I gave up on growing tomatoes. For years, I lived in a great little waterfront community in the bay area. Inland, warm, but on the bay. Location kept the temp maximums down a bit... usually 90s. Grew fantastic tomatoes. Delicious, sweet, prolific harvest. Moved 8-10 miles, no longer water-adjacent. Temps 10° higher, nights not as cool. Tried for 10 years... many tomato plants died, more grew, but never set fruit. An occassional cherry tomato produced sparsely. Microclimates! Those monsoons draw their moisture from the south, the Gulf of Mexico and Gulf of California, and it rides on northbound winds along the Sierra. Its what causes thunderstorms in the mountains. I was in Lake Tahoe last week. There's a huge fire burning at Yosemite, 120 miles south of Tahoe, at present. Those monsoon winds carried the Yosemite fire smoke north. Tahoe is served by Reno TV. The morning weather forecasts for Reno, Sparks, Carson City were all "99 and smoke" Tahoe was "89 & Smoke." They cautioned to stay inside. I woke up to a view of brown hazy air, barely able to see the water from my lakeside hotel, and unable to see the mountains surrounding lake. The typical view: http://media6.trover.com/T/548b302126c48d40c80029d5/fixedw_large_4x.jpg I grew up in Chicagoland with those winters, spent 5 years in Michigan. I'll take the heat ... I'm Californicated.

Not me. But I'd estimate my body mass is 14% brie.

I do 1. I ignore 5-6 users, I think. Each for a different reason. I'm fairly a certain 2 or 3 no longer visit the forum anyway. 2. I've wondered if users know when they're ignored. Or if it shows somewhere on my profile. I ask because someone I'd never interacted with sent PM with a very accurate statement regarding the folks I ignore. How did he know?

Ive wondered the same thing, although using different examples, slightly different context. A google search of "legal definition of sex" returns: Sexual Act Law and Legal Definition. Sexual act refers to any act of sexual intercourse. It also means penetration however slight by any object into the genital or anal opening of another person's body. Definitions are primarily governed by state criminal laws, which vary by state. Sexual Act Law and Legal Definition | USLegal, Inc. solicitation - Legal Definition. n. A request or petition intended to obtain something; criminally urging, advising, or ordering someone to commit a crime; offering to pay for sex or requesting money in exchange for sex; an attempt to increase the number of one's actual or potential clientele. I dont think theres any one clear Federal ruling of a sexual act, and its likely unclear and inconsistent even within a State. And, when considering legal definitions of matters we broadly define as sexual in nature, there is a host of possibilities. Something may not be considered a sexual act, but may still be solicitation, harassment, battery, lewd conduct, etc.

I missed this thread. Didnt know the show existed. Driving home from a brief vacation yesterday... Billy Porter on Sirius XM Broadway station, interviewed on Broadway Names with Julie James. Show sounds intriguing.

There were a few efforts at making DUNE. The Lynch movie, with MacLachlan was ok. I always felt they did a fantastic job with the look and feel of the environment. The story editing was questionable, but its challenging to make a major book series into a standard movie. They practically eliminated Duncan Idaho. And the rainstorm at the end just felt stupid. There was a TV miniseries version in 2000. I felt they did a better job adapting storylines. Alas, anything SyFy Channel produces looks low-budget, while Dune was better than most SyFy productions, the production look and feel was less than amazing. I remember Matt Keeslar catching my attention as Feyd. Here's hoping the latest attempt is a good one. For SciFi/Fantasy fans, I was recently watching a documentary on the history of ILM, how it made screen adaptations of many books possible. And I found myself wondering whether technology would make it possible to create a good movie from Anne MacCaffrey's Pern books.

I know we can delete a post. I've done it. I inferred - my bad - that since he knew how to edit, he meant delete a thread he'd started. If I start a new topic/thread, then change my mind, can I delete it? Even if not one reply or like on my initial message?

Ive done repeats with guys who use fake pics - he said for reasons of discretion. IMO, he was actually more attractive than the pictured guy. It changed my attitude. Before meeting him. I was absolutely skeptical about guys using phony pics - never would have trusted the situation. But I took a low-risk, low-effort chance, and it mitigated my skepticism. I'll see him again. Trust comes in "levels." I trust him to be good company. To provide good service. I trust he'll match my desires for looks, hygiene, safety. Wont scam me. I've provided some no-cost personal assistance to him. Do I have unlimited trust?-no. I'm not inviting him into my life. Not giving him my ATM PIN or the passwords for critical e*accounts. I have no expectations we're getting married, or going to be buds. I found a service I like. I trust that I can repeat the enjoyment. What more do I need to trust?

As a partial solution, Ive seen threads with the title changed to DELETED and no content in the initial post - both likely accomplished using editing tools.

Im in Lake Tahoe. Loaded Grindr for the visit. Added the ATM and Rose emojis. Mostly, of little value. A few guys asked if I was gen. But they were very young, and I wont even consider that. One guy just asked if I wanted a massage. Within 30 seconds, several nude pictures arrived, big hardon. 1-2 Grindr messages, quoted $90. And, I realized that I'm not a carefree person. Hes not really my type, although I dont find him repellent. But I like my research, this board, reviews, and time to consider. So I said no thanks, and he politely moved on. Nonetheless, sharing here that Grindr can yield opportunities, even in much smaller markets. _____ Added note: I did get a chuckle from seeing another user whose screename is: a pig emoji, the word "for", a flexed arm/bicep emoji.

Is he or isnt he based in LV? I thought he'd relocated. Asking for a planned LV trip... but not for several weeks.

Dedicated to RockhardNYC who hates aging Divas

The internet is an outlet for people who need help. Ironically, the internet seems to have the ability to find and lend voice to such people, and social scientists are now finding that social media and cellphones actually breed problems. Fasten your seatbelts. It's going to be a bumpy decade! -
Photographs during a 1 hour booking?
LaffingBear replied to + HeyDude's topic in Questions About Hiring
Ive asked and been refused... 1-hour and extended. Basic, non-sexual. Not even a face-pic for phone contacts, caller ID for a regular. Ive also had a rentguy inspect my place, touching and examining equipment such as a DVR, concerned over hidden cameras. Refused to remove ballcap and shades for fear of pics. I threw him out. We all have different interests. I've never asked for, and am not interested in, nude pictures. Or sex videos. And I wouldnt permit my nude picture or video to be taken either. -
http://thenobhilltheatre.com/wp-content/uploads/Finale_Aug18_SchedulePic-760x1024.jpg I dont think the guys pictured on the poster are current performers. If they were... I'd still be attending.

How late is too late on the weekends?
LaffingBear replied to + DrownedBoy's topic in Questions About Hiring
I've seen guys listed as available for days and days. I assume rentguys can log-in, set to "available now" and either intentionally or unintentionally stay logged-in and available.... so I tend to ignore the indicator. -
It would be interesting if Matt would take notice of this market-segment. I doubt SF would support a regular Adonis Club. But some periodic events in the absence of NobHill might prove lucrative.

When I was a child in Chicagoland, school would take us on field trips to the western suburb of Hinsdale to see Valeda the Transparent Lady She had clear skin!

I think @JayJonathan got it right. For giggles.... my response is that its device similar to a butterball turkey pop-up timer.... its a tattoo-timer. When ink-doneness is reached, the purple indicator pops out.

I always wonder, pointlessly I suppose, when availability of a guy I wanted to see changes. Originally advertised SF through today, then LA starting in a few days. I was still trying to arrange my schedule to see him today. Ad last night showed him online, but LA was removed from locations. Ad is gone entirely today. Indicator of bad provider? Maybe I dodged a bullet? His disappointment in low demand? Personal emergency? No way of knowing.... idle curiosity in the event he ever again appears in my locale.

Never saw Stryker. From my era of porn and Nobhill attendaces... it would be Ryan Idol. Only performer I ever saw fill the place to capacity. Except, while he was a draw, he was a boring live show.

Didnt see him. He was very friendly and responsive in all communications. I was ready to do it. Circumstances prevented.
