Cash app is awesome as it is the same as Square.
Venmo is a branch of PayPal now, so I only use Venmo as a secondary option considering PayPal's history amongst sex workers.

I just want to point out that you guys are making a lot of assumptions. Maybe those assumptions make sense as generalizations based on your own experiences, but they are rank speculation when it comes to a specific situation with which you have no direct personal involvement. Before leaping to conclusions about what people supposedly know and don’t know, you should remember that people can only be convicted of a crime if the State proves they are guilty of a particular crime on a particular date in a particular jurisdiction. The fact—and it is a fact—that at least some RM advertisers on at least some occasions provide nonsexual companionship/nonsexual massage/nonsexual coaching services for an hourly fee, raises plenty of doubts, imho, about whether any given RM advertiser is actually engaged in criminal activity on a particular occasion. That’s why cops go to the trouble of setting up undercover stings operations…they need specific, reliable, admissible evidence of a particular crime, not just “common sense” assumptions about what people are up to. So, while I don’t claim to have any particular expertise beyond what I read on the Internet, I would say that more important than the specific “disclaimer” language in an ad, is what someone says and does with an undercover cop. If there is nothing sexual going on, then you are innocent and in a strong position to defeat any unwarranted charges. If there is something sexual going on, then you are obviously at much greater risk of being accused and convicted of a crime. To minimize this risk, you should probably be as careful in person about what you say (avoiding anything explicit or that could be interpreted as offering a sex-for-money exchange) as you are in your ad.

I totally agree. There is nothing guaranteed about the income otherwise.

Ask ṭo be upgraded to sugardaddy status. Offer a fixed monthly stipend for an agreed number of meetings. Transfer it to him on the last day of every month so that he can use it to pay his bills on the 1st of every month. THAT is guaranteed income that genuinely benefits the escort and gives you some negotiating power to bring to the table because of how enticing that stability is to most freelance, session-based workers.

I would recommend that you don't frame it as seeking a discount tho. Frame it as something mutually beneficial. Offer him about the same amount that you've been spending on him, but negotiate a little more time for yourself in exchange for the security that your monthly pre-paid stipend would offer him. That could easily seem like a win-win to a lot of people.

Please also keep in mind: multi hour sessions and multiple one hour sessions in the same month are COMPLETELY different beasts in terms of pricing. Our rate for a one hour session includes our time to prepare for the session, travel to and from the session, and clean up afterward. Multi-hour sessions are typically discounted compared to one hour session because there is no need to compensate us for the prep/cleanup/travel twice. If it's the case that you are booking 3-4 one hour sessions per month, then there is absolutely no reduction in his prep/travel/cleanup for the sessions. A single 4 hour session is much more appealing for an escort to discount because there is a lot less misc work involved than with 4 one hour sessions.

Unless you are seeking him for that long in one session or you're prepaying, there is nothing guaranteed about it. Robbery, death, illness on either of your parts, work emergencies - the income may be highly likely but that's not the same as guaranteed.

Whether there can actually be a contract formed or not was just a tangent that, I'll admit, I took part in.

Whether there is a contract or not, there is an agreement, and I don't think anyone disagrees with you that cutting the appointment short is not good for business. I would never rehire an escort who did such a thing. The "cum-and-done" guys are just too mercenary for my taste.

And despite what one of the most negative posters on the Forum says, there are plenty of ways to ensure the escort enjoys the appointment even though you are not a hot 25 year old muscle boy yourself. The escort's enjoyment of a session is not usually about the sex (they get tons of that) it's generally much more about the client's attitude and the way they are treated.

I don't mind paying to watch a specific type of guy. I find a lot of free porn boring and monotonous as hell. The studio-staged stuff really makes my cock go flaccid. The younger guys are attracted to onlyfans. Some of the younger escorts are wannabe film makers, and I think some of them are very talented. Why not be creative and make money from the enjoyment of creating something?

Visiting escorts usually have at least two clients a day because they have to pay for their hotel. It's just strange how they often pretend and say that you're the first for the day when you see the hotel room a bit disheveled. I usually bear in mind that this is escorting and whether I'm first, the 10th or the only one for the day should not even matter.

I doubt it does. Having a handle like the one you suggest makes it more important to find a name to call your escort when you are in the throes of passion, but it doesn't give you licence to call him by his name when you have discovered it covertly. You still have to ask him what he would like to be called. Just as you, if you chose to use a nom de plume as a client, are entitled to be called that unless you have given permission otherwise.

From this escort's point of view, it's not that you find out my "real" name - that's pretty easy to do, and I don't make many attempts to conceal my identity - I choose to use the name "Eric Hassan" because I like it. Everyone who has revealed they know my name has also asked me what to call me. I'm sure many clients know my real name and have kept that fact to themselves. Keeping my real name to yourself, or sharing that you know it and asking me what I want to be called, shows me that you have some respect for my personal life.

It's not that you know. It's that you show a lack of discretion and respect by calling the escort by that name without asking. If you'll do that, what else will you do? If you call me by my real name without asking and completely out of the blue, it shows me you have a big mouth and won't keep it shut.

If I was texting a stranger I'd never met, and they started calling be by a name which I had not given them, I would be momentarily/temporarily taken aback. And I don't just mean regarding escorting. Until anyone gives me their name, it seems quite socially awkward to just start dropping their name as if we've met before no matter how I know it.

For example, a lot of us young gay guys have a very big social media footprint. I've hooked up with guys who are pretty well-known through social media, Instagram-fame et cetera. Obviously, they know that information is out there: they're psuedo-public figures. However, I've never ever let them know that I know any more about them than they've decided to disclose to me one-on-one, unless I've noted "Oh yeah, I've actually followed you on Instagram for years." To just start dropping knowledge about them ("How was your trip to Europe you took last month? Your cousin's wedding in Napa looked really fun. Is your best friend Kyle single?") without disclaimer or prompting in our very first conversation ever? Awkard, and doubly so if the conversation is not face-to-face.

If someone is using an alias and hasn't given a name yet, that's probably not a random choice. Escorting is, after all, still illegal -- however unjust and ridiculous it is. So I assume everyone involved, client or escort, wants a level of privacy about that which they have not disclosed until trust is built and otherwise noted, or until specific disclosures are asked for.

    On a lighter note:

I've mentioned this before but I once learned the real name of
an escort I saw for several years. I much preferred his stage
name. It was 1,000 times sexier to me. Funny enough he was
clearly offended whenever I used his stage name instead of
    his real name.

Back to the topic, I have accentially learned the real name of
several escorts over the years. I have never revealed that
knowledge to any of them and I would expect the same in return.

A recent study suggests that happiness can be derived from free time to do what you like. And you can secure that by spending money getting others to do time-consuming chores. In other words, we're more likely to derive happiness by hiring a housekeeper than buying a _____________________.

    Summary:
Despite rising incomes, people around the world are feeling increasingly pressed for time, undermining well-being. We show that the time famine of modern life can be reduced by using money to buy time. Surveys of large, diverse samples from four countries reveal that spending money on time-saving services is linked to greater life satisfaction. To establish causality, we show that working adults report greater happiness after spending money on a time-saving purchase than on a material purchase. This research reveals a previously unexamined route from wealth to well-being: spending money to buy free time.

To the OP, as some have said, you haven't rattled the hornet's nest... yet. However, except for a few particular escorts, most guys have their cheerleaders and detractors. Throwing out a blanket statement about who I should avoid kinda doesn't benefit you at all. Someone I might dislike, you might favor. You won't know until you meet that guy. Just do your research if someone interests you. If you're not sure give us a name and if anyone knows they'll chime in one way or another and let you know.

I appreciate the importance of sharing information, especially to avoid scams of various kinds and certainly to avoid physically dangerous situations. At the same time, one concern I have about inviting people to critique escorts on an anonymous forum is that there is no vetting process and in most cases no opportunity to hear “the other side of the story.” This really does not seem fair when someone’s livelihood is on the line and his reputation can be sullied by gossip or innuendo. I believe there have been incidents in the past where clients and/or escorts have joined the forum simply to cause trouble, making false claims to hurt someone’s business, whether out of a rivalry with a competitor or a misguided attempt to “get back” at someone who rejected their requests or offended them in some minor way. I know it’s not your intent to create some kind of “all out bitch fest,” but I think we need to tread carefully here.

Having said all that, I don’t mind saying that I would personally avoid “Sexy Mega Pornstar Brodie Sinclair” who claims to be “Rentmensfinest.” IMHO, discretion is the number one rule in this business, and he has demonstrably transgressed it. https://www.companyofmen.org/threads/escort-outs-conde-nasts-cfo.106197/ In addition, he is reputed to be “batshit crazy.” https://www.companyofmen.org/threads/does-rm-have-a-responsibility-to-block-ads-from-people-like-brodie-sinclair.110665/#post-1041585 So yeah, he’s probably one to avoid.
