Danny got a reaction from BriansBodywork in HandsomeASN - Los Angeles
I’m a big guy and he refused to see me because his table has a weight limit. I appreciate that he wasn’t rude about it, at least.

Finally took the plunge after all these years and he lived up to the hype. Pretty good massage plus extras.

Many of us have lamented the current sorry state of options so I figured it’s time for an update on who’s good for therapeutic-plus. As always, YMMV.

I'm glad that you are still well, and hopefully you were never asymptomatic and inadvertently passing covid to others. Part of the reason why infection rates are so high is because some people do not take social distancing very seriously, and I can't imagine a way for massage to be done in a socially distant manner. Nor would it be comfortable with masks and PPE. I don't think the OP was trying to scare people, but just remind people of the very real risks involved. It's great that many masseurs follow proper protocols, but nobody is perfect and mistakes can happen. Stay well.

I’ve booked with him three times now, the most recent being December of last year, and I’ve always left happy. Super nice guy too. Can’t wait to book him again.

Again, I'd like to remind everyone that there is absolutely no way a provider can sanitize their facilities enough to prevent transmission. There is no way every single surface could be covered with 10% bleach or other antiseptics for at least 10 minutes of contact time. I would also imagine setting up a sterile environment to be exceedingly challenging if they are not operating in a healthcare setting. There is also growing evidence that the disease could be transmitted through aerosols. If this is the case, none of those practices would do any good. If you're in a room with a provider who is asymptomatic or presymptomatic, or if one of the previous clients is asymptomatic or presymptomatic, your encounter is now categorized as high risk. I just want everyone to stop using "he cleans his place between clients" as a justification for getting a massage.

I saw Clint two years ago. He was pretty aloof. Decent enough massage, but with the HE, he was stone-faced, as if he was just going through the motions with me.

As always, your mileage may vary.
