I needed to Google it to remember it was Pointer Sisters. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RYuxvhqOsWI
9. A recent article, giving kudos to Chalamet's performance, e.g. Oscar. https://www.wmagazine.com/story/call-me-by-your-name-interview-armie-hammer-timothee-chalamet
10. I've been to Roman twice. I seem to remember he was gay. Later when I saw he had a twin and they competed in physique contests, I sensed his twin was straight, from their pictures. That happens a lot. My twin is straight. That said, I wouldn't bet the farm I am right about them, but surprised to hear others got a strong straight vibe. It's a nice view, getting a massage from Roman. I thought his rate was a little high but I understand it. A lot of clients really go for the look and he looks so nice. He had long hair the first time I saw him, held back by a band which he would take off during the massage. His hair would hang forward a bit. I thought it looked beautifully dramatic. That vintage of pics are gone from his ad. All these questions might be answered I suppose just by asking: the two names, does his twin really offer massage, is he gay, his twin straight, etc. although there is plenty else to talk about more meaningful then delving into his personal trivia. He talked to me about body building, his diet, riding motorcycles, leaving Russia, working out at the beach and being approached by professional photographers..... I'd like to try him again.
11. She's the kind of performer Johnny Carson would have on again and again. I love her.

13. Though they continue to get good mileage.
14. Oh God. That made me laugh. I wonder what the criteria is for a donut to be artisanal.
15. I understand Aciman loved the written screenplay. Aciman is remarkable. I read Enigma Variations afterwards, and just picked up his Harvard Square. Supposed to be his best yet.
16. Loved Smash!! Here's one more. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9YVL8I-o8lM
17. ******************SPOILER ALERT***************** ******************SPOILER ALERT***************** People love to talk about the peach (who can blame them) but I never hear anyone admit what huge symbol it was, what Oliver was representing to Elio by doing that. Anyway, I'll probably read the book again before November.
18. Call Me By Your Name is an award winning book, which I recommend reading before seeing the movie, just because it is so good. Not necessary of course.
19. I saw Burt Bacharach interviewed by Carol Bayer Sager during his book tour and he spoke about Dietrich. Remarkable stuff.
20. I still remember turning on the TV that morning, hearing Roy Orbison had died. I drove all night released first by Cyndi Lauper, worthy effort for sure, but Orbison owned it, didn't he? There are several Orbison versions on YouTube. Celine Dion did a remarkable version as well.
21. Saw her in Palm Desert a few years ago. Was sold out show. Wonderful. I wish she toured more often. I see she'll be at the Ordway in Saint Paul in November. That ought to be a great venue for her.
22. The original was by a straight dude, asked to contribute a song for an LGBT cause. It recently was used for a short animation that ended up screening at Outfest this year. Lot of wet eyes in the theater. I think the cover is remarkably well done.
23. Was doing some research on 1960s UK and ran across Donovan. Amazing stuff. Then found this cover by Earth Kitt. I was impressed.
24. Love his smile, and other things.....
25. I saw it at OutFest couple of years ago. Quite an emotional watch. ***********SPOILER********** The Richie fans were delighted of course. The Kevin/Patrick part of the movie was superb. I own the DVDs, S1, S2 and the movie. I was so impressed how the creators wrapped up Kevin and Patrick. They really gave that piece its due. IMO couldn't have been better. I guess I'm slanted, but I thought Tovey deserved an Emmy nomination for this.
