While flying is an extremely risky decision in these times, why are you siding with the flight attendants as opposed to the passengers who have an opportunity to distance themselves further from people around them?

 

These aren’t normal times when people try to move around the cabin and take a more expensive seat than they paid for; American Airlines should be offering social distancing once in flight because it’s the right thing to do.

Moving a row back isn't going to matter. Plus if they allow one person to move to whats considered a premium seat without paying for it then they would have to do so for everyone else. Had she looked at the seating chart before boarding and seen that her row was filled and asked at check in to be moved elsewhere that probably could had been done. But she didn't so she needs to stay in the seat she paid for.

If i have left over chicken I prefer it cold. Reheating does something to the skin I don't care for. We don't cook fried chicken at home either, its just too messy and takes too much oil and peanut oil can be pricey. When we do a meal I love collard greens (more vinegar less sweet), jalenpeno corn bread and a side of honey butter to put on the corn bread and chicken.

I eat out frequently and feel safe. But as indicated, the “vibe” is different. I favor local places where I know the owners and serving staff, which helps, as we often can “cut up” and know family stories etc.

The cost of food has gone up for restaurants. We know some owners of local places and they've mentioned it. Rents are next to go up to off set the cost of empty store fronts I think. We are at the beginning of negotiating a new lease on our spot and it's off to a bumpy start.
