I was picked up by an Uber driver I had hired about a month prior. I recognized him but wasn’t sure if he knew me. We made chit chat - I would have loved to have asked him to have come inside my drop-off hotel with me but it felt intrusive without the mutual recognition. I texted him at his escort number immediately after and he said I looked familiar and he recognized the hotel. Oh well. It was kind of fun thinking back on our time together during the car rider.

Me too. I consider my risk of encountering someone who is disinterested, disengaged, unprofessional, rushed, etc., to be much greater than those mentioned in the thread. Those are the factors I consider when considering meeting a companion.

Nope. 50%-60% of the guys I meet (as opposed to hire) are from SA. (“Meet” being defined as any activity in which a bed and a penis are somehow involved.) I was booted from SA (shocking) and reestablished a skeletal account. I get far more inquiries than I can possibly deal with so I look for low maintenance or unusual guys and fit them in my in-between days. These guys are almost always 19-26. My number there is 200. No exceptions except for two guys who I’ve become very close to over the last couple of years (and one of whom I’m flying to meet me on a business trip Wednesday.) To the question above, a handful of these SA guys have preferred sleepovers as opposed to being requested by me. The 200 seems to be secondary to them compared to the companionship. I also meet or hire guys from A4A. Sometimes they are just looking for fun... sometimes they are amateurs looking for some pocket change along with their fun and sometimes they are in the Pro section with a number already in mind. My number there is 0 - 300. A4A accounts for about 35% of my evenings (most of those being repeats with a handful of core guys.) And I also hire RentMen companions for whom I have some special interest (for example the subject of this thread.) This is much less common than before. Most of my RM hires are repeats with favorites; I meet someone new from RM only perhaps twice a month. I’m traveling allot now and try to schedule someone for 5 nights of 7 in a week. That helps buffer the inevitable flakes from SA.

I’ve never used Grindr but use A4A allot. I have only met one non-PRO pro - he didn’t mention a number until I asked if he did massages. If timeliness from/to IAH is important to you then you may go as far south as the Heights but, as @Beancounter says, traffic is quite bad and you could find yourself sitting in traffic trying to make a flight. I stay in River Oaks - just a bit further - and have never had a companion balk at the distance. What you may encounter is not hesitancy to drive to you but unforeseen delays if he encounters traffic.

My libido varies greatly. I’ve recently jumped back into the SA swimming pool and have had the opportunity to spend time with a different guy every night since Saturday & Sunday the last 10 days in another city. And sometimes I’m not even close to being interested in being with anyone for a week or more. It seems to vary with availability but I’m not sure.

Domesticated and Trained don’t mean “able to reason”. The animal was put into a situation in which a) it felt endangered, and/or, 2) prior training had conditioned it to respond aggressively to certain stimuli. A cramped plane cabin with lots of people getting very close, strange noises and smells would put any animal on edge unless it had been highly trained to deal with those situations. Think New Orleans PD horses in a Marti Gras crowd. I’m at an airport right now and just saw a very cute beagle walk by. If I smushed it with a heavy rolling bag I’m pretty sure it would not respond well. Either way euthanizing an animal like this is the wrong response. The owner, on the other hand, should be held fully accountable for the behavior of the animal.
