In connection with Global Entry - interview on arrival, I want to remind those involved with Global Entry that getting a pre-scheduled interview is very difficult and time consuming in most cases. Sometimes an interview space is not available for several months. Many folks from this forum visit Canada on the weekends or longer. If anyone is waiting too long for a Global Entry interview, and they plan a trip to Canada, there is Interview on Arrival in Montreal as well as other Canadian cities. The below link will explain the process and tells the hours when an interview on arrival can take place: https://www.cbp.gov/travel/trusted-traveler-programs/global-entry/enrollment-arrival Happy travels

Your post merely joins the previous nonsense already presented by "@LookingAround" copied and quoted immediately below: "@Coriolis888 that same woman speaking to her husband would have a few choice words to say to her husband about your activities, I imagine, if she only knew. Try and be a little more open minded, I invite you." _____________________________________ If you go back to my original post, I merely reported on a conversation I witnessed at a car rental agency concerning a male worker there that was wearing fingernail polish on his nails. Your buddy went off track from the thread subject and posted his above inappropriate quoted nonsense. For reasons well known to you, you decided to continue with his inappropriate behavior and go further off topic with this thread. Grow up and stay on the subject of this thread. This thread is about "fingernails polished" but with your comment and the prior comment from your forum buddy, the two posts are off topic. In other words, stick to the thread subject matter rather than expand on a nonsensical hypothesis.

I think you read my post too fast because you seem to have missed the point. It was the woman who was waiting with her husband where I was also waiting for a rental car who commented about the guy's fingernails. I said nothing to either of them. Therefore, you might want to "try to be a little more open minded, I invite you." (to quote you). Please remember this is a forum/site for exchanging ideas. It is not a site to try to start an argument as your post so clearly shows. There are many things I read that I do not like but I do not respond with insults to the author.

Sorry to disagree. The other day I rented a car and the guy waiting on me was exceptionally handsome and masculine. But - - - he had nail polish on his finger nails. I know some people find nothing wrong with that. However, when a guy works with the public and has nail polish on his fingers, it tells me he wants to be different and also tells me has not much to do with his time. After I was finished with the rental paperwork, I waited outside for the car to be brought to the pick up area. A couple not known to me was also waiting for a car to be brought up for them. The wife of the couple said to her husband, "Honey, did you see that man's finger nail polish? How silly he looks." I could not help but laugh at her comment. So, I guess fingernail polish is not accepted by all.

"Only well educated people message me. No timepass"
coriolis888 replied to dutchal's topic in The Deli
Based on his strange message, he has quite a high opinion of himself. As Oscar said, "To love oneself is the beginning of a lifelong romance" -
And, his ad says "anything goes" which could be a problem.
-
His one review has a little stronger wording than "not accurate" - His one review says "Should have know pics were fake. No reviews. Scammer. " Another example of buyer beware!

We are not "all mixed up" about the advertiser. If you go to my post above (five posts above), you will see that I clearly mentioned the extra "o" in his ad. Seemingly, by slightly modifying the screen name of a popular and excellent provider (by adding an "o" to the screen name) it appears that this advertiser is attempting to capitalize on the reputation of a very fine and excellent four-year provider well known to this forum.

What to do with clients that cancel last minute?
coriolis888 replied to Yoyotonodo's topic in Questions About Hiring
A true recession and later depression will certainly change the rates of escorts. Why? Countless people will be without jobs. Without jobs, they will not be able to pay their expenses. Money for an escort will be little more than a wishful dream. Again, look into what a true depression is. The frequent semi-recessions the world has experienced over the past couple of years is predicted, by numerous respected economists, to become a major recession and then followed by a true depression. If or when a depression happens, the last thing on the mind of clients will be to look for an escort to spend money that is not there. Read your history books on the depression that no one thought was coming, but it did. -

You are usually "right on" the mark when it comes to responding to posts. However, in this case you are misjudging Brazil. Maybe because you have not spent much time there, if any. In the U.S., many providers use a website called rentmen.eu. The site is based in Europe and includes advertisements from providers based all over the world, including Brazil. Although Brazil is technically called a third world country, it has a great economy and is greatly involved in world exports, including coffee and food supplies. There are many places in Brazil where providers meet clients. The saunas are only one small segment of where clients can meet providers. There are movie houses, massage centers, parks, streets and many websites that allow Brazilian escorts to advertise their services to the public. Below is merely one site that graphically shows countless escorts advertising their services. Considering I visit Brazil often, I know for a fact that providers over the past two years are not making the fees they made prior to the coronavirus pandemic hitting Brazil and the down flux of their economy. Below is merely one site that advertises providers. On the site, most providers post their rates. Visit the site and see how low the rates are. Of course, you have no comparison to what the prices were prior to the pandemic hitting the world, but the rates were higher, that I know from experience. https://www.vivalocal.com/acompanhantes-gays/jardim-paulista/marcelo-1-86-alt-86kg-25cm-bem-grosso/305119188 And, in keeping with the title of the thread, even providers from Brazil experience a lot of "no shows" and cancellations of scheduled appointments made with clients from the web sites and other sources. Cancellations just go with the territory. It is with most businesses. People change their minds or things come up and appointments are not kept. -

The financial downturn recently and currently being experienced in the U.S. and most parts of the world is not a recession or depression. If you have time with nothing better to do, check out some of the books referenced in the below link. The last real recession quickly turned into a depression and most of the world went through financial and other hell. https://explorethearchive.com/books-about-the-great-depression Escorting and most other occupations could very well be drastically affected later next year. Escorts missing an appointment because a client did not show will be nothing compared to what is predicted (financial disaster) by well known respected economists. -

I can tell by your comment that you have not spent much time in Brazil. Prior to the coronavirus pandemic, many providers (garotos de programmas) in Brazil were gradually increasing their fees. However, when the coronavirus hit Brazil, as it hit nearly everywhere else in the world, providers had a drastically smaller inventory of buyers for their services. Consequently, the prices for the services of garotos went down until the virus got better controlled. The garotos could not leave the industry because unemployment in other occupations was at drastically high levels. There was no work! I believe a similar situation happened with many providers in numerous parts of the world. I also believe that the coronavirus qualifies as a rare situation that caused a reduction in fee prices. If certain economists are correct with their predictions that a recession will hit next year, I predict that providers as well as many other occupations will lower their prices considering the economy will be in the tank. -
Just curious why you do not check for your flight on-line. This would avoid at least the long line for check in. On the other hand, the security is sometimes slow. You said you used Swiss for your flight. They definitely have on-line check in. Try it, you might like it.

I must have read your post too fast as I missed the part where you wrote about not paying for such lousy service. I really hope you did not pay considering you said you repeatedly had issues of not getting a real/full massage and the little bit of massage you had was done with one hand while the supposed masseur used his other hand to talk on his cell phone in between opening and closing the door to where you were getting the alleged massage. No good when you pay for such terrible service. You know you can leave fairly long reviews on Yelp and similar sites explaining what happened at that facility.

Accommodation recommendations for Sao Paolo and Rio
coriolis888 replied to mixer17's topic in The Americas
It might be your first and last time visiting Rio during NYE. I did it once. The crowds were so huge that I could not see anything in front of me except for the backs of people ahead of me in long lines. Most prices, including hotels, doubled or at least went up by 30 or 40 percent. If you like massive crowds, you will not be disappointed. You said your friend "dropped out of the trip" which makes me wonder if he decided to abandon the trip after hearing about the massive crowds that historically make the event more pandemonium than fun. -

The hotel you chose is in a decent area. It is also less than half the price of the Renaissance Hotel. If you plan to visit the sauna Lagoa, you will be very close. At most, a two or three dollar Uber ride. Have a good trip. -

You did not say if it is in December you plan to visit Brazil. You also did not say for how long you would visit each city you mentioned (Rio and Sao Paulo). You do know, I assume, that December is probably the worse month to visit Brazil. You have Christmas that month. Over the years, I noticed the garotos and many shops and restaurants expect "presents" for the holiday even though they do not know you. Some garotos that get to know you from the sauna or elsewhere can repeat their begging to a point it is annoying. You said your budget is somewhere around two hundred dollars each night at a hotel. When I stay in Sao Paulo, I usually use the Renaissance Hotel located one block from Avenida Paulista. It is a two to three dollar Uber ride back and forth to the hotel with regard to sauna Lagoa. Over the years, I have had countless visitors meet me in the hotel. You must meet the visitor in the lobby (there are phones in the lobby and the visitor calls you on their arrival or you set a time to meet in the lobby). You and your guest walk to the elevators where you must use your room key to operate the elevator. Like I said, I have never had any hotel employee ask about visitors. That is an excellent hotel in a wonderful neighborhood of Sao Paulo. If you decide on the above hotel, do not use a hotel booking service for your reservation. The hotel is part of the Marriott hotel chain. Go directly on the site for Marriot and book your reservation. If you have AAA auto club, you will get a discount on the room rate. If you plan to stay more than ten nights, you will get a "long term stay" discount. You will not get these discounts if you book through a hotel agency. In Rio, I stay at the Marriot in Copacabana. The area there where Marriott is located is not the best but it is relatively safe and the hotel is nice. It is within walking distance of sauna 202, if you are a fast walker. If you prefer, an Uber will take you there in less than ten minutes. If you want to save hotel money to spend on garotos, you could stay at the Novotel in Centro. It is not a fancy hotel but you will not be bothered if you have visitors and you will save money. Coincidently, just across the street from Novatel is a restaurant that has been in business more than fifty years. It is not a great restaurant but is has quite a nice selection of various and unusual items. The name of the restaurant is Estadao and can be seen just fifty feet from the Novotel hotel. I hope the above helps in your decision about visiting Brazil. -

This is a con man. I personally know the real jacobtop. He also advertises on rentmen. Here is his link - https://rentmen.eu/JacobTop The real Jacobtop is an excellent provider. As of today, he has 48 five star reviews in his ad. He has been around the Los Angeles area for about four years if I remember correctly. He is a very handsome man as the accurate photos in his ad confirm. This other Jacobtop is capitalizing on the excellent reputation of the real Jacobtop. Don't let the imitation Jacob"o"top fool you. The link I provided is the only real Jacobtop.

I think most members of this forum have hired escorts from time to time despite bizarre laws that make it a crime to engage in such an act. Additionally, many members of this forum are providers. Considering the above facts, I gave you a citation to confirm that prostitution is illegal in the U.S. Just because prostitution remains illegal does not mean that gays and educated scientists feel that the law is just or makes sense. Medical research confirms that homosexuality is not a choice one makes about living one's sexual life. Unfortunately, medical research is far advanced compared to the antiquated thinking of those who make homosexuality and prostitution illegal. Nonetheless, going back to the topic of this thread, I personally know of several Brazilians who live in the U.S. and live off prostitution on at least a part-time basis. Two I know have been in the U.S. several years. They came here on student visas but, except for escorting, they live a crime free life and never have been asked about their citizenship by authorities. They both know that if they get caught with an expired visa, they will be sent back to Brazil and will be barred from visiting the U.S. So, bottom line is that even though prostitution is alive and well throughout most of the world, in the United States, it remains illegal except in minor areas of Nevada.
