How long was the massage and how much did you pay? Any sensual elements?

How the hell are these masseurs STILL in business?!
Capitano replied to Capitano's topic in Spas & Masseurs
Yikes, one more! I saw him over 10 years ago and his pix were outdated back then. At least he no longer promises sensual or whatever, it was a weird and awkward experience back then, I couldn't wait to be done. While the $130 rate may seem reasonable to unsuspecting clients, it is so not worth it. RevitalizeUrCore on RentMasseur RENTMASSEUR.COM View my profile on RentMasseur.com -
Maybe he is anticipating hyperinflation?

What a great way to conduct business! If these are really their pictures, they are hot, but still absolute morons. Scamming requires intelligence, my prediction is that Adam won't last very long on RM and Dom's profile is "temporarily frozen."

Yikes, he is still around, with ads on MF (2 name/profile changes, though) and RM (close to 10 years!). It is interesting that he posts the unusually low rate of $125, probably to lure unsuspecting clients. https://www.masseurfinder.com/massage-therapists/17218/ EuropeanTherapst on RentMasseur RENTMASSEUR.COM View my profile on RentMasseur.com -

This one (usually but not always "Blake in Chicago") is an even bigger mystery! I saw him over 10 years ago in Chicago and his pix were outdated even back then. Catty personality, awful massage, lame sensuality... and notice that "sweet spot" $160 rate again. BTW, he is American, scamming is an equal opportunity craft 😉 https://www.masseurfinder.com/massage-therapists/285/ -
Whereas most scammers do not last very long in this business, many are surprisingly resilient. Let us post links to masseurs with which we had really bad experiences when they resurface in our cities after a long time. Each case is a mystery to be solved, have they changed or do they have a particularly good recipe to keep the scam going? This one is a relatively competent masseur who in my experience promises sensuality (nude, MT, HE) and then pretends it was all a misunderstanding. His recipe is probably frequent travel and ripping off unsuspecting clients in new markets all the time plus that enticing sweet spot rate of $160 an hour. In my experience, that rate most likely means a (straight) scammer or, somewhat unlikely, a fantastic masseur from Russia or Eastern Europe. No middle ground. https://www.masseurfinder.com/massage-therapists/44093/ https://rentmasseur.com/EuroSem SAmmyMIA - Male Escort, Gay massage - Hollywood | Rent.Men RENT.MEN SAmmyMIA Gay Escort in Hollywood, Florida, available for Erotic Massage,Bodywork,Available for videos. | Find all the best Male Escorts at Rent.Men

If they are that good, they should have glowing reviews here. This one has changed names and locations, has been around for years, and doesn't have a single glowing review here. No way am I going to take the risk, but if someone else does, I'd be happy to hear about the experience. BTW Most of my favorites don't have any problems saying that they are fine with getting naked during the massage and being lightly touched.

My guess is that the really hot ones are outdated :-(, the last one is probably the closest to the current state of affairs. More importantly, I contacted him asking about whether his massage was strictly therapeutic or whether he offered sensual as well, and he said that his massage was "deep tissue Swedish with sensual elements," with a very firm statement that he wouldn't disclose anything further regarding those. A big red flag and a clear pass. Next! PS Russian/Eastern European masseurs charging around $160 an hour are either (straight) scammers or awesome in my experience, there seems to be no middle ground. Oh, well...

I totally get it, but to a foreign (or not too educated big city or coastal) ear it may sound like some small town in Alabama. I think they pick their locations from pull down menus. If they are not from the US and especially if their English is not great, how good can their geography of the US be? This might explain the fact that he seems hard to reach by people who assume he is actually there. I could be wrong, of course.

There are some scattered nuggets of info on this one, but nothing recent, and most old threads are now closed. Name changes and frequent moves are not a good sign, but it would still be good to share more recent experiences. Maybe there was progress in the meantime? Or deterioration 😉 https://www.masseurfinder.com/massage-therapists/7851/

It is always a red flag when instead of answering your questions they try to schedule a session right away. When I repeated my polite question about nudity and MT after the initial back and forth - radio silence. This makes me think that those rates are the only part of those reviews you can trust. Indeed, he quoted me $200 for outcalls, he sounded like incalls were not an option. Oh, well... Next!

Bump, in Tampa now.

You can just send him a message saying that you are sorry if you offended him and tell him that his pix made you believe that he was open for more than massage. You can also add that there is nothing wrong with providing escorting services. Then it will be up to him to learn or not. Or you can block him back if he blocked you and leave it at that. People are people, and you can't fix everyone.

Bumping this one because it's the most recent, there are others but nobody ever provided any info on this masseur. Now in central FL, cheers and thanks!

They tend to milk local markets for what they are worth and then move on IMHO. Unless there is fraud or some other problem, both sides in any exchange get more than their "reservation utility." The masseur gets more than the minimum price at which he would be indifferent between doing the massage and not doing it. The client gets a massage that he values more than the money he pays for it, so both sides get some "surplus." As the masseur charges more, he appropriates more surplus than the client, eventually getting close to the reservation utility of most clients in an area. Local masseurs who don't travel, or those who repeatedly serve regional markets around them tend to establish repeat clients by leaving enough value on the table for them, that is, providing good experiences at moderate prices (large client surplus). Traveling masseurs that go all over the country usually don't care. They TEND TO (not all of them do this, of course) extract as much as possible in the short run. Because most clients feel that they didn't get something enticing worth going back for, the masseur eventually has to move on to a new market. That's why they are usually a bad deal, and why I hire them ONLY if I see stellar reviews here. PS It gets worse if they think of themselves as "models" and do this to support themselves while pursuing that other career that usually never materializes.

This one just popped up in Tampa, although his ad says he is based in Ft. Lauderdale. Could be promising, but could also be name change (six years experience, but he is appearing only now?), does anyone recognize him? PS He is not on rentmasseur, his rate suggests more than therapeutic, though. Or he could just be a (straight) swindler 🙂 https://www.masseurfinder.com/massage-therapists/48922/

I can't access rentmasseur.com at all, looks like they are having problems.
-
I hate to introduce this thought, but many traveling masseurs "park" their profile in a smaller & remote market while they are not available to minimize messages and attempts to schedule.
-
Many have objected to different kinds of music that the masseur picks without consulting them. I actually LIKE to hear something new and unconventional. Plus, I think that there is a hidden benefit in that the massage will be better if the masseur is listening to something they are into. The masseur will likely be more relaxed as well.
-
There is nothing wrong with screwing back the particularly nasty ones that screw you, waste your time, don't deliver what they promise, or similar. It's not that difficult to set up an appointment from a new number and then simply not show up, and give them an appropriate message 15-20 minutes into the supposed appointment. Yeah, rentmasseur has to be on their side and delete reviews because they pay them, but their "business model" is quite vulnerable and they need to understand that. If they do this routinely they can't figure out who did this to them, an you are not likely to see them ever again anyway. In many ways, this is community service. If more people did this, there would be fewer scammers.

Reaching all the way down over my ass when they stand on either end of the table, as well long strokes from leg to shoulder.
