  1. I had no intention of watching the Oscars - but the slap heard 'round the world cued me in REAL quick. Honestly, to me this was the best thing to happen to the Oscars since Kevin Hart told them to fuck off. I'd rather the Governor's Awards broadcasted instead of this garbage. I've always adored and admired Will Smith and his family, so I felt several ways about this when I saw it. I was shocked when Chris made the joke about her alopecia hair that she has been open and vulnerable about - and when I saw her face I was disgusted. I was just as shocked when he bitch slapped that fool on live television without missing a step. On the one hand, it was heartwarming that this upset (someone as gentle and well composed as) Will Smith to the point of a single, intentional slap. That might not be love in a good way, but that's love. On the other hand, it was not a good idea and no less rude than Chris Rock's joke. Part of me thought, "Oh, Will! What were you thinking?" And honestly, this is what I wish Beyoncé and/or Taylor Swift would have done to Kanye when hijacked her award. Would we be mad at them? Maybe because Kanye is mentally ill but probably not because we all love to hate Kanye. I do not think anyone should sue anyone or have to go on tv or tour to talk about it. I imagine they will be fine and do just that. This is my favorite reaction shot from the slap heard around the world:
  2. The #PNP on his profile is a red flag for me - but that's just me
  3. Gonorrhea and chlamydia spread just as easily between the mouth and the genitals - and possibly more so to/from your throat. BJs and rimming without condoms or dental dams is just as unsafe as anal/vaginal sex without a condom, and using spit as lube is just as risky. You can even give your own junk STIs if you jerk off with your spit! Just a friendly reminder: getting tested for STIs means blodd drawn, a throat swab, and a butt swab. If you aren't getting the swabs you aren't really tested.
  4. Please stay on target y'all this is serious... All this carjacking and shooting in Philadelphia is terrible. But why is no one here talking about the most consequential aspect of these incidents here? Cars! Without cars these people would not be shot. I feel like they've got to find a way to have less cars in the city - no cars, no car jackings, no shootings. Problem solved.
  5. This was a great final season for this show! Although it came across as sci-fi from the 80s or 90s (like gay marriage or the toppling of the patriarchy didn't happen before these people got off earth) its nice to see a family friendly sci-fi adventure with a lot of great Macguyver style puzzles.
  6. POC colleagues tell me its best to avoid prejudice-revealing topics with clients because its not worth the stress of trying to reason with them or worth losing future work over something that obviously didn't prevent them from being hired in the 1st place. And if their is anything that can help a man become more accepting, its accepting cock 😆 It's not as easy for me to avoid these topics with clients - not only because I'm an opinionated know-it-all with a big mouth, but because of how my race presents a different situation than that of my POC colleagues. White folk often assume other white folk want to hear about and will agree with their somehow unprejudiced grievances with POC or "liberal" politics - they also do it because they want to argue about it and can't (or won't) do that with POC. In the past few years clients have been much more likely to do this unsolicited. When offended by these beliefs, it kills my sex drive. At that point, I'm willing to lose further work with a client for the opportunity of changing their mind. The way I see, if white men were to just let each other think and behave however they want...look where that has gotten us. More appropriately, look where that has gotten people unlike "us".
  7. I would spread it between a credit card payment, car note, and student loan - and a little left over for donuts to share with my boyfriend in our underwear.
  8. This guy is a legit stalker - and that is not something an individual wants to have on his record or reputation. I encourage you to share his info here and with your escort friends to prevent him from doing this to others. Discretion is important, but it means fuck all when it comes to being stalked. Put him on blast. I use phone numbers and emails when chatting with a new client who isn't exactly forthcoming. Run their phone number through Linkedin and FB (or pay for a service) to find them. Once you know his real name, its not hard to find his address. Once you know his address, its not hard to send them a card and encourage them to stop stalking escorts "for fun" - or to show up with a bunch of escorts, a camera, and maybe some pitchforks.
  9. If you are into sex clubs during Covid, Steam Works in Berkeley is still open. And don't forget: the ban on sex clubs in SF was lifted. There will be more to come - investors are scrambling to find the right space. I'm very excited to see what they come up with.
  10. I have a buttload of instant tests for my own personal use to make myself feel comfortable. Living in California, I no longer ask for proof of vaccination because of the high vaccination rate and low Covid levels near me. I just make "sure" I don't have it and hope they will take care of themselves. Right now, the alarmingly high levels of STIs are more concerning to me - so I will ask clients about how often they are tested and make sure they know which tests to get.
  11. Troll much? Only weeks after beginning hormone therapy, the vagina starts to smell like a male jockstrap...after a football game! It can be quite intoxicating. In fact, just walking by an FTM with a strong male odor will have men turn their heads and do a double take - I've had FTM friends tell me how amazing it is to accomplish a classic gay cruise while walking down the street as a result of their new man smell.
  12. So I went to Grizzly Pines and had a blast. When I parked, I heard a group of 4 guys having and argument about gender. Yay! I just so happened to be wearing a shirt that read "Gender Roles Are Dead" on a tombstone. When I walked up to them, two the men said "oh shit". The other two said, "welcome". It was the kind of place where you find non-binary Libertarians, friendly country non-voters, and liberal Trump Supporters - you know, the type that vote Republican but insist they are "just as welcoming to blacks as whites". Of course, there weren't any POC people there because they did not feel safe or welcome. Good thing I showed up, right? Had some great discussions with the locals and it was worth all the grief and nearly all my patience teaching these guys things that no one had taken the time to explain to them - like the difference between gender and sex, how trickle down economics led us to the unfortunate state of our economics, and that there was actually an insurrection on January 6th. It was not unlike the forum, and I am looking forward to going back. After that, New Orleans. Met up with a few old dear friends and had drinks and food, then went on my own to the Phoenix. If you hadn't heard, a morality sweep by the city/police a few years ago - caused specifically by the jaded actions of a gay bar owner who hadn't updated his licenses resulting in 1/2 of his bar no longer allowed to be used as a sex club - stunted the sleazy haunts of New Orleans. Well screw that! I found a bartender who was off the clock, asked him if they still had sex upstairs sometimes, and had him take me up there so I could fuck his brains and butt out in a sweaty mess until my dick was rubbed raw! Got back to my RV still drunk at 5:30AM. It was exactly the New Orleans experience I craved. I hit the road at 10AM for Atlanta. Atlanta Pride was officially cancelled by the Pride committee - so the park festivities weren't really happening accept for a big drag performance. But all the parties were still happening and EVERYONE AND THEIR MOTHER WAS IN TOWN. It was quite magical. I had not seen most of these people in a very long time. We had some loving, laughing, and crying to catch up on - reminiscing on times before Covid, the unfortunate circumstances that helped bring our collective support of the ideals behind BLM to fruition, and of all the people we've lost since then. There were so many deaths I was not yet aware of and that was tough to learn about. But all in all I could not have asked for a better trip to Atlanta. Next I came to Sugar Creek (gay) Campground. Although southern as could be, this crowd was decidedly more aware of the reality of America, politics, and BLM than some of the guys at Grizzly Pines. There were only a few guys there, and one gentleman - I'm guessing 65yo - rolled out the red carpet for me with an outdoor dinner and a bang in the sling at the "She Shack" by the river. After a heavy rain the first morning I took a swim in the river and it was gorgeous. I stayed their 2 nights and made bank the 2nd. Now I'm in Nashville, at a very straight RV Campground - you can tell by the very large American flag they have hanging and the even larger American flag next door at Camping World. If it weren't for these very large wavy symbols, I might have forgotten what country this is! So far I've worked with a couple of clients, met with one gorgeous big bear I've been eyeing for some fun. After some FF fun with another guy I've been flirting with for years via Twitter, I'm going to get some good Tennessee BBQ and to check out the gay nightlife. I'm hoping for some hot TN bear action. Tomorrow I'm going to the new African American Museum of Music before I head to Liberty TN to see some mountain folk friends I have and then an overnight in the mountains. TN is a big money maker for me and I had no idea. Can't wait to be back. Next I will visit my mother and family in Knoxville.
  13. Dallas was a blast. Austin so far has been fun. Soon headed to Grizzly Pines gay Campground for some rural bear action! Proof of vaccination required.
  14. Unfortunately I missed the ball of twine - but I did see the "world's largest easel" in Goodland, KS! Been in OKC for a couple of days, probably headed to Dallas today.
  15. I'm headed to Oklahoma next - maybe OKC for a night, El Reno for a night or two, Tulsa for a night or two. But what about Kansas? I can make a full day of driving DEN to OKC - but should I stop and smell the corn in Kansas? Should I stop in a cornfield and record a video and just keep going? @JoeMendozaI'll definitely be in DC/Baltimore at some point after Atlanta. @BuffaloKyleI'm not sure how far north I will make it. Could be Toronto, could be NYC. Stay tuned!
  16. So we've been to Palm Springs, Joshua Tree, Phoenix/Scottsdale, now I'm in Denver!
  17. So I rented an RV and am traveling the country for the next couple of months. So far I've been to Palm Springs and Joshua Tree - on the way to Phoenix in the morning! From there, Monument Valley, Denver, OKC/Tulsa, Dallas, Austin, New Orleans, Atlanta. I am but a leaf in the wind, but that's the plan. With (and working with) my boyfriend/Pup @nathandanielxxx until October 2nd. Planning on Pride in Atlanta the 8-10th of Oct. How long I do this depends entirely on how long it can support me. Gas is expensive. Not as expensive outside of California, but the MPG are atrocious on these things. If you have any suggestions on stops to make along this route (National Parks, Pro-abortion rallies, cruising locations) slide into my DMs. Know anyone in these towns? Let them know I'm coming to town with a giant wagon of love and fun!| Looking for good trouble, Maus on my way in a giant rolling wagon of fun.
  18. Are you concerned that someone is going to try and show someone else your face picture and then a faceless dick picture and try to cause you trouble with it? Because I've never heard of this actually happening. Don't want your face/dick associated, keep them in separate photos.
  19. You don't have a face picture AND no text or information in your profile? If anyone messages you and your profile is blank, just don't reply because they have no reason to be contacting you in the first place. Honestly I ignore or don't interact much with profiles like yours. I'll assume you are just there to collect photos and look at other people anonymously - or have too many hang ups with what you are doing on the app. Even if you send a pace pic in the first message, "why is his face pic not on his profile?" is still my 1st thought. If discretion and anonymity are important to you and that's why you don't put info or picture in your profile, then at least state that in your text. But even then, if that is all another user has to work with, it's not going to get you very far.
  20. The more you put yourself out there, the more likely you'll find someone who is actually interested. If that doesn't include a dick pic, you have to have other things going for you. But Grindr is for more NSA hookups and somewhat anonymous seekers of sex - most of which would find it odd that you won't send a dick pic. If you don't plan to send any nude photos, put that in the text of your profile. Or just get Scruff - people are generally friendlier and more personable there. Try not to take blocking personally. Culturally, it is acceptable to block someone for any reason and without notice. I don't necessarily like this, but it has a lot to do with what they desire and how they can achieve that - especially if they aren't paying for the premium version of the app, limiting how many profiles they can see, how many photos they can send, and even how many messages they can send. When blocking, people are narrowing the field of possible encounters by deleting those they are not interested in.
  21. I would feel annoyed or concerned for them. Asking for a booking is a bit much. I let people know I'm headed to town or back after a long trip, and check in with clients who want something regular. Phone calls are great though - I'm old fashioned like that. Don't answer? I'll leave you a message. But since people don't check their messages I usually leave a joke.
  22. I read Siddhartha by Herman Hesse every few years. Its a different journey every time. On the Road has a similar effect if I wait long enough to read it again. I've read the entire Sandman series 4 times - only gets better and better.
  23. I'll guesstimate a busy year for me is 40 different clients. Since the beginning? I'd say about four million clients 🤔
  24. I'm very saddened by the news of Ed Asner's passing. I'm happy he was surrounded by family. He was a great, funny, and talented man. Beyond his best known role as Lou Grant on several TV shows (even a cameo on Rosanne), and his comforting voice in a variety of cartoons, I appreciated Ed's contributions as "and old-timey lefty [who] defends our constitution against right-wing hypocrites and nutjobs". He was, as they say, one of the good ones. RIP Ed Asner "Never stand still. Only stand still enough to learn, and once you stop learning in that stance, move off."
