These references have much less to do with getting old and much more to do with people being uninformed. If a person or work of art is or was significant, a reasonably-informed person should know. The Mona Lisa, Gone With the Wind, Lauren Bacall, World War 2, Julius Caesar, Tennessee Williams, and Nina Simone were all before my time. Nevertheless, as a child I knew who and what the fuck they were, because I was a curious person. When someone doesn't know what you're talking about, but they should, don't let them off the hook just because it was "before their time."

What software/app do you use for client booking?
Rod Hagen replied to Yoyotonodo's topic in Questions About Hiring
That takes me back. I remember in the '90s, at my engineering jobs, wasting hours HOURS building the forms, sizing and resizing fields. Goddam I hated that. The data entry and linking of fields were fantastic, building the forms, however, was torture for me, I have a very unsteady hand. Some of my coworkers loved that part of FMP best of all. To the original post, until the iphone 3, I used paper and pencil. Now, calendar. -
The first half of the film is a typical, and unfortunate, Baz-Luhrmann mess, the rest is fine. Hank's performance is a distraction throughout. Butler is very very good as Elvis. Lucky is right, he nailed it. And in the end you see a sad and beautiful performance by Elvis, and you're reminded, again, how golden that voice was.

When books, even bad ones (flowers in the attic, anyone?), were EVERYWHERE. -
I don't think I can make it to Montreal, but I will get vaccinated as soon as it's available here. Congratulations, and damn you :-) , to those of you jabbed in Canada. Someone in this thread, who did read this morning's NYTimes article, said we should keep this in perspective because there aren't many MonkeyP cases. If you read the article, then you know that the worry, which may look like hysteria, but isn't, is the serious concern that the disease will spiral out of control if we don't get a better handle on it now. And so the comparisons to Covid are not that it is also wide spread, but that we are currently handling the MonkeyP outbreak as poorly as we handled Cov-19, and that's not good. Nobody's saying that it will ever be as "bad" as Covid, although who knows?, only that if we don't act now, it could get much much worse. Don't know if anyone linked to this article about an actor's experience: https://www.losangelesblade.com/2022/07/01/weho-victim-of-monkeypox-this-sucks-and-you-dont-want-it/

Great Shoes. I love how the ON shoes allow my toes to spread out, and my HOKA hiking boots are fantastic.

Doing very much better. Symptoms resolved, thank you for asking. Truly, The right orthotics were the key.

Didn't have time to review this thread, but on the subject of professional critics, I read them because they aren't normal people, because they know the history and context of their field be it travel, film, books, theater, or fine art. If I find a few critics whose insights and writings I admire, I don't mind if I disagree with them, occasionally, because I appreciate the thought they put into the review. That said, there are no client-PhDS in "hiring escorts". But, the reviews are often helpful if you know how to read them. And, bonus, you can always reach out to the RentMen Escort-reviewer for details or to say thank you, that is not the case with Richard Brody or Daniel Mendelsohn (film and book critic whom I often disagree with, but appreciate their work--though I did reach out to DM years ago after his BrokeBack review, and we became friends, briefly).

I enjoyed it a lot.

Hate the music, hate that video-game style of animation...LOVED the series despite myself. :-) Great story, went directions I didn't expect. I didn't find it especially dark, but I watch a lot of anime, so my threshold for labeling something "dark" almost doesn't exist. As soon as I finished the last episode I started googling, "Arcane S2 start date?"

Well-said. Frankly, I think it's bad form to even ask that question on a public forum without adding "send details only via PM please."

I used to go to The Raven spa in Silverlake a few times every year. If Nikom and/or Chai are still working there, they are both absolutely fantastic Thai Thai-Masseurs. NO EXTRAS at The Raven, this is a perfect non-erotic Thai Massage https://theravenspa.com/

I have a VAST collection of porno films from the 70s. It doesn't creep me, but it does bum me, out when I look up the creators and stars of the films on https://gayeroticvideoindex.com/ and read that they died in the early 90s or late 80s. Stupid fucking disease, all these creative beautiful men, all they wanted was to share their fucking with the world. I'm glad to own a piece of their legacies, but I dearly wish more of these men were here, now, in their 70s and 80s, getting the admiration they deserve.

Can Older Men Still Have Quality Experiences?
Rod Hagen replied to + Lucky's topic in Questions About Hiring
Lucky, the original poster, is presumably in his 70s now, or nearly, given his reference points in other posts, so in this case assume we are defining "older" as 65 and up. -
Oh, I see the eggs don't go up the ass, they go over the dick. Sounds like something I'm gonna try. Take a look at the links I put in above, especially the last two. I know they are expensive, but they are VERY worth it, and the company is a very good, responsive, company. Enjoy! Here is their Website https://www.wedoltoys.com/collections/male-masturbation?spm=..index.header_1.1

Got it. Thank you. I'm still morbidly curious about the Eggs. :-)

WOW.

I was totally unfamiliar with these toys, and the website seems, at first glance, to be a bit coy about how to use the products. So, the cups go over the dick and the eggs go in the ass, is that right? If that's the case, are the cups automated at all, or are they "self" powered, and how do folks go about not losing the eggs!?

Don't know if you read the article yesterday, but Elizabeth Purcell talked about just that: In what shape is queer cinema now? It’s remarkable that queer cinema has grown into this gigantic ecosystem of filmmaking. But I want more. I want trans filmmakers to make the films they want to make. I want to see filmmakers push boundaries. Queer cinema should be more than just X film but make it gay — thriller but make it gay or horror film but make it gay. I want to see what’s next. https://www.nytimes.com/2022/06/09/movies/elizabeth-purchell-queer-film-historian-interview.html

Drive my Car was a bit long, and very good. The main actor is absolutely beautiful.

Can Older Men Still Have Quality Experiences?
Rod Hagen replied to + Lucky's topic in Questions About Hiring
One of my longest-term clients, and a very good friend, is still quite happy with me, and me with him. I was in my 20s when we met, I'll be 50 soon. He was in his 70s when we met, now he's 94. So, in answer to the OP, YES! -
It's a fucking phone number. I never cease to be amazed how excessively SOME escorts bitch about "time wasters" and "Blocked numbers" and "Fake numbers" WAHHHH. you took 2 minutes of my day for the second time this month, and I want it back GODDAM IT!

I'm looking for a specific scene, so I'm hoping one of you Mad Men fans can tell me: what episode was it where Megan Draper prepared that uniquely beautiful 1960s breakfast for herself and Don on the balcony of their Manhattan apartment? I would love to see that table again. The way she'd set it, the view from their balcony, it was a perfect city breakfast. THANKS! E

In case you didn't see it, there's an interview with half of the Ask Any Buddy Podcast, a really outstanding podcast, see above, in today's New York Times: https://www.nytimes.com/2022/06/09/movies/elizabeth-purchell-queer-film-historian-interview.html
