There are so many issues that come with advertising on a hookup app. I'm sorry that you guys received all that hostility, that's completely uncalled for.
 
At the same point, I really I hope that if you do use a hookup app to find clients that you don't keep your profiles too vague. Cause as someone who only uses hookup app to hookup and escorting apps to hire, there is nothing more annoying than having what you think is someone being interested in you ask, "are you generous." I not that old, I workout and kept in good shape, and my profile does at all scream out "SUGAR DADDY." There's no bigger hit to your ego than that.
 
I also wonder what it's like for escorts that use those apps to just hookup. I know I've had a lot of guys hit on me, to find out later they are escorts. I would never turn a guy down because of that. But I would never ever hit on a guy I knew was an escort, for fear the conversation would lead to asking how much money I have.

All the more reason you should be as up front as possible. The whole point of the app is to find hookups and relationships. A carpenter can't complain about the responses they get to their ads, when they only advertise on Grubhub.

This is why you should post your reasons why someone is impossible, and not just their names. In some cases there maybe hope.

At his high rates, I'm surprised you assume everyone here can afford to hire him once a week.

Here's a fun little thread to shake up the "anyone been with's." Who's been your impossible hire, and why? The guy you've always wanted to be with, but couldn't hire because of: location, limited services offered, none compatible sexual positions, price tag, etc.

How many of yinz have been scared of hiring someone after seeing his mugshot? May I remind yinz that part of the plan was NOT getting caught and the fact that an escort has his mugshot out there means he simply got caught while other young men got away with drugs or acts of violence.

Hey-hey now, I'm not talking about stalking here, or breaking into their homes and reading there mail, lol. If you live in or visit a big city, and use Grindr, Scruff, or Jack'd you're going to see an escort's profile at some point. And anything they put on there, is what they want to be public.
 
I hope we don't start making it a rule that you can't click on an escorts personal ad, because I've been hit on and hookup with a lot of guys who I didn't know were escorts. I even hookup up with a guy who fits this thread to a tee. He hit me up and told me he was a total bottom, and he wasn't lying. We met several times before he moved to Manhattan proper. Later I stubble on to his ad on Rentmen, and he's advertising as a top. Now if I had seen his ad first, and I didn't click on his personal ad because of it, I would have missed out on some great nights:p

Counter, lol. This is my second thread created using my phone, and my second typo in the title. I'm seeing a trend.

This is a spin off of something I posted on the Ask An Escort section. Would you be able to hire a guy how's ad say they will do one thing, but their personal account says that they either don't like that thing, or they like the opposite?
 
Would you hire someone who advertises as a Total Top/Bottom, if you found out that their Grindr account has them as the exact opposite? How about an Verse guy, who's Grindr account says they're not into anal. I want to cover as many bases as possible.
