I'm not disagreeing with you, I didn't know this. I never really followed Bomer, too attractive to be of interest to me, or too classically attractive I guess, but I thought he was always out, I guess I was wrong. IMDBing him now, wasn't he out the entire run of White Collar? (which I didn't watch)

Obama loved it. It's been in my Kindle since it came out....Sci Fi, even the best of it, is something I need to be pulled into reading, kicking and screaming. When I do read it, I'm sure I'll love it!

How long do you wait for a provider to respond?
Rod Hagen replied to Your Man in Arlington's topic in Questions About Hiring
I get that in your experience if he doesn't respond in 2-3 hours he's not likely to, not that I can explain why that might be, I don't understand the last part of that sentence, nor the next graph. The escorts who respond in SHORTEST order in your experience prove more "worth it" because why? What is it, apart from the obvious of being constantly on-call call boys, that makes them seem best DURING THE SESSION as opposed to those (of us) who are on our own time? -
Thank you. Forgot about this one. Just finished it. Interesting. Since I was already on his side, I wish he wasn't compelled to spend 1/3 of the book defending himself . Movie and life stuff was great. NYtimes review was shit.

How long do you wait for a provider to respond?
Rod Hagen replied to Your Man in Arlington's topic in Questions About Hiring
No No. Absolutely not. Glad you asked. I don't know if I'm arrogant....ok, I do know that I'm arrogant :-) And so if I get a message from someone, if they dont' say they are simultaneously reaching out to many, I assume they want me specifically, for whatever crazy reason :-) But if they say their window is short and so they are messaging multiple people RIGHT NOW then I know I'm one of many. Does that make sense Apple? -
You type fast! :-) I changed my post a bit in the short time it took you to reply, please look above and see. Ok, sorry to hijack thread.

Fine then, wise-ass, indentured servant. You know this is not a standard business, that this is not the same as hanging Sheet-rock, right? That the person your gagging with your cock is an actual person and the intimacy that the job entails makes both of you, not just you, vulnerable and insecure, right? Be kind. Be gentle in how you talk about us. After all, how would you feel if your son were an escort and people talked about him in the same, entitled, you-will-do-what-I demand tone you seem to prefer because it's "a job"?

Most Annoying Masseur Behavior You've Experienced
Rod Hagen replied to + Just Chuck's topic in Questions About Hiring
Which is why I (I know you weren't responding to my post) said "almost". If you are searching for, and finding, professionally trained masseurs who also offer sensual and/or erotic massage, you are doing your homework. Way to go! Even though you are likely disappointed occasionally, I have no doubt that your diligence stacks the deck/dick in your favor. The majority of people who hire masseurs don't sound as if they are looking for credentials. They are being led by their dicks, and then feeling bad, which is understandable, when the nonprofessional behaves nonprofessionally. I also blame masseurs for simply not thinking this fully through. If you are a licensed masseur BUT you offer erotic/sensual massage, don't mention your license in your ads or to your clients who aren't yet close friends. You are putting your license at risk, stay silent. However, you can say that you are certified. If you aren't specific as to which organization certified you, and you don't use your real name nor list what spas or facilities you might work at, there's really no risk (as long as your ad does not include face). Better yet, and perfectly both vague and honest, advertise as "professionally-trained." Problem solved. Oh if only everyone were as smart as I am :-) -
My very close friend who passed away this last summer at 84 reported that at 82 his Morning woods pretty much ended. He certainly was able to get erections at other times of day or night, but the reflexive morning ones were gone.

When I was in my earliest 30s, I offered a discount ($150 vs. $220) to clients 18-25 years old. It was a tactic in an overall strategy to obtain more clients. I figured being 31, I wasn't old enough to be a daddy, but could certainly fill an "older/wiser" sibling role. It worked! And it was fun because these were guys who otherwise would not have had the experience (it was the "discount" that pulled them in), I felt fortunate to have come up with something both opportunistic and supportive. Speaking of tactics. If there are escorts in whom you are interested, but in their ads or reputations they seem to discriminate, keep an eye on them. Escorting is a BIG step, and for some new escorts it might just be what they need to do to that feel ok with it. If they continue to escort, their requirements will almost certainly shift as they become more comfortable, happy with, the job. If they retire quickly, they likely didn't enjoy escorting and you dodged a bullet.

Initially, tell the provider you are also reaching out to other providers. -
Pushiness about Estimated Time Arrival (E.T.A.) ?
Rod Hagen replied to marylander1940's topic in Questions About Hiring
Oh I totally get that. Even though I bought the very first iPhone AND I wear an Apple Watch Ultra daily, I just forget to look at my phone, in life, and people will say "What the fuck, I've been texting you...?" -
Two things are true, based on an apparently honestly reported account, MaxME in SF/LA/NYC behaved poorly. Also, NewDad, you are being reductive and we're not your fucking slave. Good people have requests and expectations. Assholes have demands.

Most Annoying Masseur Behavior You've Experienced
Rod Hagen replied to + Just Chuck's topic in Questions About Hiring
Most complaints in this thread concern unprofessional behavior, yet almost no poster is willing to hire professional masseurs. -

'Feud: Capote vs The Swans' premieres January 31 on FX

If you watch his interview w/David Susskind I think Truman seems like very interesting company: -
The two posts were related to a book I had recommended, seems a reasonable aside. Asking people to not deviate briefly and potentially helpfully onto a parallel subject seems excessive, even controling.

Very glad you liked it. Yes, the ending is a slap upside your heart and brain; I mentioned the movie in this thread because we are talking about parents and lost parents.

I know this is the Literature thread, but such a literary show. I'm on S3 now in my rewatch and although I'm not there yet, I'm terrified of this conclusion to S3E8 "I, Ryan Ray, released the MacMillan Utility source code. I acted alone. No one helped me, and no one told me to do it. I did this because security is a myth. Contrary to what you might have heard, my friends, you are not safe. Safety is a story. It’s something we teach our kids (children--RH) so they can sleep at night, but we know it’s not real. Beware baffled humans, beware of false prophets who will sell you a fake future of bad teachers, corrupt leaders and dirty corporations. Beware of cops and robbers… the kinds that rob your dreams. But most of all, beware of each other, because everything’s about to change. The world is going to crack wide open. There is something on the horizon. A massive connectivity. The barriers between us will disappear, and we’re not ready. We’ll hurt each other in new ways. We’ll sell and be sold. we’ll share (expose--RH) our most tender selves only to be mocked and destroyed. We’ll be so vulnerable, and we’ll pay the price. We won’t be able to pretend that we can protect ourselves anymore. It’s a huge danger, a gigantic risk, but it’s worth it, if only we can learn to take care of each other, then this awesome, destructive new connection won’t isolate us. It won’t leave us in the end so… totally alone. " Gorgeous writing, shot stunningly.
