In the last 7 games the runs allowed have been tremendous, but in today's baseball, the consistent innings thrown have been amazing. (and yes, @WilliamM, I know Bob Gibson threw 28 complete games in 1968... that was then, this is now) Sears went 5 scoreless in his 1st start, otherwise the regular 5 starters have gotten into the 7th six times in a row, completed 7 five of those 6, completed 8 three of those 5. 7 game totals: 49 IP 9 runs 1.65 ERA, and 5 of the runs were allowed by their ace in one game.
