I was taking a risk by seeing him for a massage. There is another thread with 2 positive reviews and then with his low rate I thought what the heck. But I think that was the worst massage I ever had none of his techniques felt good or relaxing and then he pulled out the massaging wand...I don't know what that is supposed to do but it was just as bad.  I almost started laughing because it reminded me of a Friends episode where Ross pretends to be masseur and rolls tonka trucks up and down this man's back and uses wooden spoons 😂

There are two private schools near me that have very good looking guys attending year in and year out (St. Thomas and Bethel). And I have seen some good looking men at the University of Minnesota up and down fraternity row.

I turned on the ABC coverage of the NFL draft just to see who my favorite team, the giants picked. It turned out to be an interesting watch. As the players were selected, ABC had a bit of personal journey story about most of the selected players. Many had overcome quite a bit to get to this point in their lives. Getting to learn a bit about the men behind the players added apoignancy to what would have been a role call of names.

If the date was set up via dating app I would do a handshake. But if it was set up through a mutual friend or if I met the guy out in public and we set up a first date then I would give a hug.

Aldo is a great guy. I recently did an overnight with him. I highly recommend him.

He traveled through my area over the holidays. Due to Covid, I didn't schedule an appointment. Would love it if he came back my way.

I watched it last week on a flight from Germany. Delightful.

I liked it, too. Great acting and a good story. Roman Griffin Davis was good as was Thomasin McKenzie.

I've recommended it to so many people. I thought it was a great film also. And Johansson really gave the kid room to take the screen.

Jojo was fantastic. Johansson would have won an Oscar for this in a weaker year, but she was up against some powerhouses.
 
There was a slight pushback against the film by the truly dumb with the inability to understand satire.
 
I do wish it would have gotten more awards this season. It deserved them.

So far it's received mostly great reviews. Pretty quirky movie and I really liked it. The kid, Roman Griffin Davis is terrific. I first heard of the director, Taika Waititi from the movie What we Do In The Shadows which I stumbled on Amazon Prime. I thought it was hysterical. It's been turned into a tv series on FX with a different cast and now set in Staten Island instead of New Zealand. For some reason just the idea of it being in Staten Island strikes me as funny. I think it's great that Taika not only writes and directs his films he sometimes stars in them. Why not? I'm looking forward to seeing what he comes up with next and I have to look for his previous films.

One of the best comedies ever created, it launched the career of the Farrelly brothers with dark comedies like "Shallow Hal" and "Stuck on you", and solidified Carrey's reputation as one of the most prominent actors of the 1990s.
