  1. I can tell by your comment that you have not spent much time in Brazil. Prior to the coronavirus pandemic, many providers (garotos de programmas) in Brazil were gradually increasing their fees. However, when the coronavirus hit Brazil, as it hit nearly everywhere else in the world, providers had a drastically smaller inventory of buyers for their services. Consequently, the prices for the services of garotos went down until the virus got better controlled. The garotos could not leave the industry because unemployment in other occupations was at drastically high levels. There was no work! I believe a similar situation happened with many providers in numerous parts of the world. I also believe that the coronavirus qualifies as a rare situation that caused a reduction in fee prices. If certain economists are correct with their predictions that a recession will hit next year, I predict that providers as well as many other occupations will lower their prices considering the economy will be in the tank.
  2. Just curious why you do not check for your flight on-line. This would avoid at least the long line for check in. On the other hand, the security is sometimes slow. You said you used Swiss for your flight. They definitely have on-line check in. Try it, you might like it.

  4. I must have read your post too fast as I missed the part where you wrote about not paying for such lousy service. I really hope you did not pay considering you said you repeatedly had issues of not getting a real/full massage and the little bit of massage you had was done with one hand while the supposed masseur used his other hand to talk on his cell phone in between opening and closing the door to where you were getting the alleged massage. No good when you pay for such terrible service. You know you can leave fairly long reviews on Yelp and similar sites explaining what happened at that facility.
  5. It might be your first and last time visiting Rio during NYE. I did it once. The crowds were so huge that I could not see anything in front of me except for the backs of people ahead of me in long lines. Most prices, including hotels, doubled or at least went up by 30 or 40 percent. If you like massive crowds, you will not be disappointed. You said your friend "dropped out of the trip" which makes me wonder if he decided to abandon the trip after hearing about the massive crowds that historically make the event more pandemonium than fun.
  6. The hotel you chose is in a decent area. It is also less than half the price of the Renaissance Hotel. If you plan to visit the sauna Lagoa, you will be very close. At most, a two or three dollar Uber ride. Have a good trip.
  7. You did not say if it is in December you plan to visit Brazil. You also did not say for how long you would visit each city you mentioned (Rio and Sao Paulo). You do know, I assume, that December is probably the worse month to visit Brazil. You have Christmas that month. Over the years, I noticed the garotos and many shops and restaurants expect "presents" for the holiday even though they do not know you. Some garotos that get to know you from the sauna or elsewhere can repeat their begging to a point it is annoying. You said your budget is somewhere around two hundred dollars each night at a hotel. When I stay in Sao Paulo, I usually use the Renaissance Hotel located one block from Avenida Paulista. It is a two to three dollar Uber ride back and forth to the hotel with regard to sauna Lagoa. Over the years, I have had countless visitors meet me in the hotel. You must meet the visitor in the lobby (there are phones in the lobby and the visitor calls you on their arrival or you set a time to meet in the lobby). You and your guest walk to the elevators where you must use your room key to operate the elevator. Like I said, I have never had any hotel employee ask about visitors. That is an excellent hotel in a wonderful neighborhood of Sao Paulo. If you decide on the above hotel, do not use a hotel booking service for your reservation. The hotel is part of the Marriott hotel chain. Go directly on the site for Marriot and book your reservation. If you have AAA auto club, you will get a discount on the room rate. If you plan to stay more than ten nights, you will get a "long term stay" discount. You will not get these discounts if you book through a hotel agency. In Rio, I stay at the Marriot in Copacabana. The area there where Marriott is located is not the best but it is relatively safe and the hotel is nice. It is within walking distance of sauna 202, if you are a fast walker. If you prefer, an Uber will take you there in less than ten minutes. If you want to save hotel money to spend on garotos, you could stay at the Novotel in Centro. It is not a fancy hotel but you will not be bothered if you have visitors and you will save money. Coincidently, just across the street from Novatel is a restaurant that has been in business more than fifty years. It is not a great restaurant but is has quite a nice selection of various and unusual items. The name of the restaurant is Estadao and can be seen just fifty feet from the Novotel hotel. I hope the above helps in your decision about visiting Brazil.

  11. This is a con man. I personally know the real jacobtop. He also advertises on rentmen. Here is his link - https://rentmen.eu/JacobTop The real Jacobtop is an excellent provider. As of today, he has 48 five star reviews in his ad. He has been around the Los Angeles area for about four years if I remember correctly. He is a very handsome man as the accurate photos in his ad confirm. This other Jacobtop is capitalizing on the excellent reputation of the real Jacobtop. Don't let the imitation Jacob"o"top fool you. The link I provided is the only real Jacobtop.
  12. I think most members of this forum have hired escorts from time to time despite bizarre laws that make it a crime to engage in such an act. Additionally, many members of this forum are providers. Considering the above facts, I gave you a citation to confirm that prostitution is illegal in the U.S. Just because prostitution remains illegal does not mean that gays and educated scientists feel that the law is just or makes sense. Medical research confirms that homosexuality is not a choice one makes about living one's sexual life. Unfortunately, medical research is far advanced compared to the antiquated thinking of those who make homosexuality and prostitution illegal. Nonetheless, going back to the topic of this thread, I personally know of several Brazilians who live in the U.S. and live off prostitution on at least a part-time basis. Two I know have been in the U.S. several years. They came here on student visas but, except for escorting, they live a crime free life and never have been asked about their citizenship by authorities. They both know that if they get caught with an expired visa, they will be sent back to Brazil and will be barred from visiting the U.S. So, bottom line is that even though prostitution is alive and well throughout most of the world, in the United States, it remains illegal except in minor areas of Nevada.
  13. Wrong! 16. This is another case of "clapping with one hand" whereby there is no logical effect. Even though the police will not arrest sex workers selling their product, they most assuredly will arrest and prosecute those who make an offer to "buy" sex services. What a crazy mixed up world we have. https://www.vice.com/en/article/akgz9e/manhattan-is-moving-to-decriminalize-sex-work-kind-of
  17. Your recommendation is an "over-kill" - Your recommendation for providers to delete all "dick pics" from an ad is quite an over-kill. Facial recognition, fortunately, does not (yet) include photos of a person's penis (soft or hard). Therefore, the only item to omit from an ad is the face photo. I hope you and your Canadian friend are still having a pleasant visit when he comes to the U.S.
  18. If he is stopped each time he crosses the U.S. border and is still allowed to enter the U.S., then the reason for his being stopped is related to some other matter; not because he has an advertisement for being a provider. Many people are stopped for seemingly silly reasons. If he has no police record, he can apply for the equivalent to the U.S. "Global Entry" (Nexus) and would avoid being stopped each time he enters.
  19. (1) How do you know this? (2) I travel frequently in and out of the U.S. I do not get pulled out for special screening. (3) I never had my phone taken to be inspected despite my frequent traveling. I still think that providers who advertise on rentmen et cetera should not include face photos in their ads. Do you remember the former website "rentboy" and what happened to the site and the owner and some of the employees? Please do not kid yourself. There is no more privacy. https://www.cnbc.com/2015/08/26/rentboycom-ceo-and-six-employees-arrested-on-prostitution-charges.html
  20. With all due respect, why is there "some privacy law being violated" because facial recognition is used by DHS and many other companies? I travel a lot. I am at an airport several time each month. On my last twelve flights I did not have to show my boarding pass just before entering the aircraft from the U.S. side. At the boarding area are signs telling you to lower any mask and look at the camera as you pass it. The first time this happened with me, I felt uncomfortable thinking that my return flight would be canceled because I did not have my boarding pass scanned when I entered the aircraft. The records could look as though I were a "no show" for my outgoing flight. There was no problem with my return flight. Technology has changed and advanced to a degree that many cannot fathom. I do not see how privacy is being violated when the government has almost every adult photo in its data base. Even photos from driver licenses are in many of the U.S. data bases. Privacy is a word from history. We have little privacy left, if any. With regard to the guys from foreign countries who come to the U.S. and also have their face photo on a rentmen.eu advertisement, those guys should somehow get word out to each other to omit any face photo if they plan to visit the U.S. Words to the wise!
  21. That describes a situation where a participant is effectively "clapping with one hand" so to speak. It is a one-way street. Without both parties involved, there would not be prostitution. To prosecute one party without the other involved party is bizarre and discriminatory. I am aware that Canada has laws that allow prostitutes to escape prosecution while the "John" is often prosecuted for the same incident. To make the matter more silly, take a look at this article about this subject: https://sharpcriminalattorney.com/criminal-defense-guides/prostitution-sting-operations-considered-entrapment/
  22. A closing note about Sao Paulo. I just want to add that since the virus issues have been softened around the world, there are some favorable changes over the past couple of months in Sao Paulo. People are now allowed to go to most public places without wearing a mask, nor being required to carry proof of vaccination. The cines have picked up a bit (the cine on Rua Aurora particularly) but the one on Ipiranga that used to be the most full, is only a little bit busy. The Praca da Republica has also picked up a bit with several handsome garotos for rent. So, if the virus stays away, things should be good again in Sao Paulo (I hope). On my return flight back to the U.S., the airplane was packed in both business and coach. I got the last available business seat and it was in the very back of business near the restroom and galley where meals are assembled and where the crew gathers to do chores and talk. Worst seat I ever had, noise wise. Prior to my boarding, there were more than a dozen people trying to board the same flight I had returning to the U.S. Every seat was taken, even at ridiculously high air fares. I guess the airlines are money happy at the present time. I do not return to Brazil until January. Hope things pick up more in the meantime.
  23. What about ads placed on rentmen and similar medias that include guys posing as escorts but who use stolen photos and false information but have intention of robbing a "client" who falls for the fake ad? Or similar type of dishonest behavior in advertising? Those events can also be classified as "scariest incidents" or worse.
  24. Yes, in Belgium and many other civilized parts of Europe, escorting (prostitution) is legal. Here in the U.S. it is not legal, as we all know. It is the misguided and/or warped thinking of non escorts that falsely believe that most escorts are involved with human trafficking. When you read some of the discussions that helped cause shutting down former well known advertising medias (like Craigslist and/or rentboy, to mention just two) getting escorting legal again in the U.S will take a miracle or a different century. I cannot reconcile the fame given to Francis Scott Key because he penned about America, "Land of the free and the home of the brave." Tell that to escorts and those arrested for prostitution.
  25. The risk of an illegal act deserves a higher fee, or so I am told.
