The very poor customer service is what made me stop going to this spa. I had been going twice a month for a 90 minute combo for a whole year, never missed or canceled any appointment. I was able to book directly with the masseur but that changed, I was told to call and make the appointments directly with the spa. Due to the nature of my job I need to schedule in advance and not the day of, but they were giving me problems, telling me to call the next day. The next day they would tell me to call the next day. They would hang up the phone or being plain rude. So I decided to never visit the spa anymore.

Lol, I don’t know if you other regular contributors also get that, but I am still getting regularly DMs from people who have never posted anything on here. 

To those who do that:  No I am not going to tell you what happens between me and the masseur behind closed doors, why do you think I would? You never help us about your experiences or reviews of masseurs , what makes you think we should help you?
I don’t know you, you could be a cop trying to find which spa to close down next. 
Aquire some credentials first by posting your experiences, then maybe we’ll talk.

I’ve been going to spas in NYC for a minute. And I’ve been on this forum for a while.  I’m not here to mislead people. The room I had that night, was like a closet on a track and did not lock and the manager came in multiple times which was annoying. And I had Cody who used gloves. Buzzkill. Thank god he’s gone. 
That said, I’ve gone back to try again and got a room that with a door that locked! 
And I had Diego one day and then Maycon another day. Maycon far better, no tip negotiation, stellar massage and rhythm and incredible end.  Diego was constantly up charging as things progressed.

Happy I went back, and will go again. 
Totally changed my opinion - but the initial experience I had was valid for that night. 
Was ROUGH.

 

Listen I love this group, you guys are amazing, but please do not share my PRIVATE MESSAGES with masseurs you meet. A few months ago, I met a regular client who said to me "did you post something on this forum that was negative?" I said what are you talking about. He said he met a client who SHOWED HIM MY RESPONSE to a message about his work. I was shocked. I said " don't have clue and if it was negative then why am I here?" Please be careful with what is shared here. Private messages should remain so. No mad just concerned.

I worked briefly at a hotel and can confirm that as long as you're not disturbing guests the front desk won't care what you are doing. Guests come up as well all the time asking for more towels so that won't raise suspicion either.
