While the selfish side of me wishes that you would still be based in CT during the summer, I know that this is the right thing for you personally to do. Plus getting the heck out of CT, which is going down the tubes, is something that is is also a very wise thing to do. If I did not have certain ties there I would have no reason to ever return there myself. But damn! Wait a minute! You are one of those ties. Shoot! But there goes my selfish side! Sorry!!!

Wanted to drop a little note on the forum here, indicating that things have changed somewhat in my life. Sold out on my half of the dancing company in New England, and am relocating to Las Vegas.
 
Many of you know that my Father isn’t in great health back East, so it’s a poor, shitty decision on my part to be moving FURTHER away from him rather than closer...but I’m actually trying to force his hand to move to Vegas for half the year each year as well, and get away from these winters.
 
Much like my schedule was when I was dancing more, I’ll still be touring MON-THUR or SUN-THUR each week, but will be in Vegas each and every weekend, and then some. Hoping this will amount to less and less time on the road, and more and more time working ‘home city’.
 
Now, instead of being an East Coast boy always touring Western cities....I’ll be a West Coast boy always flying East....so you’ll probably see me just as much. For any clients that might not be getting as much access, you’re always welcome in Vegas, and I’ll do as much as I can to make your experience in this city more than just ‘an escort session’- will snag you at the airport, show you around, do as much as I can off the clock. You guys have always been the very best to me, it’s my goal to do the same to you. Shifting to more of a ‘boutique escort’ when in Vegas....cater to a little bit more time and involvement rather than my previous model.

You may not want to admit it, @marylander1940, but you've engaged in textbook bullying behavior on this thread. You were patronizing to the original poster and belittled his particular interest. You then put the onus on him to not be offended by your post. You followed that up by insulting the posters who stood up for the OP, told them that they too were being too sensitive, and then threatened to harass them by tagging them in future posts if *they* don't "let it go." And in a stunning display of irony, you've accused the defenders of not offering helpful suggestions to the OP, while you ingnored that at least one of us did just that in a post that you quoted and responded to, no less!
 
It's very telling that despite making several posts on this thread, you've never offered any help to the OP. Rather, you rationalized your initial wrong by then dismissing his experience as a whole when you said that he didn't really need help because he's in a large market like NYC. In contrast, your only other significant engagement with another poster on this thread has been to discuss your own experiences with straight guys years ago.
 
We've discussed often on this forum of the need to encourage new blood here. But how can we expect new posters, both clients and escorts, to continue to participate if seasoned members belittle their interests, take over their threads, and then refuse to apologize when called out for it? You did the OP wrong here. Would it really have been so bad to have just admitted that and helped the guy out, if you could?

I'd say confirm the appointment if you are able to/want to and then ask him the questions. If he refuses to answer your questions after you confirm, then yeah that's off putting and I would take caution in seeing him. If he answers your questions, then I don't see anything wrong with what he's doing.

Escorts are humans. Agree with that. But so are clients. And to have so inhumane a response when the review is posted is the real issue here. Derek Atlas sells a product. He is the product. And in this case the product did not live up to the promise.

Trust me. Zeb Atlas is/was the consummate escort. I’ve been with him over a dozen times, most recently a month ago because I’m an old friend, and Derek Atlas can’t hold a candle to him (I saw Derek once and wasn’t impressed).

A shocking response to the review. Very unwise. Derek himself just did more damage to his own reputation than the reviewer possibly could have. I have read measured and dignified rebuttals to unfavorable reviews. This, however, is a great example how not to respond.
 
I spent two fun and satisfying hours with Derek. I found him to be a bit full of himself, but in a sexy way, and his self confidence was matched by his performance. I had no complaints.
