  1. Welcome to the “ask a provider” section 🙃🙃🙃
  2. The gym is something I absolutely need to do 😉 though I’m the opposite. I’ve been starting my day with the gym for the last 7’years so if I don’t I feel off. and yes, plant daddy is absolutely a new type of gay, with no kids and no pets (because I travel so much) that need something to tend to. currently I have: - a pothos (that needs to be split and repotted) - a desert rose (that is dormant right now cause it’s winter) - a lucky bamboo - a small succulent - 2 snake plants - a fiddle leaf plant - an aloe (clippings my friend sent me in the mail that is doing great) - a fiddle leaf tree (my friend gave me when his place burned down) - a bird of paradise (my friend gave me, that I should prob split and repot) - I also have a free pot right now; I will probably put a pilea in it.
  3. And as others have said (and we say at least once a month, y’all keep asking this) how much time we spend tending to clients varies. Getting ready to travel and being on a trip it’s more. Things can also be cyclical and some weeks I have a lot of bookings, other weeks not as many. There’s no one answer.
  4. Interesting thoughts and perspectives here. I agree (as I often do) with @Jamie21 in that you have to have a bit of flexibility with your schedule, else this will drive you crazy. that said I’m somewhere in the middle. If I have no planned activities I’ll go crazy, and portions of my life are regimented (first alarm at 6, second at 6:10, gym at 6:30, etc). But others are up to chance. now about things I do outside of providing: - I’ve said it before but I love live music and concerts. I’m at at least one a week. If I’ve been to your city, I’ve probably been to a concert In your city. I also have a huge playlist of music I listen to traveling to and from your cities. - for 8 years I was an editor for Fleshbot (it’s linked in my signature). For a few months I was one of the lead editors on the gay side. I’ve since parted ways with them but I know some porn stars and write about a lot of them. - I’m in the gym a lot, it keeps me from going crazy. - I like going to galleries and museums and looking at all the art. I made my ec go to the philbrook in Tulsa before I moved, and he got me a membership to the high in atlanta for my birthday. - if you’ve been to my home, you know I’ve become a plant dad recently. You also know the place has changed a lot since I moved in and I’ve been making it my own.
  5. In my sessions, I sat light oral is fine. If you’re looking to get me off or if this turns into something where the massage is not the main focal point, then we need to talk about an escort rate. Of course this varies person to person.
  6. I really like this line, especially in regards to people just asking one-word questions like “availability?”
  7. Short answer: this is a part time gig. As @Jamie21said, it’s too unpredictable. Plus after a layoff in 2015 and the pandemic, I don’t like having all my eggs in one basket. longer answer: with the amount of traveling, appointments on a trip, appointments during the week, communication and admin, it can really feel like a full time job.
  8. Can you confirm your sources? I know they’ve had that “southern belles” sign out for about a year now. But at this point the land around it in west midtown is becoming too expensive / valuable and a strip club of any kind there now seems implausible.
  9. I agree with everyone else here. I was there. It was packed, I got vip for me and my friends. my car window got busted and car got broken into (they stole nothing). But had a great time and no regrets. it feels weird that it’s not there anymore. And it still doesn’t feel real, like they’ll post on instagram like “just kidding! We found a new spot with financial backing!”
  10. You should follow matt colunga on Facebook. He regularly posts about his progress opening both spots. For now he’s focusing on his dallas spot. So much so that he actually moved there. as for johnson’s atlanta, the place he was going to open it in (in Ansley) fell through. Which would have been great as it would have created synergy between the midtown moon set of bars, and hideaway. He’s been looking but every place wants restaurants, and the laws for strip clubs are homophobic and tailored to female strip clubs. so for now he’s focusing on dallas, then possibly Denver and atlanta.
  11. It may have to do with the way rentmen and rentmasseur render our travel dates. Rentmen is a little better about it than rentmasseur, but they often make it look like we are in a city for up to a month before we actually travel to the city. I spend more time texting “hi - thanks for reaching out. I’m not currently in [travel city]. My ad should say I’ll be there from [travel dates]. Would you like to make an appointment for when kn in town?” most of the time they don’t, because they’re looking for something immediate. And because of that, I’ve considered just posting my travel cities when I get there, since most guys want to meet the first day you’re there. it really could be that the trip was spontaneous, but I figure it’s a way to cut down on headache.
  12. Rentmasseur still shows rates in the US, with the option to put “ask for rates”. Rentmen doesn’t show them on profiles in the us but there is still the “ask” option.
  13. It’s because after SESTA and FOSTA were passed in 2018, rentmen took ads off the site in the US, to try to rid themselves of liability. Some other things changed too. If you try to put them in your profile they’ll edit them out. It’s not up to us.
  14. And as I said the last time we discussed this (which was probably last month), it’s also probably a factor of rentmen taking rates off the site and no one knows (without major digging) what the going rates for a particular city are.
  15. Considering omicron has really only been a thing since early/mid December, if most people are experiencing a decline in business, it’s more likely due to the holiday season, and a general decline that happens right now. Not to discount omicron, but it’s too sook to tell and the holiday causes discrepancies.
  16. 1000 would book some hotels (and / or flights) for some work trips.
  17. Shawn folds his towels differently than matt does. Shawn spends lots of time in hotels, so he folds them the hotel way. 😉
  18. Really hoping he’s just pulling our chain on the place closing. But never know.
  19. It may also be a good idea to search for who you’re looking for in here to see if he’s been reviewed, since many of us have. You can search by RM URL, or search the 5 digits in their masseurfinder profile (mine is 24130) to see if they’ve been reviewed here.
  20. I just heard about swinging Richards. Guess I’ll have to go back time or two. hopefully the plan to open a Johnson’s here gets back on track.
  21. In most situations that does occur. Sometimes they don’t want it, sometimes ED or other situations allow them not to be able to. But most of the time it does happen!
  22. that said, you’ll have some people that have attractions that lean one way and political beliefs that lean another. You’ll find a lot of us will just…keep our mouths shut since we are getting paid.
  23. Problems with racism occur right here on this very forum. You can absolutely believe that we experience it in work.
  24. You’re correct about KCMO - I found the most success staying in the country club plaza area. I only had the chance to get to St. Louis once. But when I visited, I stayed adjacent to the galleria there.
