I’m going to admit I went from 5’8” 250 to now 180ish over acouple years now.  I got serious about working out back in December which got me from 205 to 180.  It’s been a journey.

Look into GLP-1 coverage with your doc.  One of my docs pretty much told me he’d endorse it with my primary care.  That took me from 250 to 205 with some discipline required on my part too.

The next bump in weight loss came with gym time.  My goal is lower bf %, and my frame can put on weight. Combine that with TRT, I had some synthetic youth advantage there for muscle gain. That’s not your goal.  That’s okay.

    Where to start?
Appetite control - look into GLP-1  they make a cheaper pill form that has some limitations, but it’s accessible.
Start tracking your food intake. $20 for ChatGPT helps me.  I take pics of food labels, I have a running chat that tracks my food with my goals.  ChatGPT surprisingly decent at it.

Exercise - walking that’s it.  Don’t go nuts with it. Try to work up to 10k steps.  Movement is key.  Do not attempt running - walking beats running especially for bigger folks.  You don’t need to beat up your joints.  If you have an Apple Watch, it will track your activity.

Movement - get up for 5 minutes every waking hour.  Deskjob is a modern killer.  Apple Watch will also remind you here too.

Good luck, get started and stay consistent.
When you start to slip, get back on track.
when you don’t feel like doing the work, start a 5 minute walk.
after you eat, walk for 10 minutes

if you have regular gogo boy in your life, tell them you are trying to lose weight.  When they notice, you will end up using that motivation.
Some of the GoGo boys at the Lucky Horseshoe are my personal cheering section.

I didn’t think providers would end up being in my cheering section, but they show up with genuine compliments.  Yes, there’s a financial stake in flattering you, but seriously you know when you put in the work and deserve it.  It’s nice to hear it from all walks.

Your friends will encourage you as well.  Hearing it from someone you want to see naked though, that motivates!

I lost almost 60lbs in the past eight months and have gained some muscle as well. My goals are a standard fit gym bro look, lol.
Just to preface, everyone's bodies, habits, lifestyles are different so what worked for me, might not work for you but I found the following helpful:
Calculate how many calories your body needs to maintain, lose, or gain weight first. There are many online calculators that can give you a rough idea. That's your starting point. Be okay eating the same food everyday, it makes the process smoother and you're less likely to fall off the wagon.  Meal prep (related to the one above). You'll have less decision fatigue. Choose meals that are easy to prepare.  Input your calories into MyFitnessPal or some sort of calorie tracking app. You need to know how much you're eating in order to lose the weight. Be okay with being hungry. This will be tough, especially in the beginning. Gym x 3 to 4 times a week. You don't need to lift too heavy if you're looking for a more feminine look, but doing some lifting will tone your body up as the fat drops off. There are plenty of online programs you can follow. You don't need to spend hours in the gym, usually 45 minute session will do.  If you're going to have a "cheat" meal, make it one with friends or family and limit it to only ONE meal (not day) per week.  You will see results if you're consistent with it, but you have to track and continue to do this and to maintain this. This is a lifestyle change.

There’s another Show Boys shows coming up on July 29th Wednesday night.

Should be a good line-up for some entertainment.  They’re doing a Heroes theme.  Acouple of my favorites will be there as well.

Just going to roll this little grenade.

Some of the holier than thou - lack of empathy - the law is the law types - if you are on the other side of the transaction, you can just as easily fall into this detention trap as well.  Just because we have reached a certain age with some greying hair won’t matter a bit if some drunk on power border official in the US decides it’s time to ruin / embarrass a gay man’s life. Some AI system has finally linked your signal/telegram chat to your cell phone or home wifi IP address, flagging your identity as engaged with SW’rs too.

At this point in my life, I know I stand with SW’ers because I’m part of their community. A good number of my fellow men of a certain age have come into this life late in life, and don’t have the experiences of being called a f@ggot while leaving a gay bar in their teens or 20s. Once you realize you’re part of the same marginalized community, you’ll be better prepared to deal with indignities that will be coming our way should these abuses of power continue.

Your age, net worth, social status, what you think are your rights in the comfort of your own home won’t matter when you face a windowless room and no access to your smart phone or legal counsel.  Add to this if you are detained on unrelated business travel or with family, you just want to continue on with your trip, convincing yourself you can explain away there was a case of mistaken identity etc.

Y’all better start extending some grace and flexing our collective privilege to refocus efforts on actual non-consensual / violent crime rather than some pissant fishing expeditions for some power tripping officers punching downwards.  Today, it’s some twink, fem boy, circuit queen.  Tomorrow it can just as easily be embarrassing / inconveniencing the <insert your insecurity about your age / hiring status / weight etc here> because some border agent/ police officer felt like it.

All depends on how you know it’s their bday and your arrangement with them.

If they told you their bday such as if you booked airfare for them, I think a happy bday text would be appreciated. But again, your mileage may vary.  Small gift also goes a long way.

I lucked into taking a masseur out to dinner after a session and it was his bday weekend.  That was a nice bit of coincidence and happy to have done so.  He’s good company.

BeamerBikes got a reaction from Jacob_b in How would you know if a dancer would come to your place?
It’s been said before in the forums.  It bares repeating.
    Hire escorts.
Get a massage from a masseur.
    Tip your Go-Go dancers.

it’s tricky to pick up a go-go all my success has been after multiple nights of interaction. Exception being if I know they have an ad on RentMen.  Picking up a go-go after a shift is sometimes a long shot as well.  They are getting off of a shift at work, and may need to prepare before your time.

All that being said, show interest with tips and conversation.  If it appears to going well after 15-30 min, you can always directly ask if they’d be interested in meeting up at your hotel.  Be prepared to get a brush off (at best), continued teasing expectation of tips/lap dances can drain your balance fast and there’s no guarantee they’ll perform as expected.

Escorts / Masseurs / Gogo’s  all have different job profiles.  It’s rare to find someone versed in even 2 of those 3.  If you want to pick up an escort but want some face time, ask for FaceTime or offer to meet up for drinks before hand.

I’m not crazy about ibonds only because I grew up with the savings bonds and it was a pain in the butt to redeem paper ones.  Old promises that I wouldn’t do savings bonds when I got older.  Now, I view them as something to park near term cash for peace of mind without thinking I’m losing to inflation.

The short answer is I-Bonds will pay more than CD's when inflation is hot. I-Bonds right now if you bought one today are paying 4.26% interest. Come this Fall it looks like that rate will climb 1 or 2 percentage points, possibly even more. Check this out:
    Q&A on I Bonds | Treasury Inflation-Protected Securities
There is also little risk with I-Bonds because even if inflation would crash you can't lose any money. The worst that can happen is you'd earn 0% interest.
