Something similar happened to me many years ago. Early internet days, a rentguy was enthusiastically describing internet access for travelers. In response to my show of interest, pulled out his laptop, demonstrated wifi, etc. Wasted 25-30 minutes. I was actively engaged during that time. But then, 25-30 minutes into interactive time, he announced "time's up." And when I expressed concern the internet stuff was a waste of time, he replied that time is time, doesnt matter how its spent. Technically, he was right. But, I learned an important lesson about retaining focus, controlling time, in these situations. ============================= Time management efforts over the years: Turn on the old fashioned clock radio in hotel rooms to play 60-min music. Music stops, "times up" reminder Ive frequently offered off-the-clock time to guys. Guys visiting town will accept a ride to the gym. Or a tour of SF. Accompany me to a restaurant... or to get their protein at Whole Foods, then eat in-store with me. I ask politely, offer a friendly service to a visitor. I'd estimate 75% decline. But quite a few have said yes when I ask as preparing to leave their hotel room in SF. Never ask if I'm in their city, and they're at my hotel.

I was in Vegas three times in 2018 Grindr, and to a lesser degree Scruff, generated alot of conracts by rentguys for me. (And that is NOT my experience when I activate the apps in SF.) Hired one LV Grindr guy, came very close to hiring another -alas complimentary Grey Goose at the tables caused me to fall asleep while texting.

Anyone else tune in for Rent Live on Fox Jan 27? Except, it mostly wasn't live, because Roger broke his foot during dress rehearsal Saturday. So Fox aired the dress rehearsal, which had been taped. Only the final scene was live, showing Roger seated, leg elevated and wearing an orthopedic boot, as he sang the final love song to Mimi. Overall, I thought it was a good performance. Thought there were a few misses, couldn't help wondering what they would have tweaked/corrected after dress rehearsal. I thought Jordan Fisher as Mark was fantastic. Got a chuckle when they held up the traditional Mark's sweater for a "oh no," decline in the scene where Angel buys Collins a coat. While I thought Tinashe as Mimi was good overall, I thought she was very pitchy in "Out Tonight." Enjoyed Keala Settle's contributions. The concert-like screams of all the Rent-heads were distracting for me, as were cast members' interactions with the audience... like leaning off the stage to touch hands, like reality-TV talent competitions. A good portion of the lyrics were drowned out by audience screams. It wasn't promoted as "Rent - In Concert." Nice to see the original Rent cast members in the live encore. Overall, as a fan of Rent, I thought it was worth watching. And my follow-ups will be to take note of Jordan Fisher, and to see if Keala Settle has released any music.

The ATM at my bank permits choice of denomination. It will dispense fives twenties and hundreds. Not sure about tens or fifties. The combo ATM/ticket redemption machines in casinos dispense everything from singles to hundreds when redeeming tickets. I dont know if the same applies when used as ATM.... but logically, it should. I wouldn't hire with a credit card. I formerly had an anonymous paypal account I used.... I suppose a sleuth could have tracked to my identity... but at least it thwarted the casual, nosey guy.

Try loading Grindr & Scruff apps. I live in SF Bay. Have no personal recommendations. But I load those apps and use them when traveling. And each time I prepare to leave or return to town, my phone lights up with notices about SF bars, events, etc. Each app has a feature to research travel destinations as well.... you can check before arriving here.

Saw the touring Come From Away last night. Thought it was great. Tried searching for other threads - surprised no other posts on this Tony nominee. Or maybe its that searching on three common words "come, from, away" make for difficult searches. Nonetheless, I recommend it.

Thought the show itself was dull. Hosts were bad.... didnt think I could dislike Oh, (liked her acceptance speech) but did.. didnt find them funny, found Samberg annoying. All award shows can run over, but this one ran way long compared to others in recent years - whole thing seemed disorganized. Even the venue...overcrowded, tables so crammed-in winners couldnt wend their way to the stage, etc. I'm curious to see the Oscars without a host. If production companies determine they can save the money and not lose audience-share, we may stop seeing hosts altogether. Im not tuned into entertainment industry, but I get a sense A-list personalities dont want to host - too politically charged, one gaffe can have major career effect, and mega-work.

I dont have anyone to recommend. But two of my best experiences involved faceless pics - one was even pics of someone else for purposes of discretion. I realized one was using fake pics when he was en route. I called to express concern, expecting to cancel. He facetimed, although it wasnt a crystal clear transmission. Met him at a nearby coffee place to be safe. I was skeptical. Dont like it, still prefer to avoid it. But each proved to be extraordinarily attractive and lots o' fun.

No. I do not suffer from nomophobia. But I suffer due to nomophobics. I suffer when I swerve to avoid them driving down the road erratically. I suffer when they're in front me, the traffic signal turns green, the car doesn't move and I see their head bowed over a device I suffer when nomophobics push their shopping carts into me while staring at their phone I suffer when they cant look up from their phones on stairs or escalators I suffer when they wander into traffic aimlessly while fascinated by the bright shiny object clutched in their hand I suffer from those who only use speakerphone, holding the phone away from their head and engaging in phone conversations at high volume I've suffered from nomophobics unable to stop using their phones at live theater performances despite pre-show admonitions and in-show scolding by ushers. I suffered when I had to turn around and backtrack 40 minutes roundtrip because a friend freaked out realizing they'd forgotten their charger. Just finished watching it. Enjoyed it very much. A question for those who know all things tv-trivia. As the series comes to an end, as the courtroom scenes close, the music seems like a rendition of the theme from the TV series The Munsters. My imagination? If I'm right, its a bizarre choice, but makes me smile

Saw him once for a $ession in SF. Was excellent. It was evident that he had his head on straight, was purposeful. Talked about his plans and determination not to waste his opportunities. Chatted with him frequently on Twitter. Genuinely nice guy. Shared thoughts on everything from investments to Thanksgiving stuffing vs. dressing. Seems to like SF alot... I've seen him about town, he posts that he likes it here, visits often, about dining experiences, and about his friendship with Chris. He strikes me as an example of someone who has successfully transitioned through a few different segments of the adult industry without getting trapped into many of the cliché pitfalls.

Our food and attitudes are definitely killing us. If we can be objective, its also a huge factor overlooked in over-simplified arguments about our health care system and comparisons to countries with national health systems. We're a society that values convenience and quantity over qualtity more than any other on earth. We dont want to eat healthy, we'd rather take pills for cholesterol, GERD, sugar/diabetes, etc.... and drive thru at McDonalds.

I met him in LV in May. Pics very accurate - all of them. Genuinely nice guy. Not a clock watcher. No evidence of PNP. I'm not in market at present, so no thoughts on repeating. Wouldn't give raves, and so many service attributes are subjective -one guy's candy is another's poison. I evaluate in stages. The final stage is whether the guy checks all of my "wants" boxes. But the first stage is whether a guy is someone to avoid. There's no reason to avoid AlbertMax/Manuel/Eloy.

Good guys: I tell them about this board & Daddys reviews. Ask if preference for posted reviews. Honor requests if they dont want to be reviewed. Bad guys: I don't ask. I share the info. Hope it can help others avoid the person or a similar situation.

I voted for it. Because I want to see vapid fools get hysterical. Ill bet activist groups and hashtags proliferate - for and against. And it'll make jobs for analysts and advisors to study the effects. Political consultants to try to shephard the CA win through the necessary national approval.... because CA approval alone means nothing. Its a revenue-generator for the bumper-sticker industry.

Its one thing to advertise oneself on social media, as interested in and open to "generosity." Its something else to openly ask, or solicit... Consider the other users we see on social media. Self righteous, self-appointed monitors of behavior, reacting whenever others dont behave according to their version of compliant. When craigslist still had personals, there were people trawling the site, reporting those they felt violated TOS. There've been other threads here about reporting someone for sneaking into a second show at the cineplex, or getting free cable. Some people are just wired to require that others conform to their interpretations of correct, and indignantly report non-compliance. I would never openly solicit on a site like Grindr. Not worried about law enforcement. But I'd expect some stick-up-the-butt prig to report the behavior, which is just going to be a headache.
