  1. I tested negative on Halloween. What a relief. My HIV specialist had flyers all over his office with statistics indicating "1 out of every 5 homosexuals are living with HIV." That is very alarming, as I have never thought about it that way. 20% of "us" are HIV-positive. TIME Magazine and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) published statistics more than 7-years ago which mirrored those statistics: http://healthland.time.com/2010/09/26/study-20-of-homosexual-men-are-hiv-positive-but-only-half-know-it/ I would think the HIV rate is likely much higher today, and closer to 25% (or 1 out of every 4 homosexuals), and likely closer to 30% in San Francisco. Anyways, that's just for your average "regular" homosexual living in the city. If you were to study the HIV-positive rate that is specific to male prostitutes, male escorts, and male "strippers-for-hire" I think it's only logical that the rate would be much higher among that high-risk group. And HIV is hard to acquire. Considering close to 25% of us are already "living with HIV", it's not surprising that the STD rate among homosexuals (compared to our straight counterparts) are as high as 10-fold, according to my HIV specialist. Think about that. Not to mention the increased rate of parasitic intestinal infection and colon cancer. It kinda makes me feel dirty. Another reason to wrap it up if you're not in a monogamous relationship.
  2. I agree. I found out later from his fellow dancer best friend. Although I did the riskiest sex ever having unprotected receptive anal sex with a gay escort/dancer/stripper who brags about how much he has, I did start PEP 18 hours later and he only topped me for about 20 seconds. I didn't notice any cum or blood, but he very well could have pre-cummed. Also, there was no lube used, just his saliva from eating me out for 5 minutes prior to sticking it in. It took a lot of courage for me to go to the emergency room in Montreal to get PEP on a Saturday evening. And it costs me over $1400 USD when it was all said and done at the hospital with first week of drugs, plus the $200 escort fee. I get tested in November.
  3. I think the question should be more specific and ask "would an HIV-negative client hire an HIV-positve person?"
  4. At least he told you right after so you had time to start PEP within 24-hours if you chose too. You must have felt so anxious.
  5. Hi. I wasn't replying to your post. I was mentioning a situation which occurred to me during my last visit to Montreal. I agree with you that in an IDEAL world one should ideally always use protection with one he does not know the status of; however, if a person KNOWS he is POSITIVE and intentionally does not tell his partner then in my opinion that is criminal..and in some jurisdictions it is!
  6. What about escorts who are HIV+ who don't tell you they are HIV-positive claiming they were drunk or forgot (or even intentional withheld their status) when they're having unprotected sex with clients?
  7. Hmmm....spoken like a true smoker. Do you have any proof to back that statement up? Being a non-smoker, I always tip 20-25% for good service in restaurants, and considering around 99% of the entire USA and CANADA are now, or have already been smoke-free for several years inside bars and restaurants.... Florida seems to be one of the last holdouts. FAKE NEWS!
  8. I would visit the Florida clubs for the first time if they became smoke-free. I hated visiting Montreal or Detroit clubs where my clothes would reek of cig smoke after a night out.
  9. You're exactly right. I had been up for 24 hours after travelling all day and was simply exhausted and not making good decisions. The club was totally empty on Thursday night with literally no customers and only 4 or 5 dancers (the perfect time to make a deal with a dancer!!!). As I approached Taboo, I saw a dancer was taking a cigarette break outside, at which point we chatted outside for 15 minutes and I offered to take him to my hotel. He was very interested until Gerry the owner must have seen us on camera and came storming out and ordered the dancer back into the club. I should have left at this point; however, stupidly I followed him back into the club and the rest is history. This was my 12th visit to Montreal since I began going way back on May 5, 2005. I should have known better. I basically ended up giving the dancer $207 for sitting in the back room for 30 minutes with Gerry the owner monitoring us every couple of minutes. There are no curtains at Taboo and therefor no privacy whatsoever. I also purchased a $10 alcoholic beverage for the dancer (as I don't drink), and offered him my business card. The dancers response to me was "do you think I'm that easy?" and then he refused to take my business card. Granted this was before we did the lap dances. I didn't offer him my business card after the lap dances.
  10. Dances are now $15 Canadian instead of $10 at Taboo. The place was a ghost town on Thursday with only 4 or 5 dancers; however, I spent 13 dances with a very interactive dancer named "Liam"...who is also on the Squirtz website. He's a real player in every sense of the word. The weather was fantastic for my 3-day weekend, although it was very humid. I didn't like Lux (formerly L'Adonis) because the moment you step inside the place you will get mobbed and swarmed by very aggressive dancers and bartenders putting their arms around you and hitting you up for dances and drinks. I left immediately. As the saying goes.....all it takes is one dancer (or street twink at Unity) to make your trip memorable. I didn't go to Campus or Stock, as I'm not into older muscle men or jocks. If you buy a 3-day pass for the airport shuttle-bus, it only costs $15 USD, and that includes roundtrip shuttle service to-and-from the airport to downtown Montreal (both ways within 3-days), plus unlimited metro/subway AND unlimited buses.....which are fantastic after the subway closes shortly after 1am. The 3-day pass can be deceiving as it's not a 72-hour pass. If you purchase the 3-day pass Thursday afternoon at 4pm, it will only be valid that Thursday, Friday, and Saturday until 11:59pm. A lot of people are under the impression it would be valid until Sunday at 4pm. And for every $100 USD you get about $122 CAD. Anyways, I only live 30 minutes away from Detroit's Gold Coast. Time to pay them another visit soon.
  11. That's kinda hard to believe that there are no hustlers in Toronto.... one of the largest cities in Canada?
  12. Any updates on where to find cute, young, twink street hustlers in Toronto 10 years later?

BigGuy admits he's full of shit: bigguyinpasadena Sun Oct-30-05 10:41 AM Member since Nov 03rd 2002 1694 posts #92905, "RE: National Public Radio" In response to Reply # 59 As you can't possibly be as dim as you are coming off in this post I would hope you can see in my post(and repost) above the reason of the withdrawel of the apology which was too hastily granted and after further reflection withdrawn. I was premature in granting an apology to your fact finding skills.Upon examination of the evidenc provided I felt that you had not provided any evidence to back up your initial accusation. Thus I withdrew the apology with the offer of reinstatement once viable evidence was presented. This be the way was no "concession"by any use if the term. Still awaiting either the evidence or the apology,,,,waiting,,,waiting,,,waiting,,,, BigGuyInPasadena "We are all in the gutter-but some of us are looking at the stars" O.Wilde Just like Al Gore, BigGuy giveth, and then taketh away!!
