  1. Thanks @BasketBaller, heart warming as usual. And thank you for removing one of the reasons I had to regret not being able to make it to the DC meeting.
  2. ... Or Perth or Adelaide.
  3. The viaduct along the river bank would have been what pointed me in that direction (the rail line between Flinders Street and Southern Cross stations).
  4. @Kurtis Wolfe even more respect for you now. I didn't see the need (or indeed the point) of commenting earlier, it was all about observers' comments on what had, or what appeared to have happened. There are boundaries everywhere, in personal spaces and in performance spaces. They never magically disappear. Consent is a constant.
  5. Happy birthday, Hunter!
  6. Truck carrying hay bales takes out inflatable finish line at Australian bike race as reporter tries to shoot a story.
  7. Autocorrect, I suspect!
  8. Happy Birthday!!
  9. +144
  10. The NFSA regularly features on ABC local radio in Canberra. It is truly a national treasure. It's worth looking at its web site. I see from the link above that their screening of Starstruck last week cost $5. Five Bucks!! The Archive is a government instrumentality, so it may not go down the commercial path of releasing the film on blue ray or similar media. Perhaps it should. For those of you thinking of visiting Canberra, it is one of a number of 'national institutions' that are seriously impressive and open to the public. The National Gallery of Australia, the National Portrait Gallery, the National Library, the National Museum of Australia, the Australian War Memorial and MAD (the Museum of Australian Democracy in the old Parliament House).
  11. Perhaps some who take note of preferences for carbonated beverages?
  12. Now there's something to look forward to!
  13. Hey guys, have a great weekend of meetings and umm, 'meetings' in Washington. Sorry I couldn't be there.
  14. As I see it there is no right or wrong answer. Communicate with your man. If you want a continuous attentive relationship with him on the cruise, tell him. Likewise if you only want him in your bed each night. You can negotiate as much or as little freedom for your escort as you wish. I note @Benjamin_Nicholas' comment and that may be the way to go, but it's not the only way.
  15. To ensure that @Tarte Gogo sees you post...
  16. It's a web-based phone application that can be used for voice (and video) calls and text messages. It uses the data allowance on your phone (or Wi-Fi if it's available) rather than the calls allowance on your mobile phone plan. (I use it to talk to a few guys in the US, and when I'm using my home internet it's effectively free. An hour and a quarter voice call used about 20Mb of data.)
  17. How did you possibly find out about this guy?
  18. As one of those who see the new day start ahead of the US, allow me. Happy Birthday, Fresh Fluff!! May the day bring you everything you wish for yourself!
  19. I didn't realise that 45 escorted. Not my thing, anyway.
  20. That's entirely up to you. On your dashboard there is a toggle switch for 'Profile Visibility'. It shows up as either a green tick (sorry, check mark) [your visits will show up on their profile] or a red cross [your visit will go unnoticed].
  21. I would have thought that if outcall is the only option that a gentleman offers, his rate should include travel within a certain range.
  22. Maybe, but would you patronise a food truck called Sour Krauts?
  23. The Oxford lists the Diego version of the etymology of the word. It dates it from the mid-nineteenth century which probably predates the day labour version. https://en.oxforddictionaries.com/definition/dago And this from the Online Etymology Dictionary: dago (n.) 1823, from Spanish Diego "James." Originally used of Spanish or Portuguese sailors on English or American ships; by 1900 it had broadened to include non-sailors and shifted to mean chiefly "Italian."
  24. This discussion is interesting but in some ways misplaced. Are 'really straight' and 'straight identified' terms that make a distinction without a difference? I can understand people wanting their partners to conform to a certain set of stereotypes, and they have the right to question them to determine whether they do or not. The term 'imposter' is unhelpful and I would say presumptuous. People get to identify their sexuality as they see fit, and leaving aside the few who lie about it for whatever advantage (in this forum, commercial), no-one has the right to tell them that they are not what they say they are. Claiming that someone is not really straight because they do not conform to a set of stereotypes that an observer has decided upon assumes that stereotypes are definitive proof of someone's sexuality. In any other conversation in this forum a claim that stereotypes prove anything would be dismissed summarily.
  25. Pedantry central I know, but if it is a masseuse, she doesn't kiss.
