I hope we can all concede the people who post here are in no way representative of typical clients. This is just a tiny little slice. I do get amused when people who do embrace this also want to say it's a better slice. It's just different. So it's no surprise to me the usual default is the problem is the escort. I think it's the same thinking in the threads about STDs that almost alway focus on escorts. Having said all that, my perception when this comes up is there are two different topics. First is the topic of not wanting to meet with someone who is acting flaky and is not focused. But as said so many times in other threads, it's best to communicate the desired experience up front. Of course, checking in with forum when possible can help. The second topic is the fantasy of fraternizing with a so-called "drug-free" escort. I certainly wouldn't dump on a fantasy, to me it's not a whole lot different than the straight or bi guy fantasies. It does surprise me when people here, who I want to believe are knowledgeable and intelligent, believe that if a profile doesn't include any references and the escort says they do not partake, that this actually has any meaning. It's fantasy fulfillment. Who is administering screenings upon meeting? I think people should take a close look to see if they are saying they want the second because they really want the first.
