This has happened to us before...more than once. I think this has everything to do with the guy's ego and self-image. If he feels like he's a catch, then sure, he's going to be self conscious about being given service fees. If he knows that he's probably not our type but is horny and wants to follow through on a fantasy, then it's not an issue. There are as many reasons a guy hires us as there are guys who hire us. However, we try to be kind and respectful to everybody who is kind and respectful to us. Also, and this is just personal, we RARELY hook up for our own extracurricular. Grindr and Scruff are potential connections for a business opportunity. It sounds crass, I know, but we are very transparent about it when connecting.

Well see this is where you're getting it mixed up. Who said we're giving it up for free, and to whom?

And just because they're giving it up for free, hypothetically speaking....what license does that give someone to think they should also have free access to said provider's sexual aura?

At the end of the day let's just be realistic: Not all clients are going to be an escort's preferred type. Let's not fake or pretend or imagine anything different. Many clients have image and/or weight issues, and are fully aware of it. Which is good. But, And I've said before: there are clients out there who are willfully unconcerned with their appearance, so to hell if an escort chooses to actually have sex with someone who's just their type once in awhile, for free.

The fuck I would let someone tell me I can't hookup and have sex with some 20s something hot guy on an app who wants to let me fuck him raw. Is he paying me? No. But he's down to do a video and that in itself can help me make some coin in the long run...

It depends on their attitude and how they turned me down. Many encounters I’ve had from Scruff or Grindr have been less than ideal ending with a lecture which I find is being shamed. “If you see me out in public you don’t know me, we have never met and don’t acknowledge me”. If I get a sense of that same attitude from a person I will not hire them.

That being said they have a sex drive too and a type and I don’t fault them for looking.

In the end i would likely I would be more generous to a nice guy i met on an app and was sincere than a guy just looking to make a few bucks off me

The guy (the escort) is simply separating his personal life & his business life....
Would you fault a guy who was a handyman (for pay) during the week wanting to be helpful to a neighbor with a chore “on the house” on a weekend ? almost the same thing.

Neither a turn on or turn off. I would think there is a very different profile of someone who you WANT to hook up with VS someone you will meet up with for a fee. I'm almost 50, generally most 20-somethings aren't looking for 50 yr olds unless they are really into daddies. If we could get all the hot guys we want without paying, why are we here?

Maybe suggest that to the webmaster. I agree there needs to be a way for those who want to meet up to have the ability.

I feel like onlyfans brings you closer to the content creator, perhaps even offering you a chance to potentially shoot something with them and collaborate on some content. I’m starting to see it more that way. I wish there was an easier way to filter through the guys and find ones near me in nyc who are open to working with fans and perhaps be propositioned. haha.

Well, we believe there are a few reasons people pay to see what we do...or what any creator does. First, it's real sex between us. It's not staged for cameras or random scene partners. The husband has certainly done enough of that to know the routine and is not at all interested in repeating it. This model is much more sustainable for the participants and seems much more engaging for the consumers. Second, you get to know us pretty well. Since it is real sex and our real encounters, you get a connection to us that you don't get through the studio work. Somebody mentioned Gabrielle Cross doing a good job at engaging his subscribers. Yes, that part of it is crucial and takes a tremendous amount of attention. Between creating the content, editing the content, creating the posts and responding to the subscribers, it is a second full-time job. We even include fuck sessions with subscribers. It's the ultimate in connection with the "fan base". And third, I think a lot of people realize you don't get the free stuff without somebody being paid to create it in the first place. If there wasn't a monetary incentive for creation, you wouldn't get the content you want to see, even in clips and teasers. There aren't enough exhibitionists out there willing to post purely for the cause of exhibitionism.

Now, obviously there is plenty of pirating going on. You can always say that's what will continue to give you the free stuff to watch. We pursue those fairly vigorously and are mostly successful in having things removed. That being said, it does happen. However, if the content you're seeing is always pirated and the creators lose money due to the practice, then that goes away. When that goes away, then what are you left with? You're back to studio porn and complaining that it doesn't seem passionate or real or is too...whatever.

So, our opinion (and it is discussed a lot) is that this part of the "industry" will continue to find better ways to evaluate content for the consumer before subscribing. For instance, we only advertise for other creators who are in the top part of the earnings and followers. We try to avoid advocating for somebody with shitty content. We are also trying to improve ways for you to understand what the content is like before you subscribe. That's why we give discounts and share on twitter. Basically we believe that the market will take care of itself in the long run. The poor providers will go away due to lack of interest and the best will continue to improve.

You have observed correctly that there are A LOT of profiles out there now, but not all are worthy of your investment. It will take time for this new delivery method to sort itself out for those consuming. One thing we know for sure....men are fucking horny bastards, and we love to watch fucking.

It's all rather lame. I think a lot of these guys might make some good money in the short term, but is there a sizable enough ongoing market that's just content to look at shirtless guys teasing?

Appreciate the testimonial, my friend. We do absolutely enable all our content for subscribers. You see everything. We post every day, have 500 full length videos there with over 1000 photos and are in the top 3% creators on OF and JFF both. We have a lot of friends in the "business", however, who have scoffed at us for losing money by not posting PPV content. I just had a long conversation today, in fact, with somebody in the top 0.5% of creators. He recommends we drop our subscription price to entice more subscribers with teasing content and load up on the PPV. He says that's how he came to have nearly 3,000 followers making $350 a day. It's hard to turn down those kinds of numbers. He even stopped escorting thanks to the strategy.

I wish more OF performers would set up their pages like Griffin Barrows, where you get a decent sense of his content before subscribing - not just trusting that whatever's there will be appealing. That's not to say I would hesitate over the fact that Tyler's page is less revealing - he is a known quantity and I have no doubt that the content would be worthwhile - but for the more "average", less known performer, knowing what to expect is more likely to draw me in.
