Earlier today I clicked on my account and a letter from masseurfinder came up - I can't get it to come up again - but it covered two topics: the consolidation of the heal and relax - basically saying it was confusing to have two sections and that new people when coming to the site for the first time would get confused by the choice and instead of clicking on one or the other would opt out and leave the site. Of course, mf created this poor distinction when they moved away from sensual and therapeutic designations. The other comment was around a change in the picture policy - which I could not access to actually read the policy despite a link. I think they are now going beyond putting a question mark on those masseurs' pictures on the city search pages to actually deleting all photos for a masseur unless they have a face pic. I also think they may be doing away with all shirtless photos. If you click on some of the profiles even though the pic on the city page is shirtless, on the actual masseur page they are gone. All more reasons to move to rentmasseur in the absence of a better option.

I agree with @Kody S - it really depends where you live and whether you have done your homework. There is a shortage of great masseurs in Boston so we definitely benefit from some of the regular travelers who visit like Rob, Brad, Ethan etc from NY. Euro Adam, Taylor and of course Rainer and Ryan West. The forum is an absolute must for vetting the visitors as many are the kind of crappy, untrained “finish yourself” guys none of us want to see but there are the regular visitors and once in awhile the “masseur on vacation” or en route to Ptown that is worth seeing.

Sounds like he forgot what he quoted you. This brings up the question.....why would a masseur not have a price in their ad? Seems sketchy...as in they will charge whatever mood they are in that day, since they have no listed price. He is a rarity with no listed prices. I don't like that.

From what I recall He quoted me at either 160 or 180 by text and I left him what he had asked for. After I left he texted me thanking me for the “$20 tip” - I was a bit pissed off. But I’m giving him the benefit of the doubt and assuming he originally meant 140 or 160 and had added the extra $ as a typo/mistake.

I think he may head to LA after his SF stint, so keep that in mind.

If customers pay the price, then the masseur has set it correctly. There are market controls in place. First, what are others charging. Second, is it worth it which you can find out here. I don’t get plussed by people who ask for a lot of money. If I can’t afford it, or I don’t want to pay that much, I don’t make an appointment. I don’t get pissed because I don’t want to spend $1M for a Porsche 918. I buy another car. This is a luxury service. It is what it is.

I saw bestman when he was in Chicago. It was so-so for me. Been a while but don’t recall a very good massage. Think he is more escort than masseur. And given that the fun stuff was so-so too unfortunately.

Also saw Max recently - the real deal. Better then pictures. Excellent massage. Sensual but not beyond. Super nice guy. Good set up. Nice apartment and clean bathroom. Thumbs up!

I can echo that experience, except my second session was closer in time to my first and was with Heath solo. I was surprised that the man who gave a nice sensual massage during my first appointment seemed completely disengaged the second time around. It stands out of in my mind all these years later because it was probably the biggest change in level of service I've experience with a masseur.

Saw him last evening. Hands down (pun intended), about the best combination of therapeutic and sensual/erotic I've ever had. Was my third time over the last seven months trying to set up an appointment, but was more than worth it.

Or just don’t want people to know their business. Or may be the customers is know more publicly? Etc etc.
 
It’s not really the masseur I’m worried about. It’s a “customer list” being inadvertently or unintentionally disclosed.

I think the 5 guys you mention have a lot of fans in the forum so the volume of comments on them simply overwhelms other positive comments on others out there.

So, gents... been meaning to update everyone on my NYC trip.
 
Ended up having time to get two massages. Went with Ryan West and Rob (muscledmasseur) !!
 
First went to Ryan. Definitely a sexy guy. Got an hour massage at 7pm. Apartment in Hell's Kitchen area.
From the moment I walked in, he seemed to be a little down/tired. The massage ended up being pretty good. Wasn't as sensual as I would have liked throughout but did allow touching but his energy was just low that evening. HE at the end was nice! Had a nice little chat after. However, I still walked out feeling like he was a little "off". Can't pinpoint it because he did everything that I expected and the massage was good. Guess I wasn't blown away like I was hoping. Would I see him again? I think I would and would hope that his energy levels were a little higher.
 
The next evening, I decided to book Rob. I knew I would be doing a lot of walking that day and he was able to squeeze me in at 8:15 pm. He's definitely sexier than the pictures show. Great apartment in Hell's Kitchen. Right off the bat, he had great energy and was very kind! The massage was very good. Definitely gets in their deep. Noticed areas that really needed extra attention. Very sensual yet still therapeutic throughout. Allowed touching and his body is very solid! Good HE at the end. Great conversation afterwards, as well. Would see Rob, again, in a heartbeat and told him so! Left very satisfied!
