Happy Happy Birthday.

Saw this in the theater last night. AMC theater, no less, surprising. Anyway, it's beautiful, and like the reviews say the mid-story tragedy is predictable and makes the movie more conventional, BUT that doesn't mean it won't break your heart. And the first half is absolutely gorgeous. If you had a best friend, if you enjoyed This Special Friendship and Shoeshine, I'm sure you'll like Close. I can't post a link to the trailer for fear of getting in trouble...again. Just google, "Youtube Close trailer". Special Friendship: https://www.imdb.com/title/tt0057842/ Shoeshine: https://www.imdb.com/title/tt0038913/ And, the contemporary movie, Close: https://www.nytimes.com/2023/01/26/movies/close-review-lukas-dhont.html And an article about the young director of Close: https://www.nytimes.com/2023/01/27/movies/lukas-dhont-close-girl.html Enjoy!

As far as I know, we, Gen X and Baby Boomers, are the first generation to complain that two generations after us are jarringly boring rather than jarringly disruptive. So there's that :-)

Posted this before and this thread needs it as well.

Nobody said it didn't, my implicit question was why do Zillenials and young Millenials act as if they reinvented the sexual Wheel?

Sure, so erections are almost certainly gone (maybe with Trimex not entirely gone?) You can still get sucked. You can certainly still suck. :-) AND I have seen some guys without prostates get reasonably hard (again, Trimex?) Libido really depends on your personality, if you're a horny guy, you'll stay a horny guy. Otherwise, it's something you'll have to work on, so focus on the things you like. You can still get fucked, and it still feels good because it's all epithelial tissue in there, highly stimulate-able, it just doesn't have the added bonus of prostate stimulation. You can enjoy getting your ass eaten. Some pee on me without meaning to, some don't. Orgasms are impacted. And of course kissing and cuddling and nipple play and armpitting licking and snuggling are all still on the table. So, much is gone, but there's still a lot. Does any of that help?

This is a masterful film. I've posted Youtube Clips to it several times on this and earlier Forums. Another movie by the same director is quite good as well, makes you want to move to Italy and make some lifetime friends: As of now, I don't think it's available for streaming anywhere. You can Torrent it. OR, much much better, you can order the DVD and own it for life: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00008ZZ8U?tag=letterboxd-20&linkCode=ogi&th=1&psc=1&language=en_US

There are some LA providers who stay put for decades :-)

If IF you lose your prostate, I want you to know that I have had sex with many many men who no longer have prostates, and there is a sex life afterward. A different sex life, but a sex life. And with or without a prostate you will always be able to give and receive affection, and give and receive sexual attention.

The Gen Z hubris makes me shake my head. Really? Really? Same sex relationships have existed since the beginning of animal, then human, life, but you, you progressive darlings, you are the age of fluidity? Right.

Read it. Loved it. Enjoy!

I found none of it funny. I find the story behind it's publication sad and beautiful. Everything in it intended to make me laugh fell flat for me (and my friend). It seemed overpraised, not-literary, and I must be wrong because it is beloved. Oh well.

you're there at the right time of year. There's an Aman Resort in Laos, you should stop by there. Marriage: Congratulations! That will be wonderful for you both. Well, there goes my argument :-) Regarding Geffen, yes back to the OP, I just received this book and my understanding is that this beautiful man was in a relationship with David for some time and that he did Kiss and tell. I'm in the middle of a few other books, so it will be a while until I get to it, but I'm excited to read it. He was the star of Track Meet, which is a '70s porn I quite like. https://www.amazon.com/dp/1569801185?psc=1&ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_product_details https://www.xvideos.com/video64413465/track_meet_1976_complete_movie

I love you and your partner Unicorn. The reason people see relationships between rich man, A, and poor man, B, as inequitable, is because of the answer to the question "where would each one be if Man A pulled out?" The rich man would grieve in his hot tub, and the poor man would scramble to, well frankly, survive. Looks and youth are not accepted by Citibank, nor clinics, nor Car or Apartment Lessors, as currency. Only currency is accepted as currency, which the rich man can use to wipe his tears. (Enjoy Angkor Wat!)

I'm glad you enjoyed it, such a beloved book. I've only met one other person who hated it as much as I did, so he and I must be giant grumps.

I forgot about this movie thank you!

One thing that people should keep in mind BEFORE reading Proust, is that it's ok to skip parts. If you find it too daunting to read every beautiful word, just remember that you don't have to. Same goes for Moby Dick. People love to complain about the long detailed, gross, and boring "whaling" sections. Well, if you don't like the whaling bits, don't read them.

There is truth in what you say about compliments and fast cash, and yet if there's something exceptional about you that you imagine might be difficult for some providers to work through, I would recommend the opposite of what you recommend. Look for providers who've been doing this awhile and have a reputation for pleasing heavy men, men who are 70 years old+, and men living with disabilities. Most of those providers will be 35 years old or older, and of course if you can only enjoy being with young men, that will not work for you.

Providers who are not into "kissing"
Rod Hagen replied to Marc in Calif's topic in Questions About Hiring
I blame them. -
Again, according to the two Spain pharmacists and the Spain Doctor I spoke with over Telemedicine while in Spain, yes Paxlovid is unavailable to outpatients in Spain. As I said, it makes no sense to me.

Going ice skating after a falling and hurting my knee?
Rod Hagen replied to + FreshFluff's topic in Men's Health
I asked myself why my first reaction was to tell the OP "Go for it!"? Of course he shouldn't. But I know I've pushed through many injuries because momentum and money pull me forward. Twice on day one of expensive SnowBoard trips I broke some ribs, and just had to power through the rest of the week. And on a Mountain bike trip in Crested Butte I chipped my elbow on the first ride of the first day, but no way I was going to sit on the couch all week. I guess the difference is with the broken ribs and chipped elbow, I wasn't putting additional strain on the affected areas to the degree the OP would by ice skating on an injured knee. I certainly wouldn't snowboard on an injured knee, or climb with pulled finger tendons. -
I think of The Amazing Adventures of Kavalier & Clay as one of the last Novels men, gay and straight, read and enjoyed and discussed. The Road and The Corrections were maybe the very very last successful, male, literary books.

This gay book got a very good review today: https://www.nytimes.com/2023/01/03/books/review/the-new-life-tom-crewe.html

If constipation, not dietary fiber, is your main concern, there is NOTHING that works as well as daily Magnesium Citrate. Absolutely nothing. Not Metamucil, not citrucil, not Miralax. Find the dose of MC that works best for you, and your daily battle will disappear.
