  1. That's no way to respond to Bearman. Don't kill the messenger. Plus, oviously those trolls are from Taboo and not Stock or they would be roided up.
  2. Wow! You're such a close-minded hypocrite. Don't you see I could say the EXACT same thing about YOUR postings too? Why does this matter so much to YOU? Wise up! I simply submitted links to UNBIASED reviews about what people really think of Montreal, and YOU are taking it personally. And you're not even the manager of Stock.
  3. Exactly! Thank you! Anyone can read the unbiased reviews! Plus look at my screen name. I think I would know how to spot twinks after 45-years on the planet. Here is some more frosting on the cake for those Montreal pollyannas who refuse to remove their rose-colored glasses: https://www.yelp.com/biz/campus-montréal-3?sort_by=date_desc and https://montreal.gaycities.com/bars/725-taboo
  4. Sounds delicious. I liked their Facebook page. I usually go to the Keg Steakhouse in Old Montreal where my hot twink waiter Eric works. I also enjoy an italian restaurant off of McGill and Ste. Catherine called MONZA. I ALSO made my reservations 3 months in advance for the famous Joe Beef restaurant in Old Montreal. It was a restaurant featured on Anthony Bourdain's CNN show.I can't wait to visit this Fall. I went to a restaurant called Le Serpent in Old Montreal, but the only thing I really enjoyed there were the appetizers. I've always wanted to try M7 burritos and the steakhouse called Moishe's, as well as Pavillion 67 at the Montreal Casino and a famous little deli called Wielenskis who's matriarch just passed away this Spring. Of course my favorite dessert are cream-filled twinks.
  5. Reviewed June 10, 2018 via mobile Avoid at all costs We came for for Formula 1 and stayed nearby so had to walk the street every day. It has to be the most depressing place I have ever been to. Homeless people begging for money, junkies - young people and very old ladies of the night except it was day time. I did not dare step out of my door after dark. The shops were run down and like the whole place - depressing. Glad I am leaving in the morning Show less Ask Karen C about Gay Village
  6. I'll take Paris over Montreal any day of the week! People who like things when they were good are now labelled "bitter"! I love it. Speaking of the Gouverneur hotel, the reviews make it sound like another classy hotel right up your ally: https://www.yelp.com/biz/h%C3%B4tel-des-gouverneurs-montr%C3%A9al?sort_by=rating_asc
  7. You also want Trump impeached so apparently what you think doesn't really matter! Lock her up!
  8. Haha! The same can be said about Skid Row! Nothing like not being judged by junkies and homeless. Pure heaven!
  9. Go figure! I read the same reviews and the clear majority are negative. I have no idea what you are talking about. The reality is that most people notice a significant increase in homeless/junkies/drug dealers and crime in the summer when the street is closed off and becomes a pedestrian walkway. It's breathtakingly undeniable that Le Village has been on a steady decline for over a decade. For God sakes, there are Montrealer's begging the reviewers to inform the Mayor of Montreal on how bad the village is so something can be done to save it. It would be comical if it weren't so sad.
  10. I present to you reviews from TripAdvisor and you equate this with me being angry? You could have just as easily said why are you so HAPPY. The reviews are the reviews. I did not write them.
  11. Ah, here we go again with the personal attacks. You're such a classy guy Txpaytoplay. Perhaps the Village is exactly the place for you. Just my thoughts.
  12. Just like you've been Montreal's polyanna and Stock Bar fanboy over the last decade! Perhaps the reviews for the Village have been declining the past few years because Montreal has been going down the crapper? There's a reason long time members and people who use to own property in the city have vacated and stopped visiting. Reviews (197) Excellent 43 Very good 49 Average 23 Poor 9 Terrible 12 The bottom line is 92 "very good/positive" and 44 "average/poor/terrible" negative reviews are pretty BAD by anyone's standards. Some words in those reviews that keep recurring are: "dump," "neglected," "abandoned," "junkies," "homeless," and "dirty". Don't take my word for it, read the reviews from UNBIASED people.
  13. You guys can try and re-write history and reviews all you like. The bottom line is 92 positive and 44 "average/negative" is pretty BAD by anyone's standards. Words in those reviews that keep recurring are: "dump," "neglected," "abandoned," "junkies," "homeless," and "dirty". Don't take my word for it, read the reviews (but be sure to remove your rose-colored glasses first!).

  15. I think that's a great idea. I wish it was available sooner, and worldwide. My local gay doctor in Royal Oak , Michigan offers it to his patients for full price, but at least he offers it to them (as long as they agree to adhere to the strict med schedule). Michigan offers it free if you're on Medicaid.
  16. Thank you. You're correct that the hospital I see on the way back to the aeroport is MUHC. It looks huge. On other fronts, I went to the ER on a Saturday night around 9pm because I needed to start PEP after being exposed to HIV by a dancer/escort from Taboo. The interesting thing is, had my emergency occurred during the weekday Mon-Fri, or earlier in the day Saturday , I wouldn't have had to spend nearly $1500 at the ER.....as I was told there are several Clinics and/or Outreach places in Montreal that offer PEP for free or significantly reduced costs. I was told it's "common" protocol and they are used to dolling out PEP in large Canadian cities like Montreal, Toronto, Vancouver.
  17. Thanks! I think the hospital I saw on the 747Aeroport bus (from downtown Montreal to YUL) is called the "MEGA" Hospital? It seemed far away from Ste Catherine/ste Denis.
  18. Perhaps we should all chip in for the MC timeshare condo! http://www.samcon.ca/condos/192-montcalm.html
  19. The hospital E.R. I went to was located on Ste Catherine and St Denis. It would be interesting to know if there is better quality service at the University Hospital? On other fronts, I always see that huge hospital while taking the 747 Aeroport bus back to YUL. That hospital is way outside of the city centre.
  20. Yes, you're correct that it's hard-to-find, especially twinks that enjoy older guys and/or to be spoiled. I've seen older friends have success on Grindr, Hornet, etc. I think just shopping at retail establishments, grocery stores, and fast food places often provide ample opportunity to strike up a friendly conversation. If you're a regular customer they get to know you. The first person I ever fell for was a "straight" raver twink who worked at dairy queen. Those 2-years are some of my fondest memories. I'm sure some of it depends where you live (big metro city or small rural town), age, physical appearance, dress, grooming, personality, net worth, etc. You know...the usual... I had a lot of success in Montreal back in 2005. Today (actually the last decade), not so much. To each his own!
  21. I use to love going to Sneakers in 2005. It was such an easy-going scene and fun place to go twink hunting
  22. Many have had success at straight strip clubs with straight guys (customers) after last call
  23. Sorry hun, I work at McDonalds. Would you like fries with that?
  24. It's incorrect according to who? Most every mental health professional who have years of experience and training will tell you exactly what I said: most suicides are due to untreated mental illness - specifically depression.
  25. So if you don't believe in God and are Athiest....
